Emma

Emma is from a lineup of fragrances by Bodibreze, and each fragrance has a unique vibe to suit your personality, ranging from girly romantic (Phoebe), stylish Jetsetter (Edith), classy and mysterious (Leona), outdoor and nature (Alice), sunny holiday (Soleil) and lastly bookish and intelligent (Emma). Emma does evoke the feel of a library, museum or an art gallery (the typical haunt of the smart, analytical girl) with its woody and smoky profile. It makes you think of the smooth, polished furnitures of a lecture hall or a even bookshelf. It is tempered with the softness of violets to give it a smooth, feminine edge. If you love woody fragrances with a feminine touch like Serge Luten's Feminite du Bois, you would love this. In fact this feels like FdB's softer, more powdery sister. I have both and they smell pretty similar at first spray, but FdB does lean a wee bit frutier and sweeter than Emma as it dries down. Lasting power is decent enough, about 5-6 hours with 4 sprays and the sillage is about an arm's length. Consider layering it with the matching body lotion to enhance its longevity. Overall, it's a great, niche quality fragrance at a very affordable price. I can't wait to try the others from this brand 🤗

When the perfume is freshly sprayed onto skin, it has this almost citrusy woody vibes, (almost smell like lattafa mussamam white intense) and dries down to a nice, soft, comforting smell of floral from violet leaves, incense, guaiac and sandalwood. While the brand and some people claim this perfume smells like an old vintage bookshop/library, which I agree, but I personally would claim this perfume leans more to a smell of "I just got out from church" from the incense note.

Emma.... This perfume smells like one of those oud-ish perfumes you usually smell. Modern, but middle east alike. It is slightly smoky, earthy, like descriptions, you smell like browsing through old thick archived books in the library, smells old money, but classy.
