Wet Cherry Liquor

I was put off by the tonka beans note in Wet Cherry Liquor, but after wearing it for a couple of times, I was more receptive of it. The tonka beans in here is soft and sweet, not scratchy like in other fragrances. WCL starts off fruity with the cherry and a nice and moderate dose of liquor; it's not too alcoholic in my opinion. WCL makes me feel girly, sexy, youthful yet grown up. It makes me want to dress up nicely and go hangout with a drink at a rooftop bar on a cool summer night. I do think that is this more fitting for night time wear, but day time is just as good for me. The cherry note is not at all medicinal to me; just the right amount of fruity and sweetness. I started testing this in the late spring early summer, and I think it goes very well with these seasons. The booziness though will probably do well in the fall and winter; however, I will still need to see how it fares out in the cooler and colder months. The sillage is great. It probably radiates within 6 feet. When I walk by someone, they can definitely get a whip of WCL. Longevity is amazing!! It lasts for sooo long. More than 6 hours on just 4 sprays, and for sure much longer if I go heavy handed with it. I took a shower without washing my hair, and I can still smell the fragrance on my neck when I move my hair after more than 12 hours. WCL is a little similar to Cherry Amaretto by Strangers Pafumerie in terms of the sweetness. The cherry note in CA is a little more tart since it is maraschino cherries, but still very beautiful and playful. CA is less sexy imo, and I think if you have WCL you don't need CA. WCL is not at all like Vicebomb though. Vicebomb has a heavier dose of caramel that takes over after the cherry note goes away, and it doesn't have that tonka beans sweetness in it. Vicebom reminds me a lot of Love Don't be Shy, and Oriana without the citrus note. WCL is so good, so gourmand, so sexy and warm. This might be the signature I've been looking for.

I blind brought this as a sampler and initially was going to throw it straight in the bin as it immediately hits you with the liquor note, although it came across more like nail polish remover mixed with cherry tangfastics to me. Pros: As soon as its given a few seconds to settle on the skin, it balances into the most balanced cherry scent I've come across so far. The strawberry is really noticeable and mellows out the "tangfastic"ness of the cherry, the caramel combined makes it a really sweet perfume that is then backed by the rose and vanilla to level out into a really comforting scent that would be just at home at dinner in a fancy restaurant, as it would be to a family BBQ or going to work. Cons: This perfume doesn't last long, I can't imagine - considering the top notes lasted less than 5mins and the tonka bean/vanilla came through within a few minutes of that. There is practically no sillage on this either, I have to bring my wrist right to my nose to smell it but with the way it smells, I'd wear it in any weather and any time of day. It's a perfume for you.

Cherry candy at first. Turns syrupy and alcoholic after a few minutes. Medicinally addictive. This is what I get without looking at the notes. After sampling for a few times and looking at the pyramid I would say... Take a saucepan and heat 1 cup of caramel...gradually add 1 cup of amarena syrup while stirring vigorously...as the sauce boils add 1/2 a cup of strawberry jam and stir it lightly. Lower the heat and add a splash of liquor, remove it from the heat source and let it cool for a few minutes. Prepare the cups with the vanilla ice cream and pour your warm sauce over each cup. Serve right away. Longevity is good, projection is moderate. Overall fun and sexy. A safe compliment getter as well as unisex. It is one of the best cherries out there.

This is nice!....some people have said it smells like candied cherries and that is what I get too. Its a mix of maraschino cherries mixed with the Tom Ford Lost Cherry vibe. I blind bought this and I am happy with my purchase. This is def not a dupe for TF Lost Cherry, but I think they would pair nice with each other. TF tends to lose the cherry scent after a short while, and Wet Cherry Liquor so far has remained a strong cherry scent on my skin. So I think spraying WCL would add that little extra cherry punch while wearing TF Lost Cherry. So far it does sit close to the skin, so I would suggest a heavy spray of it though it's maraschino red and people have said it stains, so I would not suggest putting in on your clothes.

