A beautiful half-sibling to Tiziana Terenzi's Laudano Nero. I'm shocked this note breakdown doesn't have beeswax or honeycomb in it. This does have a tobacco quality similar to Tom ford's Tobacco oud as well, but less polarizing I feel. It is smooth, smooth, smooth and refined. Expertly blended with a hint of nuttiness and smooth leatheriness from the saffron. The coffee isn't very present for me but the forest-aspects of the cypriol and fir combine all together to give me a "cool evening with a cigar about to be lit in a luxury cabin" kind of vibe. All in all, a strong tobacco dominant scent with a darkness and richness not commonly found, and with a restraint shown on the sweetness that few are bold enough to commit to. Scent: 9/10 damn near flawless for my tastes but also worthy as a composition on it's own merits. If you like Laudano Nero, tobacco oud, sospiro classica, or slumberhouse norne then you may really love this. Sillage: 6/10 it isn't the most potent cloud or following train but it has a decent presence for several hours. Projection: 6/10 at rest this has a potency for a fairly dense cloud that you will catch whiffs of for a few hours. Longevity: 7/10 a solid seven hours with up to five being "useful" to me. Not as potent as Vanquish or Iceni, but quite acceptable. Final verdict: would I buy another bottle? Yes. It is a European exclusive release so getting it in the states is very difficult and pricey but if you get the chance, give it a shot.

This house has produced a sizable numbers of 5 star fragrances. Hero belongs in this group. The notes are beautifully blended. Each stage is wonderful: Coffee, Rhubarb, Indian Oud, and many others combine to make this classy and strong, but not in any way overpowering. I am shocked by some of the low ratings. Are we smelling the same fragrance? I would wear this mostly in winter/fall and at night. If those who are seeking compliments this one may be one you should try. I love it sitting at home or at an elegant gathering. I would encourage people who enjoy this house to at least sample it. The only downside is its price.

Breathtaking powdery masculine Oriental from Boadicea. The perfume opens with a nice coffee note surrounded by hints of hazelnut, saffron, rhubarb and ylang-ylang. The heart is another nice sandalwood and tobacco along with tonka bean, patchouli and rose. The perfume settles on a powdery benzoin base surrounded by hints of Indian oud, fir, cypriol and guaiac wood. A dominant perfume suited for bold personalities but with a real sweetness to it, this masculine leaning scent has pronounced sillage and projection and excellent longevity. Enjoy!

This fragrance is a very solid addition from Boadicea. It is sweet, woodsy, spicy, and warm. The hazelnut, tobacco, and Tonka blend well together with the slight bit of coffee and the base of woods. It smells devine, has moderate to solid performance, and is unisex leaning masculine. I'm not going to write a novel here or have chatgpt do it for me like some of the folks below so I will just leave it at this is a great fragrance. Get your nose on it. One of the best from the house. Always sample or try a decant first but Hero is fantastic.

What a beautiful Fragrance. For the first 30 minutes I get a strong oud with mild incense in the background, the oud smells natural and not the synthetic one. After 30 to 40 minutes the incense and oud calm down and you are left with the most alluring sweet resinous oud and mild tobacco. It last all day and be careful with the trigger since this is a very potent composition.
