Sensual Tuberose

On the opposite side of Frammenti, which is not necessarily my favourite, Sensual Tubereuse is absolutely spectacular! Catnip to my nose! Divine!! True to its name, a very sensual smelling scent! For those of us who enjoy a bubblegumy tuberose balanced with fruits and spices, those who love a floral forward fragrance with powdery, exotic, creamy, peachy nuances, Sensual Tuberose should be a no brainer. It’s perfection in a bottle! I find this scent so appealing to my personal taste, so smooth and creamy, smelling so rich, nuanced and elegant, so classy and delicious that I am going to get a bottle right away. I have a few other fragrances from Bois 1920 but this became instantly my favourite from their releases. Not that I have tested everything they offer. I knew they create high quality products since I visited a few summers ago their store in Florence, but this tuberose centric perfume exceeding my expectations! Smells absolutely mesmerising! For all tuberose lovers, this is a must try! Being an older release, the retail price of Sensual Tuberose is lower than most of designers marks these days. You get niche quality, made in Italy perfume, with exquisite packaging and bottle for less money than you’d pay for a Gucci or a Givenchy! Fantastic value for money! Lasts about 7 hours on skin with moderate sillage. Not bad for a floral scent.

Gorgeous. Slightly animalic and at the same time bubblegum-y, bright, modern, neon tuberose. Deadly attractive. I instantly see a neon magenta or neon lilac bikini on the tanned skin of a young Brigitte Bardot look-alike if there is one as stunning as she was back then. Apart from the gorgeous creamy tuberose, the notes of coconut, coriander, and peach are very prominent. There's a very slight touch of powderiness in it (or rather a velvety, smooth overall feel). I do get some Fracas vibe from this but still, there is no other perfume like Sensual Tuberose, it's just different. Crazily bright, fresh and a tad animalic, narcotic, slightly bimbo-ish, but not vulgar, it reeks of quality ingredients, and the composition is blissfully masterful. ST is a predatress with a mellow voice, smokey cat eyes and full lips, looking innocent and very feminine. Amazing sillage and longevity.

Gummy tuberose & coconut cream, gets sweeter and a touch powdery as it dries down. This isn't beachy; feels waxy and sticky, like wearing the perfume in linoleum form. I see the comparison to Polianthes, fitting because this reminds me of that a lot. I'd say Polianthes feels more pollenated to this one's waxiness. Perfect all year round, I'd wear this indoors during winter for a little pick me-up. Heavy projection, enters a room before you do and lingers when you leave.

The opening resembles Fracas. It is not identical, but has a shadow to the Queen of Tuberose, Fracas. I like it and its beautiful in the opening. silage low to med. Longivity is Medium, good about 4 hours. Edit: The more I wear this the more it resembles fracas. Very tuberose and a beautiful perfume. I cant pick out the notes its a soft spice very much the base of Bois1920 line. For Fracas lovers its a nice alternative.

Bois 1920 Sensual Tuberose no. 0823/1920 bottle. Its a gorgeous tuberose ceamy coconut scent that leans exotic but not beachy. If you have issues with Fracas for one reason or another this is similar but her own identity. Its lush, sillage is moderate and lonjevity is also moderate. I enjoyed this from first spray and its a solid buy. Drydown gets a little sexy but its easy to handle! Very very good.

I am a tuberose LOVER. The opening to this sent me into oblivion! I was running around as it was drying down and it became a little too heavy and took that deep, smooth tuberose away from me. I am thinking winter will be THE perfect season for this on me. I will update if any true changes :o)

Usually tuberose perfumes are too strong but not this one! Sensual tuberose is a smooth creamy bubblegumy vanilla. Leans feminine in my opinion and I can see me wearing this all year around. Very beautiful combined with coconut and Iris making it slightly powdery.

For sure, this it is a sublime tuberose that conquers you or makes you dizzy, depends on how insistent or easy to wear you find tuberose in general. The opening is so intense and the bubblegum effect is so strong, that you may have the impression that a single spray would be too much. Because it is adjacent to the coconut, the tuberose from Sensual Tuberose turns into an exotic and extravagant presence, a tuberose of excesses. I can say that, in general, I like the slightly fruity tuberose or the one accompanied by other white flowers and slightly masculine notes that somehow decrease it s density and make it more airy. It seems to me that winter is the season in which Sensual Tuberose integrates best, although it should be tested in the warm season because I feel the tropical allure that I do not feel in Fracas. I find Sensual Tuberose a little like Reve d'Anthala, but less gourmand. I would consume my sample with joy, but it's not FB worthy for me, especially considering the price.

This one is hands down my most favorite fragrance from Bois 1920. The scent, quality, complexity and silage is amazing. What u see in the note breakdown is really what you get, blended smoothly. What is also very interesting on my skin it takes 2 to 3 hours until the Top Notes transitions into the next phase. Ultimately I wished this was a linear fragrance consisting only of the amazing scent you get the first 2 hours in. Afterwards in the drydown it is not bad. However the top phase to me is way more interesting and entertaining. But still the entire composition is great enough to constantly having me considering in buying a full bottle of this gem.

