Watermelon Splash

This is a simple, linear watermelon scent. Kind of like Watermelon Lemonade without the cat pee note I can't unsmell after seeing someone else on here point it out. It reminds me of something I would've doused myself in in my early teens, and I still want to douse myself in it because it is delicious. The body spray and lotion both smell equally awesome!

I got a LOT of this on me, because the bottle up front at Walmart was leaky. I removed the cap to sniff it, and it wet all over - 'Oh, ok. Guess I'm wearing this now!' It's not surprising, because Bodycology stuff has leaked occasionally before when my girls have owned bottles. (You might say this has no place in a review, but I say it totally does, and people should be aware that these bottles are junky!) When doused in this though, I find it oddly pleasant. I dislike artificial grape and cherry as notes, but admittedly I'm kind of a fan of synthetic smelling watermelon (not that there's real watermelon in fragrance anyway, but you get what I mean). It's like candy or juice, but this has enough tartness to keep it fresh and away from risk of becoming cloying. You know...this is actually dang decent! Really, there's not much to say about this, it's very simplistic. The name sums it up well, as it's a *splash* of watermelon. Longevity is so-so, but it's absolutely worth the money and it's really refreshing. 🍉💦

I really like this perfume. It does smell like watermelon and the good kind at that. It’s not overwhelming or fake at all. Just fresh and sweet. The only downside is that it doesn’t last. Like at all. You have maybe a good five minutes. But it fades so so quickly. Which I’ve heard tends to be a problem with other buyers but it’s still amazing. I got for a great price too so I guess it was worth only being 5 dollars.

I love this and layer with Escada-Sorbetto Rosso! Aquatic, charming and a bit sweet!

The best 4$ you'll spend if you like watermelon. It's long lasting and awesome

It smells like watermelon candy, but it is a very weak smell that doesn't last at all.

Let me preface by saying I'm not someone who turns their nose up at an affordable fragrance, I actually loooove a good deal and some of my favorite ones are under $50. AND I absolutely adore the Bodycology bodycare (lotions, body washes, scrubs, etc.). This review is based on my genuine opinion and not some snobby notion that I'm above cheapies. I knew when I purchased this that it wasn't going to knock my socks off. But, even with my low expectations, it still managed to be a disappointment. It smells like water with a hint of melon, but not watermelon. Sooo boring and has no lasting power or projection (which isn't a huge deal to me, because I don't want to smell like this lol). I can usually find a use for a frag I don't love, like to boost another fragrance or freshen up my car, but not with this.

I picked this up the other day in the body cream I also got the peach one. I didn't need more body sprays. I just wanted a cheery warm weather scented lotion for when I just want simple and fruity. I was trying to figure out what to spray on after shower with the Watermelon Splash lotion so I used a mini dupe body spray of Be Delicious (another one of my warm weather trial thingy pick up products.) I thought I might like BD as a freshie but maybe not as a FB purchase for the few hot days we actually get because I have enough of that already. My try out combo was okay. I like watermelon. The mister said, "you smell good!" I said "yeah? Like fruit salad maybe?" Then the next morning I grabbed the same t-shirt to throw on and the left over scent was so luscious that I kept burying my nose in my shirt to get a hit of it. Sometimes layering really turns out to be a good thing. I'm going to try it again. Years ago I remember wearing a B&BW lotion that I layered with something else and everyone I worked with kept saying "wow you smell good!" Go figure!

Sweet & aquatic watermelon. I got the lotion to pair with watermelon mojito from B&BW. They smell extremely similar. Score! 🍉
