Greenwich

Starts with spicy bergamot and mild saffron. The spiciness is then reinforced by cinnamon. The rose opens sweet notes which become stronger as patchouli and ambergris come into play. Oud and vetiver make this sweetness very comfortable and pleasant to wear. Saffron accompanies the scent all the time. A very sensual, delicate and romantic composition in my opinion. My favorite among Boadicea fragrances I’ve tested.

An amazing scent. Shibor has done a great job of analysis of components and how the scent unfolds, I'll just add my thoughts. The components of this scent are difficult to distinguish, but they are multilayered and the fragrance evolves. Performance is great. I sprayed this on the back of my hand this morning while wearing another fragrance on my body, and this has outlasted the other fragrance. It isn't a sillage monster, but it is perfect for this fragrance, turning into a skin scent after 6-8 hours on me. It is unisex and can be worn by men and women. It has nuances of incense, marine from the ammbergris, and the rose and patch blend well. The vetiver is not over powering either. Spices are not dominant either; every facet of this fragrance doesn't overwhelm, but each do their part, like a well tuned and practiced symphony. I don't find it as sweet as Shibor does, and that is perfect for me. It starts out more sweet than it finishes. I don't think I'll ever give this one up.

I bought the three scent travel collection from boadicea. I got this one, hanuman, and amber Sapphire. Later I bought like 15 other samples based on notes and some reviews. Weirdly enough these three continue to be my favorite from the house. Hanuman is one, amber Sapphire two, and this three. But this is against 15 other scents. Most of which i really like. Greenwich is a different beast, I almost get a spicy green Irish tweed from it as weird as that sounds. The notes are pretty different. I don't get oud in here or much fruit, I can sense it's there and it balances the spices and vetiver. I can't put my finger on why I like it so much, I just do! That's the kind of fragrance I like, they invoke a emotion from me. I love it, I love spicy, I love fruit, I love vetiver. Weirdly none completely take the lead, but they all do ha. This is very under the radar, is love to here some other opinions on it. Hope you guys sample and let me know.

The reviews of this fragrance I have watched have been great. However, in my experience I really only smell the pepper on me and the sillage and longevity lean more moderate on me rather than eternal & enormous. I personally would not spend money purchasing this again.
