Torero

I spent time over some weeks trying to find a good way to describe this since I felt it deserved a review, its definitely unlike anything I've tried before and thus was difficult to review but here goes.. This is like red berries and a bunch of citrus notes swirled together in the finest champagne on the market, made into a very uplifting, positive luxury scent. it sort of has this effervescent way to it. The opening is quite possibly the best of all time from my fragrance journey. This was a love at first sniff for me. Considering this bottle features the Ox I was expecting a super masculine fragrance and you might too but this is perfectly unisex to my nose. I noticed when trying this in both hot and cold weather that in hotter weather it brings out the 'fruity' aspects of the fragrance more, you can tell its the same fragrance but its a lot brighter in hotter weather, I think this is because the nutmeg is less present. Overall this is one of my all-time favourite scents, its interesting, classy, versatile... basically it checks all the boxes it needs to. This fragrance definitely doesn't get the recognition it deserves from the fragrance community. I really hope to add this to my collection one day. Edit: 04/01/2025 As of today its returned to the website as a "get it before its gone" so this is sadly confirmed as being discontinued. I've purchased a backup bottle since its one of my all time favorites.

This isn't a much talked about fragrance and from the name Torero I had also assumed (like the reviewer below) that this would be like Dior's vintage Leather oud, very masculine leathery cumin sort of fragrance. But this is like citrus, rose and mildly woodsy fragrance with a beautiful bubbly, effervescent sort of champagne vibe. I could smell the initial blast of rose, citrus notes etc separately and thought of this as a high end designer scent. But the champagne is the game changer here and adds a great deal to the overall effect of the fragrance. Rose is neither very opulent nor dominating and once the top burns off rose gets sidelined by citrus notes and the accompanying champagne. A unique & sober scent. Do try a sample.

This is the type of fragrance you wear for a celebration, therefore it works anytime, anywhere! Preferably during celebrations, feasts, and festivals. The way it smells like champagne just makes me think of celebrations! It’s fresh and sweet and perfect for summer, yet red like sangria, lending it a cheery Christmas vibe to it as well. Fresh, juicy, red, effervescent, potent, and distinct. Certainly this will attract a lot of attention

Breathtaking aromatic floral scent that drowns you in a field of blooming flowers. The scent has a brief opening with a a variety of citruses and other fruits before heading to the dense floral heart of rose, jasmine, and heliotrope. It settles on a powdery base of cedar, vetiver, amber, vanilla, guaiac and synthetic musk. The slight feminine leaning scent has strong sillage and lasts forever. The price of the scent is a bit absurd but it is mostly for the detailed gold plated pewter bottle it comes in. Enjoy!

Refined version of Dom Rosa. Actually I would prefer this over Dom rosa but the price tag is ridiculous.
