Amber Sapphire

To say just by royal oud is a joke right. This scents runs circles around royal oud. Ro has a weird quality to it. Amber Sapphire does not. This is a top three boadecia scent for me behind hanuman and blue Sapphire. It's soooooo good! It may just be an every day scent, as is blue Sapphire. Both can be worn in warm or cold weather so to a wood base and bright fruit top note. I'm happy this scent doesn't get the love it deserves though, don't really want to smell it on anyone else. However, if it doesn't get love it may get discontinued, and I don't that one happen. Please test and buy? For me, ha!

This has such a familiarity, yet is so distinct, so unique, so persistent! At first sniff that rum and cinnamon just grabbed my attention, but it transforms and is persistently yet subtly sweet and powdery and smooth, projects for hours, but the unique nature never gets cloying, in fact i look forward to wearing this fragrance more and more because it’s so dynamic it’s really taking time to understand this fragrance, not basic at all! The cassis and mastic really make this attention grabbing and unique!

This is my holy grail amber scent. I’m a sucker for amber (real ambergris, not that made up vanilla/labdanum accord) and this scent imho does the job better than some of the most high end natural ambers out there, like Orca and Atlantic Ambergris. It has a fantastic dry, woody, salty, mineralic and slightly animalic smell. I just love it!

This smells closer to Creed's Royal Princess Oud to me than Royal Oud. Both are in no way ultra feminine scents but they have the same vibe. I still love this though.

Pleasant and happy woody aromatic chypre. The scent opens with notes of cassis, cinnamon, bergamot and rum. The heart is mostly floral rose and jasmine. The perfume settles on a sweet woody base of tonka, cedar, vanilla, cashmeran and slight oud. The powdery unisex scent has moderate projection and good longevity. Overall, a nice uplifting scent but hardly warranting the deluxe package and price. Enjoy!

First Impression: I really like the opening of rum with the black currant, cinnamon and mastic resin. Fantastic introduction. But holy hell, the jasmine in the mid is very indolic. After a while (an hour) it tones down but never completed leaves. After that it's joined by a halitosis vibe. It could be the oud mixed with the jasmine, or just the jasmine. I plan to give it another go and hopefully it will grow on me and if so, I'll update my review. But so far this one is a swing and a miss. A promising opening screwed up with jasmine.

I will agree with others that this has a creed royal oud vibe and NOT worth the money IMO. I have over 200 high end niche and love many other sapphire collection but this one is a dud unfortunately.

첫 시작부터 싫어하는 향이 난다. 이름에 걸맞게 호박색 보석의 느낌은 나지만, 사파이어가 아닌 표면이 매끄러운 종류의 보석이 떠오른다. 너무 매끈해서 거부감이 드는 느낌? 겉으로 시향했을때는 괜찮은가? 싶으면서도 깊게 들이키면 속이 빈듯한 느낌이 들고, 특별하다는 느낌은 들지 않는다. 이 가격이면 다른 앰버향수를 사도 좋을 것 같다

JAsmine roses combination with oud, and agarwood, cinnamon & rum, tonka beans and limes. This fragrance has clean effect within that shows a bit of a bleached floor with an animalic touch comes from the oud & jasmines. Black pepper as well is there accompanying the red roses all the way but lightened by the run and the tonka beans. Overpriced again (500+ Euros)

First of all, I don't like Royal Oud by Creed. I think it should be renamed to Royal Cedar. This Amber Sapphire is slightly woody, but it's really well blended IMO with the cinnamon, Rum note, tonka oud and vanilla so it's not overtly woody. The oud is not funky but really subtle. I like this stuff and can see myself wearing it a lot.

The Cedar reminds me of royal oud by creed, and that's a good thing. Just buy royal oud.
