Heroine" by OtV is nothing short of a sensory embrace, making you feel as if you’re wrapped in the warm hug of a loved one. I wouldn't say the projection is amazing, but it does leave a trail. It's the most gorgeous scent. I immediately bought it after smelling it the first time.

I would have given up on this house but I get to try them for free, so I keep trying them, and I keep being mostly disappointed. They have a million fragrances and most of what I've tried has been either a high priced clone or not something I'd pay retail for. A lady friend suggested I smell this one so I did. Eureka! A scent that hits the mark on scent and performance but unfortunately it's feminine. The opening is nice violet, citrus and roses, powdery, with nice base notes of iris and musk. I didn't get much vetiver but it's blended pretty well. However, this is again, similar to TT Casopea. I'm not sure who was inspired by who, but this one smells good and is worth it if you can find it at or around the price of Casopea (unlikely).

I mean, the opening of this is so so good. It’s one of those perfumes that immediately blow you away. The violet, jasmine and rose are beyond gorgeous. The citrus makes them pop and the musk is powdery and soft. It is very sweet and I normally don’t like sweet but maybe that’s because I associate it with juvenile type fragrances, and this isn’t that at all. The problem is it’s literally gone in an hour or two at the most. I was contemplating shelling out the 300 bucks you can get this for at discount because the opening is one of the best things I’ve ever smelled. But then I came to my senses. Still, I may buy a decant.

I mostly detect violet and jasmine. This is a very floral, feminine and musky perfume. The musk is beautiful and mostly works as a supportive note (not dominant at all). This is in fact a strong WHITE FLORAL fragrance, due to the intense jasmine note. The vanilla makes it even stronger and amplifies it. This is a sweet non-indolic "sexy" jasmine, similar to the tuberose in the Kilian's Good Girl Gone Bad (similar sexy theme). I feel like Good Girl Gone Bad is more affordable and produces exactly same effect, except with the tuberose.

Heroine é um perfume muito bonito e fácil de agradar. Na saída senti bem o cítrico e a violeta, mas ao secar vem o adocicado da baunilha com o musk que amarram as outras notas em um perfume bem agradável e feminino. Apesar de senti-lo doce (na medida), não acho que ele "sufoca" em temperaturas mais quentes. Estou usando ele de dia (cerca de 5 borrifadas), com a temperatura em torno de 27°C e ele continua sendo agradável ao meu olfato. A projeção e fixação é muito boa na minha pele.

An absolutely gorgeous perfume that showcases the perfect balance between powdery violet scent with the citrus punch. The opening for this perfume took me into a rollercoaster of emotions, very citrusy and very bright yet there is something very sexy about it. The dry down is powdery with a hint of citrus and musk undertones. I smelled it once and could not get it out of my head. A unique scent that is so well balanced and made to perfection.

On my skin it is mainly Violet and Iris together with the musc in the base. They are not bitter but sweetened. The start sounds a bit messy and strong but let it settle on the skin , needs around 30-40 minutes to settle. Does not remind me any other perfume, so quite unique in its own way. Good longevity , also leaves a beautiful tail. Worth trying not a blind buy!

Prior to purchasing this, I must have tested it 20 times. Yes, it reminds me of Britany Spears Fantasy and Cassiopeia but, I find it a bit less sweet than those. My husband loved BSF on me but I like Heroine much more. It just seems more elevated and classier. I guess we both win with Heroine.

The ultimate pretty and pleasant scent. A really nice signature fragrance that is everything I would ever want, it's sweet but also fresh from the citrus and a little floral and light but also warm. Just perfect!!

smells exactly like title of this fragrance

Alright, please hear me out guys. This is an far more elevated and beautiful version of Britney Spears 'Fantasy' or Police 'Passion'. It has nothing to do with 'Hero' in terms of DNA, However this starts with a beautiful, powdery citric-fruits sorbet. Dries down to a super smooth violet & vanillic-musk without losing the fruitiness. Even though it reminds me of affordable perfume, 'Heroine' has a bit more oomph...with less synthetic facets too. Staying power is pretty strong, Not as strong as 'Violet Sapphire'. This is an extreme crowdpleaser and summer/spring sexy for sure. Is it worth $300+? I am not too sure, that's for you to decide.

Heroine opens with a gorgeous violet note accompanied by a burst of bright citrus. This unfolds seamlessly into a beautiful floral heart. The composition is wonderfully floral, yet never cloying. On my skin, the dry down reveals a soft, powdery blend of musk and vanilla, creating an elegant and comforting finish. Longevity is around five hours, with moderate projection throughout. This feels like the perfect fragrance for days when you want to feel effortlessly elegant, feminine and put together.

