مرحبا بك من جديد أيها ال "ملل" ألا ترى أنك أصبحت تكثر من زيارتي هذه الأيام ألم تسمع من قبل بهذه الكلمات "زر غبا تزدد حبا" ولكني أعلم أن الأمر لا يهمك، فأنت على يقين من أنني لن أحبك حتى لو فارقتني للأبد من يعرفني جيدا يستطيع بسهولة أن يشم رائحة الملل بمجرد دخوله إلى غرفة مكتبي. كل شيء مبعثر بعناية ودقة تامة.. الأوراق، الكتب، الأقلام، زجاجات وعينات العطور المتناثرة هنا وهناك. في مثل هذه الحالة تبدو لي العطور وكأنها شيئا واحدا .. ليلتقي الملل بالضجر في مكان ما بداخلي. هناك من يهربون من هذه الحالة باللجوء إلى النوم. أما أنا فلا .. فغالبا ما أرى نفس الأحلام كل ليلة.. فقط أنام عندما ينفد رصيد الطاقة بداخلي ويصل المؤشر لعلامة الصفر. حسنا ها قد وصلنا.. تصبحين على خير يا نفسي.. أحلام ملولة لا أعرف متي تبدأ الأحلام خلال فترة النوم؟؟ قرأت مرة أنها قد لا تستغرق بضعة دقائق وربما جزء من الدقيقة مهما كثرت الأحداث. يبدو أننا بدأنا سريعا هذه المرة .. ما هذا الممر الطويل !!! ألا يوجد مخرج؟ يبدو أنه لا مفر من الاستمرار في السير حتى نهايته!! ليته ينتهي. ها قد وصلت إلى نهايته ولكنها للأسف نهاية بلا مخرج مجرد حوائط تحيطني من جميع الجهات.. هل يجب الآن أن أعود إلى الوراء؟ أم تراه الأفضل أن أمكث في مكاني؟ وبعفوية وجدتني استجمع قبضة يدي لأضرب بها هذه الحوائط لتتلاشى واحدا بعد الآخر بمجرد ملامستي لها ما هذا الذي أراه!! أيعقل أن هذا الممر الوهمي كان داخل هذه الواحة الأسيوية الرائعة طوال الوقت دون أن أدري. كثيرا ما رأيت صورا لشجيرات العود ولكم تمنيت أن أراها في الحقيقة. ولكني لم أتوقع أن تحيطني من كل جانب على هذا النحو البديع. ولكنها ليست كما اعتدت أن أراها إن السيقان حتما لشجيرات العود الداكنة أما الأفرع فهي من أخشاب الصندل الميسوري فاتحة اللون، وقد خرجت من براعمها ورود تركية ومغربية وربما بلغارية أيضا كبيرة الحجم تتساقط من بتلاتها قطرات الندى المتلاحقة لتتسابق أعواد الزعفران الإسباني الكثيفة في التقاطها قبل أن تصل إلى الباتشولي الذي تناثرت أوراقه القليلة الظامئة المنهكة طريحة الأرض ترقب مهارة الزعفران في التقاط قطرات الندى بيأس تام. ومن دون أية مقدمات تقبل الرياح من جميع الاتجاهات محملة بأوراق الياسمين البيضاء الدافئة. الذي ما أن يقترب من المكان حتى يبدأ في إحاطته بحركة دائرية بروانية ليتداخل كل ما هو موجود بالمكان من حولي سيقان العود - فروع الصندل - الورود - الزعفران - بقايا الباتشولي لتبدو الأخشاب الداكنة والبيضاء في وجود حمرة الزعفران والوردو وكأنها خطوط متوازية وتتسارع الحركة مع الوقت فتزداد الخطوط المتباينة وضوحا وتبدأ في الاتساق وفجأة تعم المكان صرخة أشبه بالضرضرة التي توقفت لها حركة هذا المزيج لينفرج المشهد عن "نمر" كبير في أوج قوته. وتمتد يداي بعفوية مدهشة للإمساك بهذا النمر قبل فراره وما أن تقترب منه راحتي يدي حتى أجد بينهما زجاجة Boadicea Nemer Boadicea the Victorious for women and men

When I first got the decant of this fragrance, it was a moment I received some bottles of other fragrances and some other decants – so I only smelled it quick from the small flacon and I did not struck me with the excellence this perfume really is – it was only after a couple of months when I was cleaning up my fragrance collection, I put it on me and I was overwhelmed with the quality and the smell – it’s so unique – I am normally not a great fan of roses in perfumes – but this rose blends so well with the saffron, patchouli and sandal wood ( I truly love sandal wood in fragrances ) – When I smelled it, I really wanted to buy a bottle, it has a great silage and the longevity is out of this world, this is a quality frag without any doubts but even with this high end price tag it might be worth it only I still have to convince myself buying it maybe with the 15% reduction Notino is offering today I might make the purchase this weekend, though I like Blue Sapphire, Valiant and imperial of this house as well.

