Boadicea’s love letter to the people of Kuwait, Dasman is simply precious, I would have to describe it as the ultimate narcotic , part sumptuous fruity floral, and part complex woody oriental, The fragrance is full of charm and mystery, sketched in Turkish rose, saffron and geranium up top, with unlisted fruity tones that read like boozy plums. The heart of the fragrance highlights a strong woody core, built upon the contrast of cypriol, vetiver, patchouli and Cambodian Oud. Dasman darkens gradually as the woody notes continue to raise stronger in the presence of amber, musk, and the weightless translucency of incense...until it becomes truly nocturnal in feel...evocative of roses mingling their intoxicating aroma with the exotic smell of bakhoor. I have to confess, the depth and regality that this fragrance exudes is unmatched, this is the kind of aroma that would simply undress and conquer everyone’s senses with a single whiff.

Boadicea Dasman: A Glimpse into the Gulf Dasman opens with a rush of animalic oud, restrained by the sweetness of syrupy Turkish rose. The bergamot shines through cooling the resinous mix and gentle saffron spices the rose. As it dries down, the sharp rose and oud having tired from their tangle, both mellow to create a harmonious richness. Subtle flickers of patchouli and vetiver add depth, keeping the scent alive and evolving. A truly intoxicating scent. A masterclass in blending and opulence. The perfect date night fragrance. She will be intrigued as soon as she catches a waft of your scent. Projection and sillage are enormous, in true Boadicea fashion. A close contender for the best oud in my collection.

A beautiful woody floral Musk designed around the Classic rose oud duo. This fragrance was conceived as a tribute to the Kingdom of Kuwait and opens with notes of citrus, soothing lavender, saffron and geranium. The heart of the fragrance is centered around a beautiful Turkish rose. The fragrance settles into a base of musk, oud, patchouli, vetiver and olibanum. It’s honestly one of the most beautiful rose and oud compositions I’ve ever smelled. I’m really pleased and grateful to add this masterpiece to my collection.🤲🏽🤍🤲🏽 8/10 in my book.🤓📝📓 Wear what you like, not what other people say you should like. Never blind buy!

I followed @allechant.fragrances' recommendation and tried out Ghali, by Oud Elite. Boy I'm glad I did, because I was originally planning to get a Dasman backup bottle, at least until I smelled Ghali. If you want a fragrance, that's extremely similar, just try Ghali for a fraction of the cost.

Started with a very powerful sweet rose and dark oud, but quickly calmed down into an almost dry, slightly powdery but still dark scent. It’s seeming to me like a mellowed and more natural smelling version of TF Noir de Noir.

This is extremely well done and mass pleasing Oud-Rose combo. Very similar in experience with Montale’s Black Oud...latter being sweeter and synthetic. Modest projection but above average longevity. Shukran Habibi!

Really beautiful, honey/saffron/rose/oud. Not to challenging, not too sweet and the blend does wonders for me. The texture of Dasman is very smooth and velvety, kind of smells purple. All year scent for me

A deeper, richer, sweeter take on the Black Aoud DNA. This is definitely more refined and has a honey like quality to it. Really nice but not sure if it’s worth the price.

This fragrance is incredibly decieving. At first it opens with an unbearably strong oud which smells really bad to my nose. 5 mintues later it turns into a soft floral scent that my nose can barely detect, This delicate scent surronds you like a cloud and apparently people love it. It is not a masculine fragrance, It is very delicate and pleasing, I would definitely wear this for an office daily job or as a signature scent. Generally speaking, most unique rose-oud combo i've got to try, it is not offensive and definitely a good purchase for those who'd appreciate floral scents. Performance wise - on me it was below average compared to the votes here, 3-5 hours of performance in total.

Enchanting woody floral musk designed around the rose oud combination. The perfume is designed as a tribute to the Kingdom of Kuwait. The scent opens briefly with notes of citrus, slight lavender, saffron and geranium. The heart is mostly a beautiful Turkish rose. The perfume settles into a base of synthetic musk, slight oud, patchouli, vetiver and olibanum. The powdery unisex fairytale like scent is the type of perfume no one is likely to have any complaints with as long as they find the asking price justifiable. The moderate to strong sillage and excellent longevity as well as luxurious presentation are probably reasons to gravitate to this pleasant concoction. Enjoy!

