Rosa di Filare

upon first spray, you get a shampoo rose smell. it smells like a floral body wash. once it dries down, it smells like the floral aspect of valentino valentina pink. so this is like a lighter version of my favorite perfume ever, which is great but it's only the rose aspect of it. it smells a bit raunchy, a bit girly, a bit dirty. i kinda like this a lot, and it'll probably get better with time. is it a safe blind buy, i don't think it's for rose lovers but for those who want only a hint of rose. the patchouli and cedar and iris are heavy here (but it's a light perfume, not a lot of projection and the longevity is ok). i think this is a shampooey perfume that goes from a generic smell to a very particular genre of flirtatious perfumes. not kinky, but not exactly workplace friendly either. the rose note is kinda faint, not sure if it's going to be a repeat purchase but pretty happy with it so far 💖🌅

I blind bought this because I found a bottle for a good price and I love the brand. I have to say, when I smelled the top notes (especially one note...not sure what it was but I think it might have been the litchi) I was worried because, while I love a sweet rose, this was over the top bubblegum sweet. Luckily, after about 10 minutes it toned itself down and the patchouli came out and it was lovely. There was still some sweetness from the fruits, but the smokiness of the patchouli mixed with the rose made it less overpowering. It's great for summer. I only wish that I could detect some (ANY) of the woody notes that Fragrantica mentions...because I get none of that.

I feel like I'm going crazy, I keep spraying this and loving it and then minutes later it smells like it's completely gone. When it's on, it's a musky, and yes, shampoo-ish smell. I like it. When the musk fades, it reminds me of something I had as a kid, like a sweet pea perfume I had in some children's makeup kit. But it doesn't stick around long enough to smell it on my wrist after three sniffs.

I disagree with the previous comment. To me this fragrance IS the classic rose + patchouli combination. Sweet with other fruity notes, juicy red berries, litchi. It is a bright sweet-ish happy rose+patchouli with a somewhat artificial bubble-gum vibe to it. Generally pleasant, but not really unique.

This is in the same realm as is Lust in Paradise, A la Rose, Delina. It's a fresh rose with some litchi, there is some depth from cedar, patchouli, amber and blackcurrant. Bright, pink and there is that tropical humidity surrounding it as litchi does that. +

Unfortunately a pass for me. Smells like a rose shampoo for toddlers. I was expecting it to be similar to A la Rose, but it is way too soapy. Like lady Vengence, they both share a weird synthetic base. I don't mind synthetic notes in perfume, but here it feels like a bug than a feature.

Hm... what to say...not as expected. if you're looking for a jammy/sweetish/fruity rose patchouli combination, this isn't the one. At least not on me. On me this smells more like a slightly sour rose on a NIVEA base (not that NIVEA was a fragrance note). Pleasant enough though but here I do not see the niche price justified. P.S. I love and adore many Bois 1920 creations, find them quite unique hence the slight disappointment

Once again I have been reminded of the tricks that weather and temperature can play on our perception of a fragrance! I bought Rosa di Filare last summer, fully expecting to love it and I didn't! At the time it was everything I generally do not like in a rose fragrance, overly jammy and tart. It baffled me because none of the notes would suggest that impression but litchi can do that. So, I shelved it and basically forgot about it until today. We are once again in extreme lockdown here in California and the nights have grown chilly. On a crazy impulse I reached for the gold capped lovely pink bottle and sprayed my neck. Fully expecting an explosion of sour jam, much to my surprise I was greeted with a soft, sweet rose surrounded by berries. A tiny bit tart but just enough to keep the rose from getting syrupy. I could hardly believe it! And it just got lovelier. Fabulous longevity and a wonderful wave of sweet rose then a bit of jam then a bit of berry and some rose again. The maxim to the story, don't give up on a fragrance until you've given it a chance under different weather conditions. As my mom used to say, "a word to the wise is sufficient!"

Like a soft fluffy warm shawl warms in snowy December. It seems to me that this warmth is created by amber in duet with iris, the rose itself is very soft and not screaming, I personally felt the rose with great difficulty, and most likely it is a Turkish rose (although I never smelled Turkish roses .. The Bulgarian rose is well known to everyone and it certainly smells very intensely and vividly. This brand is deeply respected and loved by me personally, for the originality and beauty of the fragrances, for the fact that the fragrances are not stamped, but created really by the soul — felt by the Master. A special place, of course Come la Luna ,, Dolche Giorno and Natturno Fiorentino-3 fragrances - 3 handsome men, deserving the honorable places in the collection. Well, Rosa- will complement and adorn the woman soft, delicate and delicate. And if you are an extravagant beauty and want to feel all this beauty and at least for a moment reincarnate from panther to a kitty - this fragrance will help you with this ;-)

A scent of watery fruit and roses. It’s quite sweet. If I had to pick specific notes, they’d be rose, bamboo, cassis, and lychee, but it doesn’t feel fresh, clean, or crisp—the fruity notes are slightly dusty and musty.