I've spent the last 12 hours with Xerjoff Astaral on one arm and Boadicea Nemer on the other, comparing them side by side. Both fragrances are quite similar and impressively good, mostly staying close to the skin. Astaral is slightly less powerful in terms of lasting power and projection but still has a very appealing scent. I find myself repeatedly drawn to smell each arm, discovering a unique, slightly salty mineral quality in both, similar to the scent of a magnesium salt bath. While they are incredibly alike, Nemer stands out for its stronger scent, offering twice the intensity. This could make it the preferred choice for some, but Astaral's lower price makes it an attractive option as well. Astaral is definitely not falling far behind, offering great value. Both are worth trying for anyone interested in unique, skin-close scents. Given Astaral's more affordable price, I'm leaning towards purchasing a full bottle of it, but I'd suggest testing both to see which one you prefer.

Nemer is for people who prefer unconventional solutions and choices. It doesn't try to please you from the start, but shows the strongest parts of itself. And I do not believe that strangers will rush to compliment your fragrance. Camphoric herbal starter, blame cypriol with lemongrass if you are faint-hearted, that rolls into patch with tigerwood and only in the middle way, like behind the secret gate, you meet that bright rich rose that blooms. It is like having an adventure towards the aim. It reminds more of skillful essential oils blend for massage in exotic country. I totally loving it from start to finish, but I Am an aromatherapy junkie, it worth trying for perfume amateurs in niche section, yet not for everyone. Nemer triggers the interest and holds attention, leaving lots of unanswered questions.

Although rose accords are present, this is not a rose dominant fragrance. In fact, I would say this is more of a woody- cashmeran fragrance than anything else. The rose notes only play a supporting role. Typically, I find most rose centered fragrances to lean feminine. However, because of the woody aspects and the moss/cypriol combo giving Nemer some earthiness, this fragrance is perfectly unisex. Nemer last about 8-10 hrs on my skin with a small scent bubble. Overall, nice but not a must have for me. Update: This fragrance has really grown on me. I’ve been wearing it more, and the rose is more prominent than it was at first. Nemer borders on being too feminine for me. I typically like masculine fragrances. However, the scent is fantastic. I picked up a bottle.

600 for a less interesting and much much weaker version of Kilian Pearl Oud. I'm aware this came out first so perhaps Kilian copied them, but the Kilian is better on all measurables. Performance is very disappointing but smell is great with rose, iris, and a jet black leather jacket vibe. This is struggling on my skin after only 1 hour, and by hour 2 it's disappearing. Love this scent profile, hate the performance to price value. If you like this check out Pearl Oud before you buy Nemer, it's stronger and smells better IMO Scent 8/10 Performance 4/10

If you like Arabian fragrances then this one is hard to beat. Whats there not to like? This is too strong in the beginning but in a good way. Opens with a lovely Rose & saffron. Woody scent of oud and sandalwood join almost immediately. Excellent blending of all Ingredients in every way. When I went to a bank wearing Nemer today I got compliments from two strangers and this is my signature now. I wonder if a man could smell better than this. Samples are available on Boadicea website. Charming fragrance,luxurious,almost decadent. Powerful and majestic, perfectly unisex. The union of Turkish and Moroccan rose is sublime, gives an enchanting and evocative trail. The sillage is strong, just a few drops, longevity is extraordinary (20 + h). Definitely among the best of Boadicea... it is fantastic! Sillage: 9./10 Longevity: 10./10 Scent: 9./10 Overall: 9.5/10

WOW! Is there something close to it from another brand?PLEASE TELL ME!!! I loved it from the first sniff. So special,wild and different.I get the tigerwood and something citrus/rosy.Not a typical deep OUD one.It is a little bit weird on the first 12 hours, but after that it is pure light rosy love. 580€ is a punch in my face... Very nice rosy woody scent, creamy, not harsh, middle eastern style. suits older women and men. If you are 35+ from the middle east then it is pure nostalgia, this scent has been smelled in mosques and in many homes. Personally i think this scent is very nice, but hard to find the right context to wear it

A wonderful woody floral with great performance and a gorgeous oud dry down that leans more on the meditative green side. Something sweet and slightly camphorous persists underneath that is really beautiful. Nemer is hard to describe, try a sample!

