Violet Sapphire

This fragrance is my "Holy Grail"... This fragrance is out of the univers! My minde is in heaven when I'm useing my sample... Becouse I only have a few sample of it... becouse it's sooo expencive... 😵 This is realy a heavenly scent but still too expencive... I understand it has an expencive ingredient like Cambodian Oud and this is a rare ingredient in perfumes and rarely used well... but still other companies can sell there fragrances with this ingredient a much more reasonable price! This only a game where it depends on "how much skin you have in your face" to sell your fragrance for 745€... :( If it would be half of the price I would definitely buy it! Or if they had a 50ml size... don't understand why they don't have a 50ml size?! (But still I can't stop thinking about it!) But the scent: I don't realy understand the recomended "reminde me of" section... non of the mentiond fragrances resembles this one! (Except the one I mentioned :D, Hedonist Rose Absolute, and the similarity only becouse of the oud. They has that sweet oud vibe!) This fragrance realy have a "fresh" sweet fruty kinde of vibe, with passion fruit and juicy peach but it also has a vibe what I can't describe realy well, but it remindes me of "a bunch of fruits that started to rot, but still not in a phrase where it starts to stink", maybe they started to ferment sweetly. Not exactly but somehow this is the closest thing in my minde. And I'm in love with this fragrance! The best of the best!!!

'Violet Sapphire' is the definition of beast-mode beauty. To put it briefly this is a more complex Erba Pura / Amber Gold Al Haramain with a masterfully blended oud note in the background. It's sweet, fruity, refreshing like chilled fruits (raspberry sorbet is a perfect description) but then I get this really tart, youthful fresh rose with softly-bitter oud. The oud in this isn't skanky, synthetic or barnyardy, but it's quite bitter in the most appealing way possible. In absolute harmony with the chilled fruit accords and florals. It's not a shy oud, it goes toe-to-toe with the rest of the notes in the dry-down. 'Violet Sapphire' morphs slightly as it develops with a harmonious balance of oud, fruits and florals (mostly rose on me). I am really in love with this one, I didn't imagine the 'Erba Pura' DNA could be taken to this level. It's several steps above. Highly recommend trying this out. P.S. A less sweet & not-so-fruity clone of this scent is 'Al Dur Al Maknoon Lulu Al Abyedh' by Lattafa. Not in the database for some reason but in the same ball park as 'Violet Sapphire'

This is very similar to Erba Pura but on the next level without this synthetic musk and more natural smelling. However on the dry down it’s completely different, it’s more woody and floral and fruits take the back seat but they will be present till the end. 10+ hours longevity with strong projection not like Erba but at least you won’t cause headache to people around you. Cannot write nothing wrong about this creation because it checks all the boxes even the price is justified. If you like fruity fragrances this is a must, also for people who hate syntheticess of Kirke or Erba. 10/10

Gorgeous! Refreshing burst of rich passionfruit with a discernible ozonic body that slowly deflates. The fruity top remains pronounced with strong longevity and eventually dries down to a creamier woody base. The scent is extremely likeable and noticeable. Violet Sapphire is truly a gem to be desired.

a stunning choice for anyone who appreciates fruity oud compositions. It opens with a vibrant, almost sparkling burst of raspberry, passionfruit, and peach, juicy and inviting. While I don’t pick up much in the way of violet leaf, and the peach leans slightly overripe at first, this phase is fleeting and quickly settles. As it develops, the fragrance transitions gracefully into a floral heart. On my skin, rose takes center stage, accompanied by a soft, refined oud. The oud here is beautifully restrained, smooth, elegant, and far removed from barnyard. The dry down reveals a warm, woody amber base with a subtle touch of musk, adding depth and sophistication. Performance wise, this is truly beast mode, exceptional longevity and strong projection, so a light hand is definitely advised. I wouldn’t consider this a take on Erba Pura (which I personally don’t enjoy). Violet Sapphire feels far more polished and refined. If you can look past the eye watering price tag, this is a worthy investment, and, in my opinion, a superior alternative.

Nose piercing opening featuring raspberry. If you would let that sharp opening by then you’d miss the raspberry. Except for the super sharp opening, the fruits were rather natural smelling. I got raspberry, passion fruit, melon and a bit of peach. The oud that came following was not too strong. The blend was about right, making the scent pleasing to the nose, though light and not projecting much. I didn’t get the violet leaves and other floral notes, unfortunately. The fruity nature of this scent makes it rather easy to find similarities in many other fruity perfumes as well as other body care products like shampoo and such, so I won’t bother going into which this perfume reminds me of. But I can say that though the scent profile might be commonly found, this is made up for in quality. But is it worth the price is all up to you.

