Chariot

This is for sure unisex pushing a little towards the masculine side. I was a little curious how this was going to smell after reading the note breakdown. I received this along with the other famous offerings from this house with my purchase of imperial. This is a rose oud combo but with a fresh yet strong take. It's super complex so don't bother reading for a decision, one can only describe a fragrance so much. This is a nice offering from the house though. They all have a certain signature vibe to them I've noticed and that's power. They have a vibe to them that's not only strong in notes, but powerful as in the wearer of the fragrance has power. If you spray this fragrance and look at the notes, it's like they are all blended to create their own notes. They amplify the rose and oud though to make the oh so common combination very unique. It's defiantly unique and I don't see you going throughout the day with at lead a head turn or complement. This is 100% niche so nobody is going to smell like this and the quality of ingredients are second to none. Even the presentation that the house gives is very nice. Attention to detail. 8.5/10 overall The dry down on every boadicea fragrance is amazing. Out of all them I have worn so far , which is 6 of them, 4 out of 6 turn into complete different scents and in this case it's an amazing thing. Taking something that smells good at first and turning it into something that's a complete work of art.

This is very beautiful. Full of exotic floral, fruity, spicy notes with incense like oud in the background. Oud isn't overpowering either. Edt, So much more is going on here than what seemed on initial spritz. There is a nice, superbly blended sandalwood incense too which lifts the whole experience to new levels. IMO this is not the scent for people to rock at clubs nor for date nights.This is the scent for people who are busy building their own lives and are seen at places of self improvement like the libraries, yoga & meditation classes, piano & violin classes and museums etc. And like many other very expensive offerings from Boadicea this isn't a wallet buster fragrance either and an absolute delight to wear. But the corollary rule is to try a scent twice or thrice before pulling the trigger on a full bottle. Do speak to Yulia at Boadicea (online) London. Beautiful oud/floral fragrance! Been getting several compliments when wearing this one - sometimes I layer Chariot with Taif Al Emarat's Bahrain, as Bahrain gives Chariot a hint of Middle Eastern powder note. Chariot is an elegant and complex fragrance, leaning more masculine imo.

Chariot has a huuuge jasmine note to it so you must love white florals. Very white floral, fruits, with a woody base lingering in the background. The mids stay for the entirety of its lifespan. Quite feminine, very bright. Good, not great. Beautiful!

One of my favorite perfumes. I used it during fall in London and it was perfect. Don’t know how it behaves in warm weather but for winter, fall and spring it’s amazing. When there is no sun this perfume will inspire you. Classy, elegant, unique.

This is another stunning Boadciea. It is one of these scents that i had to get as soon as i smelled it. Amazing! Reminds me of Valliant (though that bottle is cheaper!) with a bit more vanilla and less long lasting.

Gorgeous complex fruity berries scent, leave a delicious trail, strong oud mix with floral at the background, very well crafted such a brilliant fragrance, good longevity around 6 - 8 hrs Chariot is 9.5/10

It’s fresh fruity floral but in a strong way. It has power and a lot of personality, also it’s very unique. The opening is very fruity and somehow floral, and after a while it becomes a bit creamy, and you start to notice the oud (not funky or stinky, just Woody and smooth) and probably the vanilla. To my nose there’s also a strong pencil wood like smell to it that I personally love. Longevity is weak to me, 2 hours and it becomes a skin scent, and sillage isn’t great either. I’m sure it’s a batch thing, but coming from a house famous for its powerful fragrances (i own a few and they are bombs), they could do better. I like this fragrance a lot and I’ve been wearing it a lot more than I thought (not in very formal occasions though), but it’s not my favourite.

I guess like the other reviewers I will stick to fruity floral description. It's also creamy as in the creaminess of a very sexy and expensive sun screen. This smell somehow immediately takes me to Mediterranean beaches. It's very long lasting with good projection. It's not Amouge Interlude (which I love) strong, and it's a good thing. 2 sprays will suffice. Very wearable. Very unisex. Not every one's cup of tea. More of a frag head kind of smell. Test before you buy. Neiman Marcus stocks all varieties of Bodicea the Victorious. You can test there. Note: I see that abmr999 scored the longevity and sillage as 6. And my bottle is pretty much a 10 on both aspects. So there might batch issues with this perfume as in Creed. Beware.

My first of this house. Gotta say that I’m drawn to this for its beautiful bottles. And after sniff this, I gotta say that I’m not disappointed. This is a really lovely and extremely sophisticated scent. Don’t take my words for it, try before you buy as everyone has likes and dislikes as complex as life itself. To my nose, nutmeg and cardamom take the leading role. You might think differently. Above all, take time to enjoy the complexity of the scent before judging.

A very pleasing floral fruity chypre, and an uplifting scent. The perfume opens with notes of citrus, apple and berries. The heart has a variety of white florals accentuated by hints of cardamom and nutmeg. The perfume settles into a mossy powdery bass with hints of musk, papyrus, patchouli and vanilla. An almost perfect unisex spring or summertime day scent with moderate to strong sillage and good longevity. One that will make you happy. Enjoy!

Complex. Engagingly, rich and complex. The fruitiness draws you in, while the florals and spices swirl, swoosh and dance in and out. Thankfully, the oud plays only a discreetly and well behaved supporting role, in the background. The overall mood is mysterious and deep. This is a scent for strong personalities with refined tastes.

Definitely an oriental fragrance. Not a bad thing at all. Fruity / Oud . Beautiful and mass appealing like most Boadicea great performance. PS: not close to Valiant tho. It’s his own thing.

As said below: « strong oud mix with floral at the background. -If you do not love oud, this is not for you. I am unfortunately sensitive to oud, and can not (even though i really want to!) smell any other notes. Too bad for me I guess..

Gmoney9438 review below is very accurate to what I get from this. Is it pleasant smelling? Yes. This is more white florals than anything else with maybe the fruit aspects peeking out a tad more on the mid to drydown. It does lean feminine because of those white florals. It would be best suited for the ladies imo or anyone that wants white florals to take a leading role.

Creamy yet powdery white musk, leather, acidic red berries, blackcurrant, syrupy rose, patchouli, incense and herbal greens. Well balanced between floral feminine brightness and masculine rugged darkness. Like a very fruity but smoked cocktail, pleasant stuff.
