Aethereus

I really like it. This is a tangier/sweeter suntan lotion. Better than Virgin island water and cheaper. Day 10 edit: I've gotten comfy with this now. I've determined that the tuberose is making this sweeter than other suntan frags. I can definitely echo that the performance isn't great - you will need a travel atomizer if you want to keep the scent throughout the day. Still digging it - nice scent and unisex. Before you grab for vgw, consider this! 6/10

I love everything coconut related - body lotions, suntan lotions, food containing coconut and the how the coconut itself tastes like - but I have yet to find a perfume with a coconut note in it that could actually work for me. So imagine my anticipation when I opened "Aethereus" this morning to have a proper wear...and it gave me nothing. There is coconut - no doubt, but it's so smothered in your all too sharp citrus that it's almost unbearable. There are no florals for me (and I so love tuberose!) just the citrus&added mild sweetness. The main problem I had with other scents - it felt too foody or too pina colada like (imagine Creed), but here the same thing is too little - I wanted a bit of foody, a bit of tropical gourmandness. I what "Aetherus" gives me? A cleaning product with sharp citruses and a faint scent of coconut. I hoped for a creamy heart due to peru balsam, but for me it felt pushed and too dark together with the coconut, so I was yet again left dissastisfied. "Aetherus" also had such a low sillage! And it lasted mere 5 hours, but that seems a problem only for me not the others. A pity. And my search goes on.

Aethereus is a nice floral scent for warm weather. It leans to feminine scents imo. I get mainly a sweet slightly citrusy coconut with some smooth florals and a mild citrusy-metallic vibe. Other noticeable notes are tuberose, ylang, mild orange, aromatic bergamot without the sourness. The rest notes are very mild. This is not a gourmand. Longevity is high-moderate, anout 6 hours or so. Sillage is moderate, projection is moderate to soft. There's a vibe from Comptoir Sud Pacific house here. It reminds me two scents of this house. Edit It feels like an expensive sun cream lotion with pronounced coconut smell. Sometimes it feels semi-gourmand. Beautiful for women IMO.

این عطر رایحش شبیه بوی یه مارشملوی نارگیلی خوشمزه ست. از اون کارهاست که هدف رو زده با شروعش فکر کردم شاید بصورت اتفاقی با این طعم و بو درومده و منتظر بودم در ادامه به سمت روایح مرکباتی گل دار تغییر مسیر بده. اما نه، انزو گالاردی روی این رایحه "کار" کرده. مثل خیلی از عطرهای تبلیغاتیه دوزاری نیست که فقط 30 ثانیه ابتدایی بوی خوبی دارن و بعد 180 درجه رایحهشون تغییر می کنه. اینجا با گذشت زمان، رایحه از کانسپت عطرساز برای این عطر فاصله نمیگیره. هرچند ممکنه بخاطر شیرینی و خوراکی مانند بودن آن ازش سیر بشید، اما رایحه ای خاص و دوست داشتنی هست.

Citrus (mostly lime), Coconut, and balsamic mixture with a hint of Ylang Ylang and tuberose hand cream. quite interesting and summery love with a night vision glare. I Guess this is the best fragrance of this house.

What can I say about this fragrance....coconut, unique (very), different, dense, thick.....a fragrance that will take time to adjust too....for someone else that is! I was very surprised by this one as one who has 10 other fragrances from this line. I didn't quite expect this to open up this deep and unconventional. Not a blind buy in my opinion. I repeat NOT A BLIND BUY!!! You may want to get a sample of this before deciding on a full bottle. I think Aethereus is a masculine semi-sweet, nutty type of fragrance; not one that I would find in my wardrobe at all! A bitter orange, coconut blossom, and Ylang Ylang opening. There are other notes as well that make this fragrance extremely confusing. Aethereus is one of those fragrances that has A LOT going on; one that I find very hard to navigate. I am not sure where this fragrance wants to go; is it going in the beachy oceanic direction?, it is going in the direction of florals or sweets?...fragrance should not be this exhausting!! Wheww.....I think I need a nap after trying to dissect this one!! Projection was about 30 minutes.. Sillage was about arms length... Longevity was, maybe 6 hours?... Overall, a NOT so nice fragrance. Something I wouldn't want to wear.

Тhanks the good consultant- she gave me some samples of Bois 1920 including Aethereus. The name can be translated from Latin as "heavenly" or even "essential." It seems to me that this perfume has nothing to do with "heaven" , rather something pepper-essential. The first notes of citrus quickly evaporate. And almost to the end there is a war for supremacy between the coconut (here it feels like coconut waffles) and tuberose. On my skin wins the tuberose- such overbearing and rude !!! Unfortunately, I do not like any scent of tuberose, no coconut, and here they are both major IMHO. And do not know how I heard spinose pepper notes ??? Aethereus is the only of the Bois 1920 samples, which I didn't like. When I wearing this perfume it seems to me I feel sense of anxiety and worry, gloomy mood ((((

I really wore it, tried it for the first time today. i decided to wait until summer even though I had it for a few months now. All this because of the coconut. Well,on me it starts like a sweet pineapple and coconut with a hint of citrus, summery and happy and provokes a smile. But very soon it disappears. i like to smell my fragrance all day. I was moving around all day just to try to get whiffs of it but nothing! So from about 8 a.m. it was gone maybe by 11? I reapplied at 4:30, we"ll see what happens. It is an expensive house, in my opinion it should provide more longevity. Or perhaps like Jo Malone, it will be a no-no for me, just not worth it for the few minutes that you get.

Opens with a complex sweet and dry: juicy mandarin, orange sanguine, resins:olibanum, myrrh, frankincense and benzoin , some floral notes to accentuate and balance like Ylang Ylang and gardenia then settles down into a peppery salty lime coconut Monoi Tahiti, just beautiful. This is a scent to cool down your skin after a day on the beach walking at night around the seashore and relaxing with a glass of wine. This is the perfect summer beach scent.

i've liked 90% of all fragrances from bois1920, however this one is that 5% that i just sniffed it once and was like nope... smells like some coconut dessert.

very nice combination of coconut and lime. it's perfect for summer but too hard too find it and buy.