This perfume is ok but definitely nothing worth the price. It smells so much along the lines of Erba Pura and all the Tiziana Terenzi but those are much cheaper(not cheap). I honestly like it but nothing special to me. Have a sample but will not be buying a full bottle. It had a very weird opening to me. Might be the Oud. Very barnyard like to me mixed with a fruit smell.

This is a short review of the Fragrance World Violet Sapphire fragrance. It's basically another Erba Pura inspire. Not sure what the Boadicea is supposed to smell like. The FW fragrance has a really dirty musk in it that destroys it for me. I don't really get much of the fruits off the top.

In every aspect of my life, I am known as “Mr. Analogy”. I believe that properly placed parallels have the power to paint a picture that nothing can on its own. This review of BTVs Violet Sapphire will perhaps be my most bold use of parallels yet. As this is the 3rd of the many “Sapphires” BTV does, my brain can’t help but draw a profound connection to Jacob and Co’s Astronomia line of timepieces. In part, I’m sure it’s the use of a globe-like sapphire crystal. BTV “sapphires” by comparison have all been ozonic and just as attention grabbing. In another part, the consistency/DNA of the line remains, but the story of each timepiece tells something different. By comparison, each BTV Sapphire has something that sets it apart. They also share the fact that once you've seen/smelled one of each respective collection, you’ll never forget it. With the fragrances, this factor allows me to view each one as not merely a flanker. In a way, they represent more of a “twist” on a particular DNA. As this one opens, the unmistakable ozonic edge that I mentally noted from Aqua Sapphire and Blue Sapphire prevailed. With a bit more of the fruits and florals right away, this held true to its name and pigmented the pastel purple in my mental image. White florals and musk contribute heavily to the “edge”. As it unfolds, violet leaves keep it fresh. As I perceive it, the pastel nature comes from a cashmere wood that keeps it just powdery enough. A crystal amber enriches the florals and tones the oud. Of the 8 BTVs I have tried, the “sapphires” have all had a “rambunctiousness” that I believe will push off most people’s skin well. I rarely speak of performance as the wearer is always the final ingredient, but these should perform well on a vast array of chemistries.

Sophistication has never felt as indulgent as it does in Violet Sapphire by Boadicea The Victorious, a scent of such delightful fruity character that could only be compared to the apple that led Adam & Eve into temptation at the Garden of Eden. Built upon the contrast of a supremely savory raspberry sorbet accord, gourmand floral notes and a dark, earthy base of Cambodian Oud, musk and sandalwood, so luscious and mouthwatering that you might be inclined to break a few rules as well. Violet Sapphire is lusciously coated in sweetness and deeply intoxicating, like succulent fruits growing in the gardens of magical fairytale landscapes. I strongly recommend this masterpiece to those looking into a highly aphrodisiac perfume. Trust and believe, you will get noticed every time, everywhere.

I have a dupe of this by Fragrance World - not sure how they are able to give it the same name Violet Sapphire. I can't compare the two because I didn't even know about this fragrance til I found the dupe and I haven't tried this.The FW version is not yet on here but notes look identical. It smells like a salon fruit cocktail shampoo and I actually really like it. Its refreshing and probably going to be even more so in Summertime. Would love to get a sample of this to compare because the dupe is less than £17! It has an overripe melon scent in the first spritz moment but I get that with another passion fruit scent that I own and I enjoy it. Maybe not everyone would.

What an incredible, talented perfumer Christian Provenzano is. This is decidedly femme though a man would able to pull this off. Fruits and florals in the beginning and in deep dry down turns soft, incense woodsy notes with faint floral fruity notes in the background. Exceptionally good fragrance. After 4/5 hours it becomes a heavnly mix of florals, fruits and incense oud. And the oud used is so good here that it feels like an oud chip is burning slowly. Like all Sapphires this one is also excellent.

Another overpriced boadicea but the best in the sapphire collection to me amazing scent tons of compliments remind me of erba pura by xerjoff but a lot smoother and better blended

Blackcurrant, syrupy red berries, white musk, apple and a screechy, metallic amber. Undoubtedly their take on the beaten-to-death Erba formula. I resent Erba and I resent this.

This is really good and very unisex the longevity is very very good 👍