This is a really nice take on tuberose. it remind me of Beyond Love but it is less messy. Perhaps it could be the lovechild between EL Tuberose Gardenia' sober approach and Beyond Loves more rough and coconutty one. The coriander in it would nod towards Honour, but I find Honour more airy and less carnal. Honour plays more in the same league as Michale Kors Michael with its airy image. I find Bois 1920 Sensual Tuberose really sensual, even carnal. I don't think it's similar to either Fracas or Blonde. I could have this on my shelf without having it competing with any of them. Thumbs up!

The coconut, Peach, Tuberose combo is very intriguing. It has a shape, and it is big. I almost am not a fan, but I keep sniffing it. It is very interesting. It almost has a Honeysuckle feel to it. It is very sweet and comes across as a cloud. Definitely powdery. Definitely floral and feminine. I look forward to the dry Down.

Straight out of the box this is a really pretty bubblegummy tuberose. Perfect for Spring & Summer but will update more after a full wear test It does remind me slightly of L'Interdit Absolu Givenchy

In my experience In summer is very soft, almost imperceptible, 0 trail and rather intimate projection, for its price a total fraud 👎👎 But I tried it in spring, all the flowers described bloomed suddenly in front of my nose 💐💐An exceptional bouquet, something powdery, dusty and elegant, I don't think it's to the taste of a teenage girl or young woman in her twenties, too formal for them 😺🤦 Anyway I see/feel it more like a bridal perfume than a fragrance of "going for a walk"

I‘m a fan of tuberose, but this left me totally cold. It smells like a poor man‘s Fracas to my nose, and it‘s way too expensive for that. Or maybe like Fracas scented washing powder, if such a thing existed. The opening is all right, I smell lots of tuberose, a little peach and some soapy-bubbly aldehydes that aren‘t listed. But when it dries down, it just becomes too soapy and powdery on me. I get absolutely no coconut at all, not even a hint. Instead I get coriander (a note that rarely seems to work for me), cold iris powder and an unbalanced mixture of musk and sandalwood. It‘s a little sour and doesn‘t smell sensual to me at all, there is no warmth to it. I mean it‘s not straight-up bad, but not very good either, there are so many better tuberoses out there. Maybe it‘s just my skin chemistry, I‘m not sure, but I‘d rather stick to good old Fracas instead of this.

Coriander, tuberose, peach, coconut. A definite spring or summer scent! At first I found the combination of coconut and coriander rather startling, and the whole thing seemed an eclectic mix. I've never tried Fracas (I know!) so this really was a blind test. To me the strongest notes are the coriander and peach, not very much tuberose, and the coconut was a surprise. It's a must-try if you're into spicy-fruity scents, because there really isn't much florality to it; it's well made of course, seamless, a lovely blend, which doesn't change too much, or didn't on my skin. While it isn't to my personal taste (I'm not a peppery-fruit fan) I can see this would have some devoted followers, it's interesting and unusual. Finally like most Bois 1920 scents, it's decently strong, you only need a little drop here and there :)

I love tuberose but this one is just vintage over chewed bubblegum in 70-ies ... Fracas dilluted

After turning the world upside down, I succeeded in buying a bottle of this rarity. Mine is number 1028, but I have to check, I just closed the double/tripple box right back. it is tuberose all right, sadly it doesn't work on my skin. it is strong and long lasting, yes, it is the same kind of tuberose like in Fracas, but without the soapy notes. Actually, what this one reminds me of mostly, it is Vintage Gardenia by Jo Malone, which I also had and re-homed to somebody else who loved it better. Sadly I think Tuberose Sensuele will have the same destiny. A pity, becase my husband loves it, but I just find too "agressive womanly" as it is. It's a pretentious scent and I am the kind who's dressed in Yoga pants most time. EDIT: three days later I come back to bite my own words: this perfume is simply addictive. It is young and sexy and a bit sweet, no wonder my husband is all over me when I wear it. Sure everybody thinks of Fracas when they smell a good tuberose, because Fracas is such a classic. Sensual is a good word for this tuberose, definitelly a keeper!!!! ( on a side note, I have several other good tuberose, including Carnal Flower, Do Son edp, Amouage Honour and others)

I don't know why but this barely reminds me of Fracas. I think I have the Fracas reformulation but I am not sure. Anyway, strangely enough Sutra Ylang reminded more of Fracas. I was told that this was closer to the original fracas which is odd because it doesn't pack that glamorous punch. This also reminds me a bit of Madeline Madeline by Madeline Mono or least how I remember it. Maybe I'm just crazy. haha

Quite nice! This is similar to Versace Blonde. Call it a lighter version, minus the civet and minus the strength/projection. A very nice, sweet tuberose. The coconut and jasmine are present and obvious. Ladylike and great for any tuberose or white flower lover’s collection!

It says sensual, but i smell sterile and clean tuberose. Not bad, but not me. Not sure about longlivity, but projection is poor. It is really sweet with somewhat noticeable coriander and heliotrope.

gorgeous!!! as soon as I sprayed it, I thought fracas. the more it settles on my skin, it sweetens up its a cross between madonna TOD and Fracas its a sweet candy-lite/bubble gummy tuberose.

Tuberose all the way , doesn’t stand out for me . If i would be to chose again I’d take something else . Moderate projection and staying power .

Mature one.. has some acetone undertone, and linear performance. Aggressive longevity, definitely try before buying