This turned out to be a really lovely surprise, especially as I have tested MANY cherries at this point! Bright maraschino cherry and soft booziness up top, quickly rounding into a smooth, grown-up cherry gourmand that’s warm, elegant and not at all cough-syrupy. On my skin it stays beautifully balanced — sweet but not sticky, fruity but not childish. Longevity is moderate (especially with wrist-only sprays), but it wears like a soft, inviting cloud rather than a powerhouse. A very, very wearable, adult cherry that’s easy to love — just don’t expect beast mode. Definitely sample-worthy, and a strong candidate for cherry lovers who want something refined - Full bottle on the way for me! 😊

This smells exactly like the name, with a boozy opening over mouth-watering sweet cherry. After about 8 hours the cherry disappears and leaves a pleasant skin scent, with the tonka and woody notes most prominent. I was catching whiffs of this for 7-8 hours after applying. I was worried that it would be too alcoholic, as when I initially sprayed it on tester paper I got a blast of strong alcohol that stayed for hours, but on skin it’s a perfect balance. Definitely more of a winter fragrance that caters to a younger audience (maybe 16-25) due to how sweet it is. Smells more feminine than other unisex fragrances but I rocked it as a man - it’s just down to personal preference.

After all my efforts to tame any of the Tom Ford's cherries, after pretending to even attempt to like BTSO version, after investing in leathery Room 1015's bottle and finding it underwhelming, after foolishly succumbing into belief that Maison Alhambra will perform, despite every ounce of my rational mind telling me otherwise... I've found it. THE cherry to rule 'em all. Strong, dark, boozy, sour even, clings to my clothes like crazy. And - the most bizarre thing - the initial cherry note is super consistent and doesn't seem to fade. This is a true cherry beast, easily outperforming best on the market. I'm in the deepest awe and need me a full bottle asap.

This is so reminiscent of People of the Labyrinths Luctor et Emergo for me. It's all the boozy, spicy cherry with none of the violin rosin. POTL's classy, successful daughter, earning fame in her own right. I can't get so much as a hint of cough syrup, thank goodness. Even the boozy feel is anything but medicinal. It's warm, sexy, and a unique scent. Bound to be unforgettable, and possibly even reach that iconic cult status. I own Lost Cherry, and while this has come of the same aspects, it's absolutely worth it to own both. Lost Cherry is heavier, tobacco-y, and sweet. Wet Cherry Liqueur is a spicy Digestif. Perfect preparation for a wild evening.

I hate cherry scents, and in the first few minutes of this fragrance opening, it's straight cherry. It almost smells like red wine in a pleasant way. After you give this 5ish minutes, it turns into my favorite winter fragrance of all time. Sweet tart cherry with creamy smooth vanilla that backs it up. Usually in cherry fragrances, the cherry overpowers everything else, but this is not the case. 10/10, possibly my favorite winter fragrance of all time. The longevity and projection are great for me, giving me like 7-8 hours and projecting heavily for like 3 of them. I will re buy this no matter the price.

It smells probably exactly as you assume it smells. The name, the bottle... it’s wet cherry liquor indeed. I find it quite linear. Felt sexy wearing this. It’s gourmandy for sure. I don’t know Lost Cherry by Tom Ford very well, I just tested it in perfumery. Soooo... I can tell nothing about projection, longevity etc. but what I can tell is that first blast is super similar to BOHOBOCO 🍒 And also.. it’s a side note but I am not sure if colouring juice is a good idea. Yeah, it looks great but it just leave stains on the clothes and skin. The other BOHOBOCO perfume, Wild Carrot Oud, do it as well.

One of the most beautiful cherry scents I've tried! I bought a bottle immediately, and that’s coming from someone who typically isn’t a fan of cherry fragrances. It’s sweet, boozy, and beautifully blended, giving off mysterious, sexy mob wife vibes. After the first hour, it becomes less boozy and more floral, with a strawberry sweetness layered over a cherry background and hints of caramel. On my skin, it lasts about 4 to 6 hours, depending on the weather, while on clothes, it can last up to 10 to 12 hours. I rate it as 8/10. I love it so much🍒

This is a well done cherry fragrance that is oh so sexy and chic. The cherry note was prominent throughout the whole time I wore the fragrance, which was about 10 hours. There is some sweetness from the fruit and I can't detect any overbearing synthetic notes, either. Superb longevity. I would buy a FB, but I recently purchased a FB of Duchessa. If I see a good deal on it in the future, I most definitely will add it to my collection.