The fragrance is gorgeous. It's sexy, floral, woody, with spicy notes of geranium, which is the most dominant note for me. I also love the balsamic drydown and base. It's very unusual for me to see the rose and olibanum combination, as usually I don't experience a lot of balsamic/floral fragrances. The balsamic undertone however gives it a little "sweet" undertone that I'm not sure how I feel about. I do love the too notes a s the floral heart, but the soury and tangy background is a little bit too strong for me.

It smells great, a very modern oud rose combo that is mass pleasing, but I dont see any justification for the high price it sells for. But then again, I am probably not the target audience for a brand such as BTV which sells blends such as this for exorbiant prices.

First Impression (Jun 24, 2024) They was so much to mention about how I feel about Dasman.. Because my respective friend from community, highly recommend. “It is unique take on rose oud, you will love Dasman, still echo in my head almost half year ago” When I first received by bottle.. I haven’t brave enough to try. So I sniff from a spray head. Surprisingly.. I recall another fragrance.. that I do own.. “Onyx by ATH” Why it is so surprisingly similar?!?. I stun and I haven’t teat them further.. Later, I just have chance to test my bottle during sniff party, I spray this 6 sprays, and ready to roll, come what may. Please.. allow me to mention, this is.. truly build around Noir de Noir DNA, all of them and that isn’t bad. Consider the point Noir de Noir is most famous DNA of TomFord, unique and original. Still, Noir de Noir is one of most selling scent from TomFord. Both Dasman & Onyx, build around highly praised DNA, which they own twist and material.. If you ever sniff Noir de Noir, you would remember how earthy it is. It is not contains real oud but its chocolate undertone Patchouli, sweet support resemblance with mortal, rose sweetness. Soft savory Earthy, from Truffle. Make it so beautiful. I record my first entry in January 5, 2023 on Fragantica.. Dasman, build almost the same structure. However twist to rose dominant, velvet feel from Damascone is amp up, to make a velvet deep red beautiful rose. Fruity tint. Red, Rasberry ketone was added, along with geraniol evidence in metallic base. Supporting by Saffron. Is truly my best interpretation of “the Oreintal rose” so far, long lasting. Top of Dasman, is exquisitely blooming. The way Bodacious build rose.. might be the greatest I have ever smell. When scent start move to the heart, rose is there but transit to slight greener side of thing, I think it might contains real rose, cooling feel from Patchouli and soft green hue Nagamotha start to embrace. When do I enjoy the most, is oud. I do not want to say this because I have no evidence but Dasman, contains real oud... and this is where luxury house do the best. It has certain, dirty - animal like. No, it is not Barnyard, IT IS NOT, but it is dirty, sweaty like. But it merge into soft wood that cycling around the beautiful rose. Everything melt into one piece. And rose that bloom non-stop on my skin. Dasman use Ambermax to ground scent as evidence when I sniff real close, however consider projection. Dasman, hide this aspect fairly well. Dasman, end with clean woody oud, with soft rose ambient, soft sweetness on my skin. Scent ends around 6 hours post wear before become long lasting skin scent. I think, Dasman may use a lot of natural, because scent dry slight fast consider Parfum concentration. Another my respectable friend in my community mention, “perfumer of Bodacious, when it comes to Oud, he is not play” this is so true. Dasman can be described that way. And another one mention “As the house become more expensive, they trends to rounding the scent, clean all details to perfection” that is also the case for Dasman. In my own opinion, Dasman could be a perfect fragrance for reversed composition of Noir de Noir to rose dominant, authentic ingredients and one with most beautiful rose, I have sniff yeah. Desman could be best interpretation of Dasman Rose I have sniff. However, I cannot ignore the fact that this build so similarly in Noir de Noir structure, release 10 years prior to Dasman. I believe perfumer can have they spin on their favorite DNA and Dasman also another great one with good twist (not everyone must be unique, it can be refine too) as fragrance release in expensive house, Dasman truly reflects the quality.. It might come down, how much you would like to spend on this DNA then it is might not be a good place to find something differently intriguing. I am lucky, that NdN is also my favorite DNA, but do I need it to be this beautiful? I am not sure, I need to materialize my personal way of thinking... As scent 10/10 As personal, I have no idea yet... Extension 1 on Sep 10, 2024 I do notice a pineapple tone like fruity rose along with amber that feels resemblance characteristic of Ambergris, the salty amber hiding in the background. I see this quality being handsome, I like it. ===== Dasman Boadicea the Victorious (USD 330, BNIB Tester) Pre blind-buy record. I blind buy Dasman as fews mention it was unique take on Rose-Oud scent. No idea how the scent turns out. I am not familiar with Boadicea the Victorious too. Let's see where can we go.