My official winter scent. Can’t wait for winter to wear it again. Very strong scent and lasts a long time. I get compliments every time I wear it with pure Oud perfume.

Nemer is a smooth woody perfume with a nice flowery touch that is perfect to wear during winter. Has an amazing projection. One of the best perfumes by Boadicea.

This is a weird fragrance the progression of notes seem to go backwards! The opening is incredibly woody and Oud was the first thing I recognized but it's overpowered (no mean feat)and literally after a minute or so...Gone! This fragrance then begins to morph completely into a crazed scent which reminds me of public toilets. Really hate that analogy, it makes me sound like a philistine because this juice is one of the most opulent things I've ever smelled but unfortunately it has that eye watering thing of highly concentrated/industrial strength cleaning products. One tiny application and I can tell already this is up there with the strongest perfume I've ever got the chance to smell. It's not quite the urinal cake of Amouage Ciel man it's actually bearable. I get the rose aroma but it's very unconventional more like Turkish delight! Seriously that's what Nemer smells like and of course I assume they flavour Turkish delight with Turkish roses...so it makes sense. I know I'm a genius! :) So odd that the woods come on so strong at first and then transition not so subtly into a complete sharp floral bomb! I love saffron and I suspect that's where the sharpness is coming from, although with so many strong elements in here I couldn't pick it up for sure and I'm normally very sensitive to saffron. I thought Tigerwood was a golfer? well no wonder he gets laid so much if he smells this good, the woody element to this fragrance opens strong then sits gentle underneath for the duration of the experience. I can't help but admire this fragrance for it's gutsy approach and I'm positive many fragrance lovers will be bowled over by it, I am but not in the right way. It's weird because it doesn't smell of any of the component parts but all at the same time all of them at once...usually the mark of a great composition. Very high quality ingredients have been used and Nemer is a unique combination but everything is fighting for the limelight to my nose and as such nothing shines. Update: Oh yes the woods have come back out to play and the drydown is really really nice a such a contrast to that turbulent opening which lasts several hours.

It opens with a strong, earthy, animalic oud—dirty, but smooth. Within 20 minutes, the intensity deepens before the roses begin to bloom. By the 30-minute mark, you get a near-perfect rose-to-oud ratio, wrapped in a soft, creamy cloud. Around 40 minutes in, the Turkish rose takes the lead. This transition—where the rose starts to pull away from the oud—is when that slight medicinal note shows up (as others have pointed out). But it’s fleeting. Soon after, the rose and oud return to their duet. As it continues to unfold, the oud evolves into a rich, silky caress, softened by a sprinkle of powder. Then come the cameos: little pops of green, fresh (almost citrusy), and spiced notes that flicker in and out like fireworks. Then comes the encore. The animalic oud returns, but this time with elegant pairings—rose with patchouli, rose with sandalwood, rose with musk. As it settles, the whole composition wraps you in a warm, opulent blanket, rocking gently between amber/vanilla/sandalwood and powdery rose/oud. These dualities echo softly until the very end. What a show. This is wearable art. Truly gorgeous. Longevity is strong, though projection is questionable—at least based on my sample. You might need to reapply, but that may change with a full bottle. Because of its softness, it’s versatile and 100% unisex. It can be worn by anyone, anytime.

A criterion woody amber scent by Boadicea, this is a dreamy almost perfectly calibrated scent, that truly breaks the usual rose oud mould. The mixing of sandalwood, jasmine, saffron, Turkish rose with tigerwood oud yields a liquid that feels a bit unearthly. Opening with herbal aromatic notes, and moving to the rose dominated floral heart before settling on the lovely powdery woody base, this is a symphony that simply flows on skin. The unisex dessert like scent has moderate to strong sillage and excellent longevity. One of the best offerings from this house. Enjoy!