First impression... first spray and I instantly thought of Sweet Pea from BBW. It’s pretty.

Smell like floral soapy bubble bath

2bClair few comments below nailed it - the opening is amazing, it's heavenly, oh so good! It could be in my top 10 if only that phase lasted more than 30 minutes! Unfortunately it very quickly turns into something generic, quite pleasant but this is how the dry down of thousands of other perfumes smells :-( absolutely nothing special about it. Heartbreaking! If any other company can recreate the top-mid notes and make them last at least past one hour mark they will make a fortune!

I don’t get soapy or shampoo at all here. Nor is this powdery (which I love) to me I’m getting a sweet fruity non descript floral with a syrupy stickiness that reminds me of a million other designer fragrances. It does perform and project well with one spray, I’ll give it that. I normally do not speak about price, most luxury houses that I own I feel are worth the price tag. This is the 4th BTV fragrance I’ve sampled and I have t found one yet that’s worth the asking price.

I am underwhelmed by this fragrance because for the price point I would expect better scent, better longevity and at least some amount of creativity. This smells like expensive dupe for Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture 🥲

This smells like Herbal Essences Shampoo to me. Pretty for sure, but it just seems like for $550 - it should smell like something other than Herbal Essences Shampoo, you know?

It’s a strong, tropical pina colada on me, with juicy pineapple and smooth creamed coconut. It’s lovely, just a touch too sweet for my tastes.

Very pretry violet dominant fragrance on me. I definitely get the comparisons to shampoo or soap. The initial spray has something delightfully fruity in there, but that calms way down as it dries. There's still a lightly sweet fruit in the background, but I mostly get violet jasmine and a soft Musk. I've never smelled Britney Spears Fantasy or Cassieopia to compare them, but I really like this Heroine perfume. On my skin, it almost smells like the most pleasant nothing - like fresh clean skin. I probably won't buy a full bottle, but I'm definitely buying a larger decant. I can see myself wanting to wear this on a hot day when I want to smell good, but I don't want anything overwhelming.

At the very first spray, the fragrance opens with an intense burst of freshly cut green grass... vibrant, sharp and almost piercingly green. But as the opening slowly settles down, something magical happens. Suddenly, violet, powder, iris and delicate hints of jasmine begin to emerge. The fragrance transforms into something soft, enveloping and incredibly elegant. I would not call it especially unique or strongly distinctive. Otherwise it is simply a very pleasant and refined fragrance. For some reason, it instantly makes me picture a woman in a Chanel suit, wearing large diamonds and smoking thin cigarettes. Very old money. Very quietly luxurious.

I tested the range in store without knowing the notes, and this stood out to me. I was unfamiliar with the dna, but as a guy I guess I hadn’t come across this dna often (as it’s apparently targeted to women). Nevertheless, I felt very comfortable wearing this the 5 or 6 times and i had the pleasure to be in its bubble. The citrus-violet-musk has great pop and verve and lasts most of the day. Suave.

It’s pretty but it immediately took me back to middle school with Britney Spears fantasy. Granted I haven’t smelled that in so long, I still remember it. This is a much better blend of course, more refined but I don’t think that justifies the intense mark up. Love this house but this is a miss for me. Still a pretty scent though and it has moderate lasting power.

To me this perfume on the skin smells like a whole bunch of nothing... maybe some floral soap mixed with some shampoo scent and that's it. There's no projection on me and absolutely no impression on me the way some top niche perfumes do. Im not sure what their point was in creating this one.

Lovely powdery, soft scent. Comforting and inoffensive. I’m surprised people compare it to Cassiopea, which I also own, as they are absolutely nothing alike. This is a soft musky non-animalistic type scent. Cassiopea is fruity, and animalic musk in true Paolo Terenzi fashion.

Beautiful fragrance. Clearly more female oriented but I would enjoy smelling like this. Reminds me of a more floral, less creamy version of Mind Games’ Queening. Both 2 of my favorite feminine leaning fragrances. Airy, but solid longevity and noticeable sillage.

Of all the Boadicea's this is the most approachable IMO. It is light and feminine, powdery and floral. Like roaming through the mountains on the outskirts of Rome in spring. Very pricey for its scent profile and longevity.

Currently testing this one with a sample. I have to admit the opening is astonishing to my nose. Will update later regarding performance :)
