Come L'Amore

Applies soapy herbal spice that's warm and alluring. Refined coziness. Lots of high quality depth similar to Tom Ford's exquisite boldness. White floral/lily at the top, but wish it wasn't so shampoo/perfumey even though that doesn't diminish things. Perfect dryness adds structure and class without being overbearing. Too often the dry note overwhelms and I really have to praise its flawless use here. Deeply indolic white floral pairs with warm spicy base gorgeously. Sexy heat is more sensual than romantic. The urge right before action. After trying a lot of masculine florals, this rides the line in the best way...deep and assertive. Spraying on clothes curiously projects the experience of sticking your nose against freshly sliced juicy pear. Realistic pulpy freshness with zero artificiality. After trying some of the best white florals, this ranks at the top due to being so high quality and exquisitely blended. I prefer more jasmine/orange blossom, but can't resist how intoxicating this is. Jo Malone's "Orange Blossom" for example, but that's frustratingly short lived. Reasonable strength and signature scent worthy. Struggling to find a reason it's not bottle worthy...I suppose it can lean a little old fashion, but in an energetic way. It has character and is so likable, I don't mind challenging those preconceptions. 1ST REVIEW: Dense jasmine as mysterious as Alice chasing the white rabbit. Thickly photo-realistic up close while toasted vanilla warmth floats at a distance. Coziness balanced by edge of dry powder, white musk, and faint cedar. One of the best masculine floral scents that is similar to Marissa Zappas ‘Flaming Creature.’ Also has the exquisite comfort of Aedes de Venustas ‘Cierge de Lune.’ Dry down falters, but appealing sweetness ultimately rounds things out.

Come L’Amore is the first scent I feel in love from Bois 1920, nearly two summers ago, when I visited their store in Florence. The thing is that Italian perfumery always gets me... This scent is a celebration of white flowers. Big, bright, intoxicating, beautiful, in full blooms lilies, jasmine, gardenia, freesia, syringa. The white floral bouquet gets some supporting notes of rose, white tea, pink pepper, tangerines, Mirabelle plum, benzoin and cedar! All in one, Come l’Amore is a wonderfully balanced, glorious mix of florals, citrus, tea, pink pepper, benzoin and woods. As a (white) floral lover, I was impressed by the high quality of this white floral scent, because besides the lily, the uncontested star note of this perfume, there is something else in the composition that smells unique to me but addictive and intoxicating. Could be, (absolutely new to me) the syringa flower. I have never met this flower in any perfume I smelled, owned or currently have! This perfume smells like a beautiful sunny and warm morning spring. Starts more dewy and watery but as it gets towards dry down, the benzoin brings out so much warmth that changes it into a warm feeling white floral. The only downside of this is the mediocre performance. It’s such a delicate smell that lingers on clothes for about 6 hours but it sits really close to skin. Therefore, for the performance, I would say it’s a bit overpriced. But for the uniqueness and the gorgeousness of the perfume, it’s very fairly priced. If you’re a lily lover, you should consider getting your nose on this one! Could be a beautiful wedding day scent for a young bride getting married outdoor or in the countryside.

Oh my, this is pure perfection. Heaven made of silky, sweet, juicy white petals. The opening is very, very fruity: there is juicy plum and a burst of sweet tangerines. It smells optimistic, nonchalant, dewy, exotic, very natural. However, the first stage isn't the most beautiful part of the development (thankfully!). After that I start to smell musky powderiness, not heavy, more like a silky veil. And flowers! An exquisite bouquet of jasmine, gardenia and lily. It's just crazy how natural it smells, my first thought was "do we have some flowers in the room??", which is pretty amazing. Smell of natural flowers makes my heart beat faster. There's something slightly earthy underneath (styrax?) which also smells quite natural, and there's white musk of great quality - clean, fluffy, ehm... sexy? And there's a delicious sweetness of benzoin. A great perfume for a bride, or just for your best summer (or any season) dresses. Feminine, but not in an aggressive bimboish way, strong, but not overpowering, long lasting, but not heavy. The sillage is great, people who stood four meters away from me asked if it's me who smelled heavenly ;-) And it was me indeed! :-) Lasts all day long. Strong as a good EDP (although being EDT). Not a limited edition anymore I suppose!

A symphony of white flowers! Definitely feminine , opulent, elegant , classy. Gardenias dominate the concoction, with lilies , jasmine and freesias supporting the gardenia primadonna and adding richness. Although there is no Ylang Ylang mentioned in the notes, there is some combination of notes here that create the distinct smell of Ylang essential oil strongly. The plum and fruits bring a delicate juicy feel but the Parfume is nothing like a fruity floral, it is entirely floral . It smells very tropical and luxurious. The resins bring some sort of honey like viscosity and sweetness . The bottle is rather plain but Bois was never focused on bottle design, but the box presentation is lovely as always . The silage is intoxicating, at least in the beginning. after one hour of so it calmes down. The lasting power is great, Absolutely beautiful. I cannot see this as unisex, it is totally feminine , voluptuous , fulfilled, completed . No mystery left to solve, no unanswered questions, no drama, just happiness . Floral perfection .

