Nefarious

The moment I saw this fragrance, I had to give it a try. After years of wearing the same scent, it was time for something new. And now that I have, I will never go back. This fragrance is much stronger than what I'm used to, but that is a good thing! The perfume lasts all day and night with just one spritz Living in a humid, hot climate, floral perfumes always take me to a brighter place. When I can't go to the tropics, at least I can get a whiff of that paradise with my favorite perfumes. Floral perfume has been my go-to for over 10 years because it never fails to make me feel better. This marvelous fresh scent is my favorite because it reminds me of the forest in springtime after a light rain. It is fresh, rejuvenating and it smells fantastic! I am so in love with this scent. The first time I wore it, I got compliments ALL day long. It's light and refreshing, but also has a deep, floral tone to it that really makes it stand out. It smells amazing and I love wearing it

A lovely and pleasing woody aromatic scent with distinct gourmand and floral touches, this is a nice offering from Boadicea. The perfume opens with a juicy peach note along with saffron. The heart contains a nice orange surrounded by neroli and Damascan rose. The perfume settles into a powdery base of amber, sandalwood, Oud and synthetic musk. The unisex perfume unlike its name is a happy and somewhat innocent scent perfectly suited for spring and summer days. Moderate to strong projection and long lasting. Enjoy!

Top level ingredients as is expected from BTV BUT this is Guerlain Santal Royal with less incense. Buy the Gerlain and save the money and the Guerlain performs better too. Some below have said the same thing and they are 1000% correct. I have both and Santal Royal is better.

Really loving this. The opening is a fruity, smoky oud (Froudy?) that is pretty unique. It mellows out to a not-too-sweet floral and eventually dries down to a musky, ambery sandalwood.

It’s the standard sweet musky, amber-saffron-oud that most Arabian fragrance houses churn-out and excel in. It’s very rich and indulgent but a touch too sweet for me. It’s getting washed off my as it will make me feel nauseous soon as it’s quite cloying.

Sandalwood with some amber and fruit. Performance is average at best. I could not smell it well after I sprayed it. But it does come back. On paper it works great but falls apart on the skin. With that price tag it’s a joke. Just sandalwood with some fruit. Nothing new.

Ok, so this was my 2nd of 4 testing samples. It is powerful; it goes on my skin fruity and spicy. The peach (and red berries?) are strong, and so is the spicy floral. It's a bit powdery too. But I like the sweetness here. It's a bit like Kilian's Back to Black. Very heavy-handed, you got to be prepared for this one. It's more to my liking with the bold fruits than my previous sample of Notorious but in the end, it doesn't develop too much aside from growing even more floral (as Boadicea's tend to do) and powdery. I think this is one more towards the feminine tastes My rating: 6/10 (Thanks to Boadicea for the vials)

Upon application I immediately thought this smells incredibly good but familiar. I don't know why it's being downvoted, but like a previous reviewer mentioned this is pretty much Guerlain's Santal Royal. Up to you to decide if any slight nuances makes this worth it. This projects very well but falls apart if you smell it near skin, so I wouldn't wear it for any close encounters. As it gets weaker over time and the projection drops this is less of an issue up close. Great release, but also redundant.

Fantastic scent, only it smells exactly like Santal Royal by Guerlain. You'd think that ok, perhaps the Boadicea will last 5 times as long cos it costs almost 5 times more than the Guerlain. But no, this isn't the case. Santal Royal lasts just as long as Nefarious, sometimes even longer (as is the case with vintage bottles). So, save yourself some money and get Guerlain Santal Royal for a fraction of the price of Boadicea Nefarious. You're welcome.

Sparkly peach with a juicy orange and rose. The rose feels very artificial, no oud or hint of oud in this as I do not believe they use any real oud in their compositions. It feels like its missing a lot. What is it missing? I don't know, but its lacking. For the price of these fragrances, I would expect more overall.

Absolutely impeccable. The ingredients are Tier 1, it shows. There are so many fragrances from this house I would love to try.

Basically like Rose d'Arabie (with a more prominent oud [fake?] maybe) / More Than Words type of frag. Fruity oud.