Lovinggg this. A playful, flirty spin on cherry. The opening has a boozy cherry quality that makes you smile. Because you know you’re going to receive the compliments on this one (the opening reminds me of sour candies dipped in disaranno). I enjoy how the middle notes develop quickly and you get more rose, strawberry, and a hint of caramel. The dry down is cherry & tonka. *Chefs kiss* ~ buying a full bottle.

This doesn’t smell like any other cherry dominant fragrance I’ve tried. It has a heavy dose of liquor, which I shouldn’t find so fascinating considering how much I despise the taste and smell of alcohol, but I can’t stop smelling it!!! It has some quality that just fascinates me. My advice is to give this an honest wear before making a decision. You might just surprise yourself!

For me this is more of a "night" perfume. It's very boozy but in a good way - the cherry smells how the candied red cherries they used to put in alcoholic beverages taste, it's strange but i absolutely love it. It stays on forever, i did not expect that. A kind of perfume perfect for late nights out because of the longevity and the boozy Cherry/Whisky smell.

Gorgeous juicy cherry fragrance, almonds bring a nutty feel that's so gourmand a mouth-watering. Reminiscent of cherry liqueur, although I can see how it could be medicinal for some. Beautifully done to me, I enjoy more than Lost Cherry and just as much as Latte di Cherry (both solid more affordable alternatives to TF)

Purchase a sample of this and I must say this is a gorgeous scent something I would need to buy a big bottle of and add to my fragrance collection I prefer this than TF lost cherry 🍒 This lasted about 10+ hours the projection and longevity on this is insane! One of the best cherry fragrances out there.

Smells like a maraschino cherry drenched in a sweet syrupy liqueur. It’s definitely not a realistic cherry scent if that is what you are looking for, it’s very sweet, almost cloying. That being said I think it smells delicious, perfect for a night out, but not something I’d wear during the day.

was expecting another fake cherry scent but this one surprised me its dark juicy cherry with a nice boozy touch and dries down really smooth and creamy lasted most of the day on me too definitely one of my favorite cherry fragrances ive tried

This is the Real Lost Cherry! Imagine yourself sailing on a huge lush cherry on wavy sea of rum.. or being levitated on a red cherry cloud .. a beautiful and playful fragrance with lots of cherries and booze..

boozy, DEEP cherry that lasts on my clothes for days. definitely more mature than TF lost cherry. a bit woody w/ medium sweetness. perfect for date nights and going out. the scent is very true to its name! 🍒🥃

can barely smell the rose, so yay! probably the most "wearable" unisex booze-y fragrance i have. smells a little synthetic before the drydown but after the drydown, all smells are very realistic.

Incredible opening, it smells how being wine drunk feels like. Very attractive to smell on a person in my opinion, but on my skin it didn't last that much. Smells like juicy cherries and liquor.

I didnt smell LUST CHERRY but it really suits the name: wet /cherry /liquor. Boozy and really good to layer with sth more sweet . i love it !!!

Impressions over time: Initially this smells like unlit cherry candles and perfumery booze, like rum or whiskey-flavored candy, and slightly spicy. Twenty minutes in, there's something a little dirty showing through, like vetiver, and the "booze" sense is still there but less powerful. At an hour, it's quite close to the skin and smells like tart fruit and tonka beans. No caramel or rose for me, a pity. After three hours it's a skin scent, but there's cherry and wood and vanilla, which is very nice. At five hours the dry-down is barely even detectable at skin, but it's got most of the listed notes—cherries, vanilla, tonka, warm woods. This phase is amazing. At six hours the cherry is gone. After that it fades quietly. I don't have TFLC or many cherry perfumes, so I'm evaluating this on its own merits. The beginning isn't great, the midrange is okay, and the base is wonderful, but I don't even know how much you would have to spray for that dry-down to be detectable. Too much. It is a nice cherry in the end, but for me, I think the search continues.

I like this but I definitely agree on the fact it smells like cherry red wine. I was totally impressed by the opening--- here is the strong cherry liquor accord I was longing for! But it slowly turns into red wine and after a moment you even start wondering if you didn't spill wine on yourself. Imo it's still good-smelling wine but as much as I love smelling like food, I don't want myself or other people wondering if I didn't actually spilled wine on myself. Longevity is great, projection starts big and quickly calms down to become mid-level. But do I really want to smell like this...? Honestly it's very linear--- on paper, on skin and (dark!! please don't spray this on light) clothes. I can't see myself wearing it on its own but 150€ for 50ml is way too expensive for a layering scent. Once again, opening is great but after that, it's kind of flat.

