Pearl Moon

With hundreds of releases, its no surprise that some Boadicea offerings feel like an homage to existing dna's. That isn't the case with Pearl Moon though, which is a unique and distinctive creation that deserves attention. Pearl Moon opens with a dazzling sour and tart almost green pineapple and cardamom heavy spice fusion that I've not experienced in any perfume, its mouthwatering despite not coming across as gourmand. The open is attention grabbing and refreshing, though not exactly fresh, and soon starts blending into the thick and intense mid of fruity rose and dense plum, almost prune like in consistency. The mid is opulent and rich and quite a contrast from the refreshing open. Its balanced by a buttery soft suede and light oud base that is mostly clean and vibrant, with a dash of vanilla sweetness, creamy sandalwood, and aspects of the refreshing open remaining through the life of the wear. Like an actual pearl, this fragrance has a luster that changes often and always captivates.

When I first got this I hated this so much I wanted to return this. But the moment I left my house I got complimented by my neighbour and colleague. It’s one of my favorites now. It opens up slightly fresh fruity and cardamom, and I hate cardamom. But it quickly transforms and I can’t explain but the only words I can use to describe is masculine. It’s a compliment getter for sure.

The beginning was a bit harsh, but after 5 minutes WOW!, I don't know how to explain this, but it's insanely nice, luxurious rich man's scent, smells like a nice boss who is down to earth. Smells like a man who knows how to negotiate, if you want to impress your negotiator then this is the right scent to have on such an occasion

Did my homework about this one, long story short I got curious about the Pineapple and Plum notes. Opens up with 15 minutes of solid a bit dark spices after which it turns into this special corner in heaven. I'm not sure if that's my encounter reaction to the house, or to this particular release but that's what I'm getting, eyes open or shut, indoors and outdoors. The fruits and sweet aspects are so well balanced and kept in a somber enough situation so it makes one that isn't interested in fruity and sweets rn luv it. Not distinguishing too many notes so far, it's a joyful trip, a very abundant scent, it's a sublime uplifter. Was looking for the right Plum note before, found it in Black II, it's good, but this r here is a different 'can't get enough of it' situation. Because darkened a bit by this type of Oud and the base notes, like the Alchemist's Garden type, it's quite incredibly appetizing. Understood the price point on the Gucci's Alchemist's Garden pieces, understand the price point on Pearl Moon, no question. Longevity for sure, the cap dry down on this will stay on your mind and not let you be until you purchase. I'm about to apply it on the office chair, since I pretty much found what I was looking for and gave up on looking for it too. To me this was a bar raiser today, same thing that happened with Isola Blu, like in the oposite part of the spectrum.

I feel an antagonistic but harmonious opening... at the same time, lightly spiced, warm by cardamom with cinnamon and turmeric, and fresh juicy fruity, sweetened by the mix of pineapple with plum and the freshness of rose. And already blending in a very pleasant way the softness of a very comfortable suede; with a good hint of a slightly smoky animalic quality 'oud, with a delicate dusty rose from patchouli and vetiver. It continues to transition to a masterfully ambery woody creamy base of this exquisite fragrance. Although it does not have much originality, it is a Delicious Refined Fragrance! Amber Fruity Spicy Woody Perfume!

Sweet thick red velvet... This is as far as i know is from the Qatar collection, which i believe the notes and the comb allures Qatari people with that pineapple, sweet red velvet, & a touch of milky honey plums. cinnamon, saffron, and sandalwood are there to add an oriental touch within an Arabian Gulf frame. This one and "Nuit et Doha" by Stephane Humber Lucas describes the nights in Doha but "Pearl Moon" has more crispy caramel. Nice.

Darker fruit opening, majestic, leans masculine, nothing sweet, not a red fruity, almost no pineapple, it's a thick quality plum jam. Busy, tiers and not all over the place. Stays all burgundy with a firm spectacular to it, that's brightened up out of fine fusion of many non sweet notes touches.