There is a strong resemblance of TF Noir de Noir to my nose. This does add some real oud, but unfortunately it fades quite quickly. The oud here is not for beginners, as it has some character, but it it's not overly faecal either. I tried some challenging ouds before, this is not one of them. The quality is here for sure, but I wouldn't say this is unique. I also expected this to perform better. Maybe I have to macerate it more since my batch is fresh. Edit: About 5 months after first spray, it became stronger and much better blended. The oud is also a bit more persistent.

My favorite Rose/Oud combo of all time. Boadicea doesn't not mess around with this DNA. The oud and all the nuances are so smooth and refined. This doesn't have the massive oudy blast like Nebulous to my nose, but man is it quality. The fruits are mouth watering, dark, mysterious. I pick up nuances of grapes, plums, oud, rose. This is the first rose / oud I wore where a girl was just inhaling my shirt the entire time I wore it which is not common with western ladies from my experience and oud LOL. 10/10 masterpiece.

My favourite rose oud to date. Bright almost sparkly rose opening with a powerful but not too animalic oud backdrop, this is a really incredible scent and so it should be for the price. The rose here reminds me of the rose in Declaration d’un Soir - a bit sweet but freshened with spices. There is an almost boozy element to this from the start too, you could be mistaken for thinking this has a prominent rum or whiskey note. Fresh, sweet, floral, intoxicating, woody, dense, powerful.

Literally the most beautiful fragrance ever smelt. Of course it’s named after 'دسمان' AKA Dasman, an area in Kuwait, that had Sheikh Jaber AlAhmad’s palace located in it. No comparisons at all, this deserves to be in a category alone. This has a very unique DNA that isn’t unique overpowered by oud instead it gives you light oud with rose in the background and saffron with lavender. People who appreciate perfumery must try this one, since it is an icon. Love BOADICEA!!

Opens with the rose/oud/amber at the forefront with some distant bergamot, saffron, geranium, cypriol and patchouli An hour into the wear and the fragrance has changed. It smells like a bergamot/vetiver/rose/oud fragrance now which is a pleasant development since citric vetivers are some of my favorite profiles Projection with this fragrance is very soft. Seems like it will be a small scent bubble rather than something you can smell from a few feet away

Buy it. It’s sexy, it’s unique, it’s mysterious. The projection and longevity is insane. It’s super creamy on me and a tad bit powdery. It’s sweet while still carrying some edge to it. It makes this super sexy, even for a night out. I’ve never smelled a fragrance even remotely close to this one, and I’ve gotten tons of compliments wearing this. Not to mention my friends love to steal this from me 😂 I love it to death.

"The more I wear Dashman's rose perfume, the more I like it. The rose scent is shining and sparkling, and it is quite wearable compared to other Oud Rose scents. It has an uplifting aroma, and I find it beautiful just the way it is. The only downside is the expensive price tag, but overall, I like this perfume."

Citrus, rose oud with bakhoor like incense/ faint smoke. Rose isn't as voluptuous as Carbon Sapphire but just perfect to go with citrus fruits and woodsy incense. This is so uplifting and beautiful. A must try for rose oud lovers.