At the bar, a bartender slices cherries for cocktails, juice running down her fingers like evidence. I order a cherry sour. First sip. Wet, tart, warming. I sit at the roulette table. Across from me, a woman in red. We don't look at each other because we don't need to. She smells of cherries and something sweet, sticky, that lingers in the air like an alibi. The croupier deals, she adjusts her hair with her left hand. I put everything on red. The ball spins. Cherries at the bottom of her glass sit like drowned secrets. The croupier glances at me a second too long. I win. I stand up, she stays. We don't collect our chips at the same time. That would be too obvious. @the.scent.files

The liquor note starts out strong in the opening, it comes across as a realistic sweet wine to my nose and I really like it. Next is the cherry which is also ultra realistic and beautifully done. The strawberry and caramel in the mid are soft and feminine but still interesting and those notes make this scent more than just a Lost Cherry clone, I actually like this better than Lost Cherry. Unfortunately, I am very sensitive to vetiver, which pulls rubbery on my skin. This is not the worst example of a scent going “rubbery” on me, but it’s still there in the base. I would rate this a 7/10. This is a sensual dark feminine type of fragrance that is a realistic interpretation of cherry liquor. Just sample before you buy if vetiver is challenging to you.

I think I got a wrong sample of this...First spray, I'm getting leather. Maybe that's the liquor? Vetiver? Idk. I'll have to try another sample of this. Okay, 10 minutes in it's mellowing out and I can smell the Strawberry, light Cherry and a lot of Liquor! It's still evolving so will update... This evolved into a beautiful fragrance once some of the booziness calmed down. It's blended well and the caramel, which is not a note I like too much, is just right, bringing it a creamy quality. Longevity is about 4-5 hours on me with the projection & sillage moderate. I could see this in my collection if the price was a little less for the amount of perfume offered. Worth a travel size to keep testing.

The name of the fragrance is very fitting, because I do mainly smell some alcoholic drink and cherry. In that order. As with all cherry fragrances, this will of course be compared to Lost Cherry. There is some similarity, but definitely not the same. I would describe the experiences I get with this fragrance as if I just ate soms strawberry toffees, and with the taste still lingering in my mouth, I am now taking a sip from my glass of strong red wine. Somebody in the same room is wearing Lost Cherry and it all comes together. I personally find the boozy notes too dominant to comfortably wear this. Maybe it just doesn't work on my skin

Very similar vibes to TF Lost Cherry. I own both and I tested them at the same time - they are really close. The main difference is the sandalwood in Bohoboco (the sharp sandalwood note used throughout the line), which I can detect from the start. Lost Cherry is a bit more candy sweet / Cherry Dr Pepper sweet, Wet Cherry is a bit more woodsy. If you want to experiment with a cherry scent at half the price of TF, go for Bohoboco. EDIT: I agree with amyaz above - the heart is a little sour, I believe it's the strawberry - it smells a bit like fruity beer to me, but it doesn't linger.

Update: I tried this again today. The opening is atrocious. The middle and base notes are the shining star here. Once the booze burns off, you are left with a somewhat tropical fruity cherry that brightens up when the strawberry kicks in. —————————————— Now that I have more than a couple cherry perfumes in my collection, I willl say this is very Maraschino heavy in the open. It has stayed on my sweatshirt for 5+ hours. It has gotten better throughout the day but I need to try it in my skin. Be cautious spraying on light clothing as the perfume has a dark color.

It’s a nice, mature cherry liquor scent, but abit thin, the liquor aspect is quite prominent...on the other hand, the ‘thinness’ of the scent makes it wearable on not-so-warm summer evenings. I like the refreshing sour tang in it. I prefer to wear it with Red Wine Brown Sugar than on its own, much more interesting and delicious. Playful, fun and feminine scent for nights out. Moderate sillage and good longevity. I can smell it 7+ hours later though it’s become a skin scent.

