B Bogner Woman

24. may 2012 First impression. I am really really dissapointed with this one. This incredibly pricey fragrance is sooo generic and i can ́t find nothing special about it. Starts as overwhelming tonka bean with some flower accords, then later turns into rhubarb, very watery and shallow and later becomes lightly citrusy. Not very much of the pleasure of wearing it. Opening is bitter and sharp, middle notes are really watery and drydown is very mild and shallow. Low sillage and weak lasting power. I will try to wear it tomorrow again, then maybe i will write a better review, but this Bogner has really let me down (just like the "Snow" as well). I was expecting something oriental and spicy, more on a heavy side ( i know it says different things in description, but it is "Hantel" after all :) Now i am not sure if i want to try all the laterst Bogners as well. The insane price and quality of this fragrance are just not intact. P.S. It is also available in 100ml (the one i have) and 50ml, not only in 30ml. Update: (28. may 2012) Sadly i still can ́t feel exciting about this scent even after wearing it several times. This is floral-fruity indeed, not the best of them. But most of all this is a pure and overwhelming tonka bean scent. Most of the time i can only smell this note and mostly nothing else. Very onesided and plus quite weak sillage and lasting power (fades away after 2-3hrs) on my skin. On my clothes it stays on much longer but even on my hair it doesn ́t last, like many others do. I also have a shower gel wich i bought as a gift set with a fragrance and surprisingly shower gel smells like dust, when applied onto skin in th shower. This must be the worst smelling shower gel i have ever tried in my whole life. If you keep it for a while on your skin, then a fair scent of floral-fruitness becomes more dominant, but still very weak. So people, take my advice, don ́t spend that money on this unremarkable fragrance and not to mention the shower gel. Sorry Bogner, but this one has let me really down. Big NO from me, even if i didn ́t want to make this verdict.Please try harder next time to create soemthing more remarkable. Please do not remove this comment, since others might find it useful. 04.february 2015 Ok, never say never! I managed to get involved into this fragrance in the end. It was a long hate relationship, which didn ́t work out in the beginning, but i wanted to get to know this perfume better and i managed to do that. I have figured it out, that this fragrance requires a specail mood and weather conditions. I use it now during spring and autumn, when the air is clear and it is neither warm nor cold, but tends more to the colder type of the weather and that ́s when it smells fantastic. It smells fragile and delicate, not dusty, not bad. It still has a very strong tonka bean accord, but the rhubarb and yuzu, make it smel more airy and watery. That ́s what i like about this scent now. And when you wear it during this particular weather it doesn ́t smell dusty at all, unlike during colder or warmer time of the year. Now it is my "neutral" tone perfume and actually the sillage and lasting power is much better during thattime as well! Glad i decided to keep this one and even got me some back up. :) Still i cannot justify the insane prices they ask for it! No way honeys!
