Knight of Love

Great fragrance! Received this two days ago 9 NOV 22...two sprays and the wife immediately said it smelled fresh, clean, sexy and masculine...this scent will arouse women in the best way, trust me! In my opinion, it is similar to Thameen "Regent Leather"...very close! Price point...ehhh! Don't blind buy, sample first, please! If you are a mid-level or senior level gentleman working in an office setting...this is for you! Office scent that is mass appealing and safe! This is definitely a boss scent. I didn't get the Polo vibe at all...again, it smells similar to the above mentioned fragrance to me "Regent Leather"...this has been done before. So many of these new fragrances are similar to other brands in my opinion. However, this is very smooth and refined...the best ingredients according to my market research. I think men who like to smell clean, regal, and masculine will enjoy this fragrance (compliment getter). I bought this before seeing the YouTube chick who generally markets several niche brands...she hyped this fragrance up like a true salesperson...so beware of the hype! However, I would have to agree with her and I don't normally agree with her reviews because she is getting kickbacks and deals from niche brands...but this time she's on point, this scent is a banger! Enjoy fragrance lovers! Q-Scents!

Boadicea The Victorious Knight of Love is one of those fragrances that doesn’t just wear; it performs a role. The fragrance opens with a rich, velvety rose, subtly brightened by a touch of fruitiness that adds warmth and approachability. As it develops, a unique menthol-tinged tobacco note emerges, introducing a fresh, slightly green contrast that cuts through the sweetness and gives the composition lift. The drydown settles into smooth woods, amber, and soft musk, creating a clean, polished finish with a lingering, intimate warmth. The defining feature of Knight of Love is its cool, mentholated tobacco accord. Rather than the warm, heavy tobacco found in many fragrances, this note feels airy and refined, acting as a counterbalance to the richness of the rose. It adds dimension, sophistication, and a subtle sense of control, keeping the fragrance from becoming overly dense or sweet. Longevity is strong, with the fragrance lasting throughout the day. Projection is moderate, creating a noticeable but refined presence, and the scent trail remains smooth and elegant rather than overpowering. Ideal for evening wear, date nights, and formal or semi-formal settings. It performs especially well in moderately cooler to slightly warmer weather, where its balance of warmth and freshness can fully develop.

I finally acquired a bottle of Knight of Love after much back and forward, trying to convince myself otherwise due to its steep price. Fortunately, for me, I found a bottle for half the price, so couldn't pass up the singular opportunity. As others have noted, this is a much more refined and better structured version of Montabacco. While the Jayne comes off as rather screechy, synthetic and aldehydic. This one feels more natural, deeper, and multifaceted. You can definitely tells its been creafted with better raw materials, as the quality and composition is second to none. I also found performance to be rather satisfying, lasting and projecting well throughout a full work day, so I can see my bottle lasting decades. While I found the investment justified (least for me), I still wouldn't recommend this fragrance at its inane retail price point. However, discounted, is a different story altogether. Those who are already satisfied with the Jayne might aslo wan't to skip this one as well.

It smells very nice although it took some time to understand this. Because at first it felt rather simple and weak. Later I realised the scent quite smells expensive and one can think of an old 1000-year-old knight story behind it if one wants. It's not a strong scent overall and that is not a problem, it doesn't have to be. The only similarity with anything else is the Alexandria's dupe of Roja's Oceania: Knight of Love smells like a much fainter version of that one (maybe they just have a common and recognisable ingredient) plus something mild and pleasant. Actually there's one more, also by Alexandria: Caribbean Cove, inspired by Amaffi's Caribs for Men which is hyper expensive as all its production: it has at least the same "vibe", some sort of royal feeling behind it.

Christian Provenzano strikes again with a fragrance clearly inspired by Montabaco. If you’ve smelled Montabaco, you already know what to expect. I’ve compared them side by side, and I own a bottle of Montabaco Intensivo for reference. Montabaco comes across fresher and a bit sharper, especially in the opening where both are nearly identical. The tobacco in Knight of Love leans more toward pipe or cigar, while Montabaco Intensivo has a nuance closer to cigarette tobacco. As they develop, Knight of Love turns warmer with amber and vanilla, while Montabaco Intensivo stays fresher and delivers better projection and longevity. I often sell off fragrances when I find a better take on the same DNA, even at a higher price, but in this case, I’m happy to keep Montabaco Intensivo.

Yep! It smells like OJ Montabaco but, this is smoother and my skin pulls more sweetness than Montabaco. It’s a great everyday fragrance. Some may think it’s too expensive to wear as a work fragrance but I will because I can smell it on myself and I don’t see anyone around me Not liking this.

I love this fragrance so much, The smell is very green & clean like chypre kind very rich tobacco.... Glad to have it in my collections 😋

WHAT A MASTERPIRECE IT MAKES YOU FEEL RICH AND SUCCESSFUL PERSON I

The juniper, citrus, cardamom opening is too similar to household cleaner on my skin. This is a masculine-leaning fragrance that packs a polite punch for the first few minutes of wear. It takes about 10 minutes to develop into something more leather forward that lingers in a beautiful way.

This is a noble and honorable scent, truly like a knight. But unfortunately, it's not worth the price; to me, there's nothing particularly special about it.

Almost identical to Montabaco intensivo. I don't know why BTV and Provenzano continue to make dupes. Overall I prefer Montabaco Intensivo.

If you find Ormonde Jayne Montabaco to be too strong and too cheap then buy this

Think fresh tobacco ... clean citrus ... shower fresh ... green ... slightly sweet (not too sweet) ... somewhat herbal minty ... did I say fresh and clean? ... ultra masculine. Think about the popular 1978 Polo Green ... keep the rich, green, masculine tobacco notes ... remove the ashiness ... replace the ashiness with clean, fresh, herbal citrus, while still maintaining that alpha male characteristic ... and there you have Knight of Love. Knight of Love is much easier to wear than Polo Green and will draw compliments from many of those around you. It makes you feel shower fresh from the time you put it on til the end of the day. This is a linear fragrance that is never cloying. A safe blind buy.

Quick first impression, think main direction part Clive Rock Rose part Roja Reckless? But so much going on, real good and present watery bergamot, gracious florals in deed but held down unisex and blending more and more masculine, got the jolly, positively affecting mood as being a night-out manly.

Very regal scent. Honestly smells like how the bottle looks. Fresh green notes, a little bit of florals, a touch of sweetness, a lot of depth from the tobacco and wood notes. Best version of this DNA I’ve smelled yet, wouldn’t buy at full price but from discounter’s would be worth it

Complex and unique. One of my favorite BTVs I've smelled. Every time I smell it I pick up on a different note