Gorgeous cherry top ends up quickly this winter in a vetiver-liquor blend that is unsweetened and serious. I remember it much more cherry, strawberry, tonka bean during autumn. It lasts and projects well and is quite elegant, the whisky-like note reminds me of Angel's Share. Moving it down to like. I am not sure I like it today as it turned unisex. After 10 hours tonka gets the most prominent and the scent finally sweetens.

This is a boozy, sweet juicy cherry fragrance. It's similar to Lost Cherry in that aspect but it's not a dupe imo. I don't get that almond and amaretto from this like I do from Lost Cherry. This is beautiful though and the performance is great. I really enjoy the sweet, woodsy vanilla dry down as well. And I love Bohoboco's bottles!

An extremely boozy cherry fragrance. I can smell the resemblance with TF's Lost Cherry, though WCL has a "thinner" quality to it, is less sweet and has a blast of alcohol in the opening, which gives it its boozy character. Overall, it's a nice scent. Though if you're going for a Lost Cherry dupe, there are more affordable ones.

Yes! The name tells all! The cherry and the liquor and some oud wood. Powerful for a cherry, brought by the liquor and oud vibes. Great if you feel like something strong even if we are talking about cherry. I personaly prefer the cherries of Tom Ford , sweeter and funnier. But this one is beautiful also. More for night.

I find it quite close to Lost Cherry, a liquor juicy cherry. However, the performance (on my skin) is barely 4h, while Lost Cherry is even less - only 2h. Overall nice alternative, but Alexandria or Montagne clones stay much longer on me. The color of the juice is so pretty, but beware that it leaves stains.

I like this scent, especially the strawberry note which seems pretty natural and not overly sweet. I would probably be more excited to add it to my collection except that two other cherry scents have captured my heart: Cherry Punk and Rouge Smoking. I definitely would sample this again in the future.

Extremely boozy to start then wears off to maraschino cherry juice with a hint of red wine. Leagues away from Lost Cherry in terms of sophistication and quality, but a fun wear nonetheless.

Smells like cherry candy, or cherry syrup, same transparent vibe of angels share, off course angels share has higher quality. Just in transparent candy like smell.

Testing blind, I got what I can only describe as a front of hibiscus in the initial opening, with a jammy body, almost viscous. After a bit it becomes more floral, but only underneath the fruit. It's more like some gastric glaze, sweet with a hint of tart, but still fragrant and not overly sweet. Looking at the notes I'm surprised there's no hibiscus. The strawberry cherry blend surely gives me that sense. While most the notes are present the liquor is certainly interpreted as a sweet cherry liquor, not anything more. The longevity is pretty good, leaving a calmer skin scent behind with a dusty rose that still maintains a hint of cherry. It does feel feminine at times given it's notes. If you're a fruit bomb person, this might be your thing, but for me it's too fruity, where a flip (bringing the woods and rose up a bit, and leaving the jam to the background) may have percolated my interest more.

The opening is very boozy and slightly powdery-medicinal, and I quite enjoy those first 30 minutes of pure maraschino liqueur, but then i start smelling a lot of strawberry and red fruits reminding me of Burberry Her not in a great way, way too syrupy and medicinal, and frankly a tad too sweet. Definitely not a realistic cherry, the name is very appropriate. I'm not a fan because about 2hrs in it start smelling kinda cheap to me, maybe it's because it shares some powderiness (which I guess is from the tonka bean, but I feel it as a very distinct almond note) with a Victoria Secret cherry body spray I own. Average lasting power and average sillage.

I expected to love this,i love cherry in fragrances but this fragrance really isnt it. My favorite cherry fragrance is tom ford lost cherry and bdk rouge smoking and i find that theirs barley any similarity to lost cherry despite reviews saying thats its a “dupe”, lc is superior in every way. The cherry here smells way too sour and the strawberry is too prominent,i will say though that the dry down is much better but its still not that great. Thankful i bought a sample to test and not a full bottle cuz this sounds really good on paper

This reminds me more of Rouge Smoking than it does Lost Cherry. It’s RS without that odd menthol note. It’s fine, nothing amazing or groundbreaking to me and save for the cherry it doesn’t remind me of POTL. The strawberry is there but just for a few minutes before it fades and I’m left with a woody, tonka, tobacco-ish cherry.