It was a blind purchase. The first time I smelled it I loved the start. After a while it was soooo attacky what I thought it was going to be like and I didn't like it at all.... I was disappointed... But as the minutes went by it started a very original sweetness, caramel and floral that made me go crazy with how beautiful it smelled, I fell in love. I actually took a nap and as my hands were close to my face I could smell it and it gave me Peace. The scent lasts for hours and projects so much that my husband, who doesn't usually detect my perfumes, could notice it! I am happy. I like it so much that I put some on before I go to sleep. How would I describe it? White flowers and a floral sweetness, dry down that reminds me of some expensive moisturizer and the final scent is a spectacular baked sugar flower. It's very springtime. It's like after showering I do my skin care while drinking a jasmine tea with caramel.

This reminds me a little of tropical suntan lotion except it's more sophisticated than that. There's a sort of soft woody heart to it that reminds me of bamboo mats in the hot sun The florals are excellent - a really nice fuzzy haze of white flowers without any one flower dominating - (the lily isn't at all soapy, it's more animalic, like a fully bloomed Madonna lily. The general mood is soft, exotic and relaxed, also sensual and velvety in texture with plenty of depth thanks to the warm rounded woody notes of benzoin and styrax. It leans quite sweet for me which makes this more a strong like rather than love (only because I'm not so keen on sweet notes), but it does evoke the idea of sunset and relaxed happiness. Sillage soft to moderate, longevity 6 + hours though it becomes close to skin.

Exquisite, wonderfully balanced, long lasting (but not overpowering) white musky floral. Tender yet sensual, truly feminine and alluring. Lasted more than 10 hours on my skin. Only 1920 bottles produced (mine is #543). Gorgeous! Would be a wonderful blind buy for anyone who loves white floral frags. Recommend!

Right now I feel like this is the most beautiful perfume I own. Powerful yet fine and ethereal flower explosion. Just the absolute faintest amount of sweetness to keep it from being cold. Feminine and romantic to the maximum. High quality and naturalistic. Absolute love.

This is the perfect perfume. Feminine, classic and very distinctive. This is a great quality fragrance definitively worth paying for! Too bad it is a limited edition.

I've finally found a beautiful jasmine that is just perfect for me. It even lasts! Definitely fbw

This is a very nice and sophisticated smelling scent - so feminine and simply stunning! So many notes yet this develops simple and is very easy to enjoy. Crowd pleasing and an easy blind buy for those who enjoy feminine white florals. I hoped for a bit of more oomph! This is stunning, yes, but it lacks some uniqueness for me. "Come l'Amore" translates as "Like love". Well, for one - I'd like my love to be a bit more dramatic and dirty. That said - this is worth a try! Quality is superb - moderate sillage, but lasts for 12+ hours. Blent is masterful, everything just sits together perfectly making this a perfect everyday floral for classy ladies.

it is not the fresh blooming aspect of white flowers that meets the skin but the nectar, honeyed pollens condensed down to the very essence of the flower. Comes across a bit fruity to me as well. Good offering within the white flower genre although to me a bit lacking in character. That is not necessarily a bad thing, I see this is probably more tolerable for people in the environment. I also like how natural it smells compared to designer counterparts. My nr1 within the genre remains Isabey Fleur Nocturne's with its fleshy, thick, slightly animalistic and inviting petals.

Who knew a "simple white floral" can be so exciting? I find this perfume really outstanding because you are expecting something a bit more mild (just based on all the white floral notes) and get an explosion of emotions. I instantly bought a bottle and I consider myself super picky. I think the secret to it is that all the ingredients are from all over the world and it feels really exotic.

I really like this fragrance, it’s a classical take on white florals, mature but not retired. Vintage yet timeless. Clean perfumey floral nectar. It vaguely reminds me of Lancome Poeme, which was one of the first fragrances I truly loved, yet I prefer Come L’Amore as it’s softer and more realistic.

Something about this really reminds me of Nuxe products - I think it’s the creamy gardenia and slightly sweet fruity and musky layers. It’s a pretty, well blended and warm scent, but not for me personally.

For me, Come l'Amore is one of those scents that falls squarely in the "excellent, but not for me" category. It's undoubtedly wonderful, with its abundance of exceptionally rich, realistic white florals and its hint of subtle spices, but these are accords that I can personally take or leave. However perfectly they're done, they just never make my heart beat any faster, with very few exceptions. Even though I quite liked testing it and admire it for its quality, Come l'Amore isn't one of those exceptions, which means I don't have that much to say about it - this isn't much of a review, I'm afraid! I can only say it's definitely worth trying if this is your genre...

happyme2009 gets it.. just amazing at the price point these are available. So niche, so natural smelling, so sexy! In the same vein as creed love and white.
