Moire

The description itself sounded so intoxicating, I had to go test it out. Narcotic tuberose plus leather it seems, and definitely this perfume lives up to that write-up. It feels like the love child of the jean-claude ellena's un jardin apres let mousson and Thierry mugler alien for the layering of white flowers. On me the sandalwood and cardamom really really stand out, followed by the white florals. But there's also some sweetness from the apricot! Yes, it's a multilayered, complex perfume that is still quite harmonious. And it's not multilayered as in one after the other, but all of the individual scents at the same time, and yet in symphony. Now, I'm not usually a fan of sandalwood perfumes...they remind me too much of the old school 'attars' of childhood. And this particular one, has a bit of the oily sandalwoody-ness coming through a bit too strongly, but the surprising sweetness of the apricot and cardamom balance it out quite well. I love it, and I can't wait to buy it. I'm probably going to be circling it and the shop like a shark till such day as I can buy it! Lol.
