Come il Sole

I adore this one. I own many by this brand - about 14. I would say that this one and Come la Luna are my favorites. I do own Come L'Amore as well. This one is powdery where that one is not. This one is also sweeter, and I would say is more feminine. I have hundreds of perfumes and I know I will be using this one more than 95% of the others.

Wow, I can't believe there's a perfume that resembles the loved and regretted Sahara Noir so much! Unfortunately, it's also discontinued ... Come il Sole is a light and somehow sweet version of Sahara, maybe easier to wear every day, which has an extra hint of turmeric. Now, from the horse's run, you don't realize the slight difference, unless you know it well and smell it up close. Whoever has it should keep it, whoever doesn't should take it if they find it.

i have this perfume but i am struggling to review it. I love smokey vibes and vanilla, this perfume is one of the few that combines the two. Initially i got Marshmallows or vanilla biscuits lightly scorching on a bonfire? i get no cherry, bergamot or florals (excely very subtle background carnation) the opening is sweet with vanilla but the whole perfume is dominated by all the base notes:balsam styrax and benzoin. The oud is not overly prominent which is a surprise as it usually over projects on my skin. The patchouli supports the whole composition but does not dominate it. I found it fairly linear, with the only development from the tonka overtaking the vanilla. it lasts well over 8 hours with medium projection: which is just as well as it is an acquired taste. The strong benzoin vibe reminded me of Bois d'Armenie Guerlain; but it is sweeter and more easy for me to wear. I will update it after i have worn it a few more times

Exactly like Myrrhe Ardente with a cherry note opening up the fragrance. I already have issues with even the strongest of fragrances not working with me and this is a mere whisper... Smells good for what it is, just doesn;t work with me unfortunately :( Update: This leaves a really nice scent trail! I don't think I gave it enough time and oneself is not the best person to smell on oneself but it is my Mum's signature and I just found her another bottle of the old design (It's now 2024). Men can wear it with ease too as it is pretty genderless.

I haven't seen this ion the Bois 1920 website , I wonder why ? Has anyone actually smelled it, since it has no reviews but plenty of dislikes ?