Not as animalic an "oud" as some others in the open, has a somewhat synthetic feel in the opening (might be the lemongrass and pepper) but it settles down fairly fast into a nice smooth spicy woods and slightly jammy sweet rose. Deeper drydown patchouli comes through, lending a nice earthiness. It's compared to Rasasi Boruzz Cambodia and I agree they are quite similar. Nemer has a sweeter and earthier tone though which I think makes me prefer it just a bit more, but there is a price premium for that. Good stuff.

Pretty earthy on clothing. Okay kinda scent. No rose whatsoever. On skin I only got danky scent. Really not worth the price for me. I think I’ll just stay away from this house, beautiful though the bottles may be. Revisiting this after over two years, I now can sense some roses buried in the earth. The overall scent became much better now that I’m not expecting anything. Yes, it’s now upped to a like.

Lovely mature rose and ylang balanced nicely on a woody base. I pick up a hint of ambered pepper in the heart notes, but it is subtle. A high quality composition, but I fear the impact is underwhelming for the price point.

My favourite fragrance by Boadicea. Oud, rose, patchouli, castoreum, saffron, musks and more! Its very complex and i highly recommend it. Very traditional arabic style fragrance. ★★★★★

Powerhouse rose fregance with a mossy and Amber base. Classic middle eastern type scent that is timeless, but there are plenty in the market that have similar DNA. Just a walk through a souk would offer up many alternatives, at a much cheaper price. A refined fregrance for a very specific demographic. I like it but would not wear it.

This could have been an amazing rose oud fragrance. But again no longevity at all. 5 sprays and gone after an hour. Based on my experience with boadicea so far, outside the sapphire and animal series, it's a hit or miss and more misses with the rest of the releases. I like the house and their well blended scents but unfortunately they barely last on skin. So you don't experience the fragrance development and dry down. Unfortunately Nemer had the potential but fails after an hour. Can't justify the price. It does last longer on cloth 3 or 4 hours but stays linear.

Received as a sample, wow, this one has very low projection. I could hardly notice it, seemed a skin scent immediately. But...my wife noticed it on me and thought it was very nice. So maybe it was just me. She thought it smelled like cherry blossoms, maybe kinda feminine.

Earthy, peppery and dry-poopy that’s as dry as a bone. It’s a barren, sun-scorched earth with the rising fumes of Cambodian oud that’s livened-up by spicy cracked-black pepper. Very Rasasi Boruzz in style - serious, formal, stand-off-ish and masculine.

Very beautiful Rose- Saffron- Oud fragrance. The only downside it short lived for a max of one and half hours.

This is a funny old juice. It's very hard to describe. I can see why people might consider it creamy, but to my nose that's the last way I'd describe it. It's more medicinal than creamy, with a supporting act of smokey, and a side order of oud and unfamiliar flowers. It smells completely different on different people, which might be to do with the volume of natural ingredients. It's definitely a powerful scent, and also has an air of cruelty about it. This fragrance will command respect and the quality of the ingredients is evident, but it isn't very friendly nor very sexy. I can see why a previous reviewer was drawn to the industrial cleaner analogy, perhaps due to the density of this juice coupled with the medicinal oud which definitely has an air of the Dettol about it. Which isn't repulsive, rather: compelling. This isn't recommended for a blind buy. I only got it because I saw it on ebay for a deal too good to pass by, but have learned to curb that impulse, as even though a steal at that price and the juice is top notch and from one of my favourite houses, it isn't something I find myself often craving. Though that said, perhaps more so than many of my others as the bottle is already half empty, mostly used on trying to understand it (or impose it upon my couch cushions) than enjoy it on my own skin. You might just love this one, it's enigmatic and refined, and both exotic and in a way quite traditional. (By the way I don't detect the patchouli myself). But I find it quite linear, with an overwhelming song and dance at the beginning which quickly fades into a hum. A nice hum, but not an especially catchy or avant guard tune - familiar but a bit perculiar like hearing ABBA played on the steel drums, or 'Oh Say Can You See' on a Sitar. Smells great on upholstery, though blimey what an extravagance.

