This one is a beauty , but not exactly surprising . The beginning offers the most beautiful dark rose covered in insense . At this point it’s quite similar to Tauer’s Air du desert marocain and others from his creations. Or the long time gone Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque. I adore this phase, and I cannot sense any geranium. I wish the rose would stay strong, as I adore roses, but instead the woods and insense seem to take over. I cannot smell any vanilla. The perfume becomes more and more smoky, perhaps too smokey , even resembling a bon fire. Still no lemon or vanilla in sight. In the end the rose is struggling to survive the heavy Myrth, insense , smoke , woods. It remains the most beautiful dark red rose, and for some bizzare reason it makes me think of Medieval times, a beautiful woman accused of sorcery and burnt alive . Gruesome vision. But the scent is truly beautiful, probably difficult to wear but gorgeous in iits artistic execution . Another stunning Bois 1920. The bottle seems covered in bitter chocolate , a dark brown that is not see through so you cannot see how much is left in the bottle. It doesn’t match the scent, I would have made it bloody red. The lasting power and silage are average to good, even strong. It was a blind buy for me and it is a keeper although I don’t know when I would wear it. most likely another one of my guilty pleasures , not to be shared with the world. Edit : it turns out that I never ever wear this. It's far too strong for my environment... I have a 100ml tester bottle ( identical to non tester but has a sticker that says "tester", which could be removed ) totally full, sprayed maybe 3 times, so 99% full. I'd like a full La Vaniglia instead, I know this is way more pricey than that but at least I'd wear that one... or Rosso ....

A very underrated fragrance. At first i get an incense blast with a hint of wonderfull, very elegant cold, dark rose. It doesnt evolve that much but after a few hours it gets warmer, spicier. Great scent for colder months on a cashmere Sweater... but also great in a summer. I get very good sillage and longevity. One of my favourites...

A great, dry geranium-heavy rose incense perfume. A bit too rosy and bright for me compared to expectations created by the darker and heavier base note list. In comparison to some others in the genre, I’d say this is drier, less oudy, and more prominent on the geranium than most.

An easier to wear saffron-rose-oud combo. Nothing new here, it smells exactly how all the aforementioned combo perfumes smell.

I love incense perfumes. But sorry. This fragrance is just my wet golden retriever with white dogs shampoo on it smell. Nothing more. Just my wet golden. Its nice, but showering my dog is cheaper. My advice- take a golden retriever instead of this perfume.

Sharp rose with a bit of musk. After the dry down, all that's left is a rose dominant fragrance. I like it for what it is, however it reminds me slightly of Mancera's Black to Black, (even The Aoud) for which I own; B2B is far better in my opinion.... Nice, but a pass.
