106 damascena rose, davana, vanilla

I discovered this for the first time this year and it is my new favourite. I almost always like perfumes containing vanilla, but the vanilla is not uppermost in this one, although it contributes to the rather unusual and attractive overall impression. Sometimes when I first put this on I think something in it smells a bit like basil (probably the davana which apparently smells different on different people). That's a smell I like on my kitchen windowsill and it turns out I like it on me too. After a while it settles down to a rather incensey, rich and interesting combination that is hard to define but I really like it. I tend to wear this on my body under clothes as I think it could almost be overpowering if someone wore too much of it, but that gives just the perfect inensity.

This is the best scent and best perfume I have ever bought. 5 bloody stars reccomend it. If u love girly girly very feminine scents that r sweet and powdery but super rosey, u will adore it. The vanilla and davana just make it even more sophisticated.

kinda smells like a syrupy rose bomb with vanilla in the background... if u like a sweet rose that smells kinda like a baked good...

This perfume really reminds me of Kenzo Flower. It's not an exact dupe, this has a lot more vanilla. It is almost like you took Kenzo Flower and mixed it w/ Nina Ricci L'Extase rosa absolu. I owned Flower, and I liked it but it just didn't "feel" like me, so I am currently using it as bathroom air freshener. I love the Nina Ricci L'Extase Rose and wear it often. And since I love that one so much, I don't need this. So, if you like Kenzo Flower but want something a bit sweeter and more vanillic this is a good way to go.

My experience differs quite significantly from previous reviews. At the start, I don't get any sweetness, but more of a sharp, green soapiness that sticks to the back of your throat, which i find really unpleasant. After the first one to two hours, this sensation fades and the fragrance goes more toward the vanilla-rosey facets and becomes a little bit sweet. Still, not one for me.

Very surpried by the rose mentioned in the comments. I'm unable to discern it, the vanilla is so overpowering. It is a very sweet, to the point of stuffy and powdery scent. Girly, a bit infantile. The way Good Girl by C. Herrera is. If you like strong vanilla perfumes, this is a good one. But I found no rose in it.

This is very similar to LUSH Rose Jam! A juicy, jammy rose that goes a tiny bit sharp/sour on me. Unfortunately this gives me a headache.

First the smell is sweet but fresh. Then the sweetness takes over and there’s some “juicy fruit” in the air, I’m feeling to start uncomfortable. When it’s time for the basenote I’m slightly nauseous and I want to wash it of. There are only a few scents of “Le BonParfumeur” that have this effect on me. Overall I like them, no, I love them, I’m a true fan of this brand. I’m always curious to discover new fragances and sometimes it’s love at first smell and sometimes we just do not match. And this is the case with no 106 and me.

This is just too much for me. It almost comes across as abrasive. I normally love vanilla/rose combinations, but this is too sharp and annoying. Even the musk couldn't save this. Maybe it is the pepper or davana, poor blending, or a combination of all that is not sitting well with me. Whatever it is, I couldn't bear having it on long enough to find out.

Jammy jammy rose, buttery even. Don't understand the ones saying it's green, it's really warm and gourmand to me. But not super sweet like some commercial vanilla roses can be. I also don't get a lot of pepper although i am probably more used to super spicy perfumes so definitely a bit animosic to it. There is a tinge of woodsiness there. Not super complex but it doesn't need to be, a jammy lush vanilla rose (also compared to lush rose jam which is accurate.) The only thing I think it can use is a splash of bergamot or some kind of citrus because despite it not being dripping in sweetness, it needs a little bit more sparkle. Layering frag maybe? But a great one I personally love BP perfumes.

'this perfume reminds me of' lists rose jam and delina exclusif. those exact perfumes came to mind on initial spray, along with nina ricci 'rose extase' and mfk 'satin mood' except less elegant and formal, and more girly and sweet. jammy candied roses with vanilla. can be cloying in my opinion and has a light syrupy scent like the rose syrups bought at asian markets. this is the stay home and watch movies and play video games or go shopping and drink matcha while smelling really girly version of all the rose perfumes.

Very sweet rose. The Davana adds a very light green touch but this is not a fresh scent, it is a jammy sweet rose that evolves to a soft musky vanilla drydown. The Davana helps to make this scent distinctive. I don't remember anything like this perfume to be honest. If you don't like the Davana note probably you will dislike this scent, because it is very prominent from beginning to end, at least on my skin.

Feminine fragrance. A man's point of view. Appealing, catches your attention without just being an overpowering pong. If you are looking for something which signals sophisticated, mature, then this isn't it but it's not like it suggests playfulness, no dark vibe, no sex vibe, just very inviting. So I think this is very well done.
