Cupcake Swirl

I have looked far and wide for this fragrance locally- for months. It eluded me until last week. I was out, going to visit my mother in law. We stopped in the closest Dollar General before we got to her house. We were picking up snacks and a drink. I perused the Easter aisle before making my way towards the checkout. My husband was looking at the impulse buy section, so I turned around and eyed the beauty section for no particular reason. I turned the corner and there it was in all its cupcake, cheap body mist glory. Cupcake Swirl in a mini 3.2 fl oz bottle. It was the only one, displayed between Pink Vanilla Kiss and Cotton Candy. I didn't hesitate. I grabbed it and practically ran to checkout- my carbonated coke be damned. It seemed like hours waiting for everything to be scanned and bagged. The machine spent 3 light-years processing the payment. Finally, the cashier handed over a receipt, and I was out the door before he could say have a great day. Oh, but what a great day it was. In my excitement, I hadn't even bothered to smell or test the spray. A little dumb? Maybe but that's life. As I reached the car and sat in the passenger seat, I searched the bag with one hand while putting on my seatbelt with the other. Once my hand enclosed around the curved, plastic bottle, I dropped the rest of the bag. My husband made it to the car as I pulled the cap off. He was indifferent and started the car as usual. Once that first spray hit my nose, I was hooked. There was no going back. I would need this forever and always. No matter what. $3.75 is a small price to pay for heaven. This is sweet. So wonderfully sweet. It is a cupcake, vanilla and buttery, topped with buttercream so rich and creamy, you almost forget that it's sugar. Of course, it is sugar- LOTS of it. There is a slight spice, but it is not spicy. The spices are purely there to give the cupcake dimension and to justify the $8 for one cupcake price tag. This is heavily sugared and incredibly rich. However, it has a light, airy quality as well. I sprayed my clothes about four times, and I could still smell it hours later. My mother in law asked if I brought a cake with me. Amazing for the price point. I would easily pay the devil if he could find me another bottle. (Or you if you'd like to get rid of one.) I'll be looking for this repeatedly until I die.

This is my new obsession within my collection I’m officially an addict for this scent and will be buying a lifetime supply in this fragrance as I just can’t be without it now. I feel like such a lucky girl since my local Walmart started carrying the 8oz bottles of cupcake swirl in store so as soon as I saw it I had to grab it, I’m kicking myself for only grabbing one bottle but I was worried that the coconut note would be overpowering but I’m happy to report that that’s not the case for me, I still smell it but it’s not overtaking the fragrance as I personally hate when that happens. The lasting power on this butterry, sweet, and lightly spiced beauty has me shocked, it’s longer lasting than most of what B&BWs has put out this year alone. This one is a must try for my gourmand girlies out there, I’m on my way back to Walmart as I type this for more.

🫧 this smells like a cookie. like a buttercream cookie with coconut shavings on top , it definitely smells buttery. i just went into dollar general like 5 minutes ago and tried this and it is SO sweet i was shocked. 🫧 it’s still really loud on me, but i’ll update after maybe 20-30 minutes. it smells very gourmand, and i’m a gourmand girlie so i love it. it’s SUPER sweet though. i also smell a little spice. i kinda regret not buying it!! 🫶🏾 🫧 EDIT: 25 minutes after spraying it on. still strong on me, still loud, i’m pleased!! dollar general only had 3 left so i need to run and get on quick. they were only $3 too!! idk why but body fantasies perfumes last a while and for the price it is it’s actually shocking. i love body fantasies so much.

Can't believe I've found this perfume after 3 years !! I'm literally so happy that I've waited (I was about to buy 3 for 100€ and more from ebay 2 years ago), this would've be crazy tbh. Cupcake Swirl is a fantastic cheapie which smells like buttercream with a touch of spices (the clove). I was scared but did not mind having this clove note as it was literally my dream body mist. I also really get a very fluffy vanilla, the clove note is not disturbing at all, it enhance the scent of a cupcake ! also, it's barely present. What a perfect and cute cupcake fragrance !! Anyway, I feel so lucky right now and I'm so proud of my find :)

This is an incredible bakery gourmand scent, but like so many Body Fantasies special scents, damn hard to find. It smells like a vanilla cupcake with tons of super-sweet buttercream frosting, and just a touch of spice. This is spicier than the discontinued Bodycology Vanilla Cupcake (another personal fave), and smells mostly like the discontinued Body Fantasies Iced Cupcake. My guy says it's amazingly sexy. While you do have to over apply to get decent sillage, it lasts longer than many Body Fantasies sprays.