Based on first whiff, this smells very clean and shampoo like. Maybe the ylang ylang is giving me a shampoo impression, maybe the lemongrass is making it smell fresh and shower like to me. The opening is more unisex. The rose and patchouli give it such a soft feel. Dry down smells more ambery woody on my skin and becomes more masculine. I like the fragrance, just surprised at how natural and gentle it smells to my nose i guess. I could see this on a very dapper gentleman, this isnt going to be an “attention grabber”, its going to just come across as smooth, sophisticated and quite a refined choice. I would wear this to work, church, or maybe a business formal event where you want your fragrance to make a statement that you don’t care what others think, you’re not trying to get anyones attention, you know you look good without anyones confirmation, and likewise smell good regardless of what’s popular or what other people think.

A beautiful, refined fragrance. Even though oud isn’t listed in the official notes, I can clearly smell it. To me, it adds depth, elegant woodiness and a luxurious character to the composition. It shares something with Aventus and Straight to Heaven. Not because they smell alike, but because they convey a similar mood: fresh woods, understated elegance and an effortlessly expensive feel. The fragrance is long-lasting, fresh and highly expressive. At the same time, it lacks the sweet, syrupy character that many people associate with Middle Eastern perfumery. The rose is handled beautifully here...clean, refined and modern, without any sticky sweetness or heavy oriental feel. That’s exactly what makes this fragrance so versatile, elegant and, in my opinion, especially handsome on a man.

Boadicea the Victorious NEMER Here we have a beautiful opening of bitter and sweet roses, like a floral liqueur full of resins. Sandalwood appears immediately showing an indian sandalwood facet, the same way i get on Dries Van Noten FM, but creamier and softer. I thought the agarwood here would have a main place but it does not. The oudh here is a different and unique kind of and hard to find. It must be a softer and smoother one as i get only a warm woody note but it is so good and lasts a lot on skin, so natural and a little bit dry and delicate. A nice fragrance... I would expect more from the usage of agarwood here (i am a huge fan of oudh though, i thought it would be heavier). Very nice. Need a try! Quality as always from Boadicea! :)

I absolutely love this one! For some reason this brings back memories of my childhood when i would walk into a brand new clothing store in a posh mall and the waft of new clothes mixed with the cool A/C air would caress you as you open the door and enter into the store. It's pretty strange that I get this connection, but i sure as hell do! :-) whatever it is, I'm loving it. does anyone know of a place where they sell smaller sized decants of it? The only place that i found online sells only tiny vials other than the 100ML bottle (USD 850) and they limit to 2 vials every order. so, it's a killer combined with postage from US to Australia! :-) Or anyone who's had enough of this and wishing to sell theirs at an affordable price? :-D

@Chanakya It is funny what you say about clothing store. Because whenever I go to my Niche store to get a few samples of Nemer I always say that it reminds me of an expensive department store. I think it includes that A/C the clothes and possibly leather goods, not sure but I totally make that connection too. I have come very close to buying a FB and I might still. I just wish it was closer to five hundred instead of nine hundred.

After testing a sample of Nemer, no question this is a quality fragrance that lasts forever. It's tough to describe what I'm smelling because it very unique. I do get a bit of that medicinal vibe but that dissipates fairly quickly and then I start to sense the rose and woods. What I'm most amazed by is that this is, to my nose, exactly like Kings Road. Very difficult to detect the difference. And Kings Road is 1/2 the price.

I dont know what people are smoking, but this has no projection, I mean yes in the first 1-2 hours you can smell it, but then its a skin scent. It has decent longevity, but its very inoffensive. A great rating would be: long lasting + moderate. The scent itself is nice, but I wouldnt pay the full price for this. It is however very unique, but again this price... (i do own it, 'cause im all in for roses)

I experimented with this fragrance a lot. Guys loved it. Most girls hated it. A very fragrance experienced girl told me it smelled like medicine to her. I personally like it but it’s not a complement galore. It’s top quality but it’s not worth that price. Also performance was not beastly. It was a little above average. So not acceptable for this price.

Phenolic oud accord, rose, saffron, frankincense and bitter citrus pith. This time in the style of Oud Satin Mood. Not bad but I wish more houses could focus on either creating something remotely original or not releasing it at all.

Very nice perfume from Boadicea, which evolves around rose, Oud, saffron and sandalwood. I can't say it's unique but it smells of excellent quality.

from the notes I was expecting very rosy, woody scent. However, it is very faintly woody, and no rose to speak of. Some jasmine is present.

has anyone smelled pure tigerwood oud and knows how this compares? i'm enjoying it but can't quite make up my mind.

I really loved the balance wood-oud-floral this scent. Smelled rich, elegant and expensive.
