Boadicea’s love letter to the people of Kuwait, Dasman is simply precious, I would have to describe it as the ultimate narcotic , part sumptuous fruity floral, and part complex woody oriental, The fragrance is full of charm and mystery, sketched in Turkish rose, saffron and geranium up top, with unlisted fruity tones that read like boozy plums. The heart of the fragrance highlights a strong woody core, built upon the contrast of cypriol, vetiver, patchouli and Cambodian Oud. Dasman darkens gradually as the woody notes continue to raise stronger in the presence of amber, musk, and the weightless translucency of incense...until it becomes truly nocturnal in feel...evocative of roses mingling their intoxicating aroma with the exotic smell of bakhoor. I have to confess, the depth and regality that this fragrance exudes is unmatched, this is the kind of aroma that would simply undress and conquer everyone’s senses with a single whiff.

Boadicea Dasman: A Glimpse into the Gulf Dasman opens with a rush of animalic oud, restrained by the sweetness of syrupy Turkish rose. The bergamot shines through cooling the resinous mix and gentle saffron spices the rose. As it dries down, the sharp rose and oud having tired from their tangle, both mellow to create a harmonious richness. Subtle flickers of patchouli and vetiver add depth, keeping the scent alive and evolving. A truly intoxicating scent. A masterclass in blending and opulence. The perfect date night fragrance. She will be intrigued as soon as she catches a waft of your scent. Projection and sillage are enormous, in true Boadicea fashion. A close contender for the best oud in my collection.

A beautiful woody floral Musk designed around the Classic rose oud duo. This fragrance was conceived as a tribute to the Kingdom of Kuwait and opens with notes of citrus, soothing lavender, saffron and geranium. The heart of the fragrance is centered around a beautiful Turkish rose. The fragrance settles into a base of musk, oud, patchouli, vetiver and olibanum. It’s honestly one of the most beautiful rose and oud compositions I’ve ever smelled. I’m really pleased and grateful to add this masterpiece to my collection.🤲🏽🤍🤲🏽 8/10 in my book.🤓📝📓 Wear what you like, not what other people say you should like. Never blind buy!

I followed @allechant.fragrances' recommendation and tried out Ghali, by Oud Elite. Boy I'm glad I did, because I was originally planning to get a Dasman backup bottle, at least until I smelled Ghali. If you want a fragrance, that's extremely similar, just try Ghali for a fraction of the cost.

Started with a very powerful sweet rose and dark oud, but quickly calmed down into an almost dry, slightly powdery but still dark scent. It’s seeming to me like a mellowed and more natural smelling version of TF Noir de Noir.
