Amberness

I quite impressed with this fragrance.. nothing very special about it but its unique in someway.. the name it self speaks luxury.. Over all : 7/10

It's my first review and it's based on my very subjective opinion so take it with a grain of salt... I smelled this fragrance at a BMW merch store. As i spray it out, it gives me the same cloying head ache inducing type of scent like the stronger with you line. But as it dries down, the scent trail is really really good and pleasant, but close to the skin it's still too strong. So i would wear it, i would not spray it on my arms or shirt, only on back of my neck, behind of my ears and collar, so it can create a scent trail but not cause me any head ache. As for the scent itself, it's sweeter, spicier, warmer than i expected, even a bit powdery. I expected the bergamot and vetiver be much stronger but the vanilla, ambroxan and cardamom are the main accords. It's more an afternoon, colder weather scent but you can pull it off in different type of occasions. Sillage is really nice and you can smell it from a distance even after the first 15 minutes but the longevity is not brutal, it's just okay/acceptable. Maybe i buy a smaller bottle later, but not top priority purchase. I wish bergamood was also available for testing at the store, i hope it arrives in a few weeks

Only worn it a few times, but I like it so far, though it lacks depth compared to some fancier fragrances. Sweet but still masculine. The citrus and herbs is present upon first spraying it but very shortly after it's all vanilla, ambroxan (musk) and vetiver, with the woody notes underneath, and it stays mostly the same as it fades. Not overly strong, and lasts about 4 hours on my skin. Bottle does look kinda goofy in person. The glass portion is just... basic and the top is comically large, with the BMW embossing looking too small. It may work scaled down on the 50ml but looks silly with 100ml.

This is one of the twin that embrace freedom’s cozy luxury and yes very modern, sensual and calming easy to wear, it’s blade cuts across gender, mass appealing, sexy yet masculine, classy , sweet and not too much, a balance in all form, this is a well thoughtful masterpiece put in place by BMW. The bottle is sleek though,to me this feel warm cozy and inviting. Performance is great, longevity amazing, all you can need in a fragrance, beauty and the beast if you can say, peaceful and pretty .

Clearly because of the clary sage, it smells like Wick Vapo Rub. Leave it on the shelf.

Oh I love that one, it is a very nice and easy going oriental tobacco fragrance, very modern and well balanced. It is warm and cosy, not overpowering with dry ambery woods but subtle musks and spicy elements. It could be an Hermessence fragrance, or a Moncler one... price is also very competitive. No need to spend 300€ to smell great and get compliments.

Looking forward to smelling these. Mercedes has done a great job with their fragrances, BMW could probably do a good job as well.
