Amethyst

One of the best cold weather fragrances, IMO. Plum, cinnamon, and creamy vanilla....with a smidge of leather to back everything up. It's a very cozy fragrance and doesn't project any further than an arms length...which is good. I get 8+ hours on my skin and clothes. If you like MFK Grand Soir, you'll love Amethyst! They aren't the same but are in the same vein. Amethyst goes a little creamier and masculine/dark in the dry down. I'm surprised this doesn't get talked about more in the community. Perhaps it's because of the price-tag and that Boadicea releases a new fragrance just about every week/month. None the less, if you have the money to buy a full bottle, it's totally worth it and you won't be disappointed. If you're like me, buy a decant and make it last for a few years! A few sprays go a long way! Cheers!

Amythyst is a very beautiful gourmandish fragrance with Cinnamon and amber as main players and fruits like plum in a small, cameo role. I don't get leather much but its a strong scent with a delicious cinnamon, black pepper and vanilla. Blackberry is invisible to me. This fragrance with great performance reminds of a director entering the board room (a bit late) by opening the door without making any noise and all heads immediately turn to see who could smell soo good. And Amythyst doesn't smell sort of airy or light on first spritz. Its sort of a solid fragrance made to last and linger. This must be having lots of many other ingredients too. This one is so well crafted with high quality ingredients that only Angels share comes close to it though both are different but share some vibes. Try it.

Easily one of the prettiest bottles in my collection. Cinnamon, amber, vanilla, pepper, plum, and leather. Is it worth the price? Depends how much you appreciate those ingredients and the presentation of the bottle. Beautifully blended, lasts long and has moderate projection. This is somewhere between Oajan and Side Effect, so if you’re a fan of either of those you will like this. Worth sampling though, took me a couple wears of a sample to really confirm the purchase considering the price

Blackberry & plum spiced jam delves into a spiced amber that ends on a vanillic leather accord. Wonderful for the cool/cold weather, I am surprised that this isn't more popular, even in the niche fragrance world. Lasts around 8 hrs, I'd definitely look into buying a full bottle for the next cold weather spell.

Even though fruits are not listed I get something like a plum in this fragrance. The cinnamon note is beautiful and leather sets it off. Sweet, spicy, unique. Longevity is A+ and projection is pretty good. Great for cool weather and date nights. 9/10

Sweet spicy ambery scent from Boadicea. The perfume opens with aromatic notes of cinnamon and pepper. The heart is all amber. The perfume settles into a base of vanilla and leathery woody notes. The unisex perfume is regal and sophisticated and has strong sillage and very good longevity. An easy scent to like, theres not much here to offend anyone. Think of a more natural fresher Baccarat Rouge. Enjoy!

Starts out pretty good, but the drydown turns into a holiday affair on my skin. The drydown of cinnamon, (clove?) amber reminds me of a fall candle. Lasts a while, projection is about an 1.5hr before it sits low on skin. Overall it's not terrible but I'm pretty indifferent about it. I'd recommend Byredo Eleventh Hour if you're looking for a fall/winter holiday scent. It smells better at a fraction of the price. ------------------------------------- Scent 5/10 Performance 7/10

It’s a straight up close to Angel Share by Kilian. But AS was launched in 2020 so I guess AS was inspired by Amethyst, no?

I bought a bottle of this. It's basically starts with fruity, cinnamon and pepper. As it dries down, amber and woody vanilla notes come in and the fruity & pepper notes go away. However, the cinnamon stays throughout the cycle though it becomes less dominant along the way. On my skin, the sillage is not strong but has good longevity, around 6-7 hours. It doesn't fill a room but people near to you will notice. I'd rate this at 8/10 overall. Edit: I'm in love with this frag. After many wearings I find it more and more like a spicy & less sweet version of Ambre Narguile!

This perfume is a dream, a mouthwatering dream. It opens with a jammy fruity concoction. Although not listed, the sale assistant told me it was because of the fruit extracts which are difficult to get, this has the hefty price tag. The fruits are dark, plums, cassis, blackberries and spread onto an ambery base. It never gets too heavy though, the fruits have a certain tartness that never leave the land scape. Although spices, pepper and leather are listed, it's so well blended, they doesnt stand out as a single note . A truly royal perfume worth every penny.

Plum wrapped in a spiced amber with a vanilla leather dry down. Absolutely stunning, the leather is very light and almost unnoticeable, nothing like TF Tuscan Leather. Excellent silage and projection over 10hrs on my skin.For presentation no one beats fragrance du bois so far. Ill cherish my bottle and May pick up a backup.

A quality amber/vanilla with warm spice and some distant leather notes. $400 for 100ml of this is insane. You can find better and more complex fragrances at that price range with similar notes Only keeping a decant of this for now since I got it at such a low price

Very well done straight forward scent profile. I just did not get any projection or longevity. If it had more of those two it would be a 10 out of 10 amber type scent for me. Because it lacks in projection and performance I have to rate it a 7.5-10.

Beautifull and ellegant cinnamon scent but boy, it's really weak, especially for such pricepoint. You need to spray around 5-8 sprays so the people will notice it and refresh it every 2 hours. :(

Smokey vanilla-amber. Saffron, powdery florals and white musk. A nice, simple wear, comforting sillage. Unisex.
