601 vetiver, cedar, bergamot

I recently decided to try a couple of Bon Parfumeur offerings after the YouTube community has been discovering this house with more and more videos available. I was also in Paris for Easter with the idea of going to what I think is their only store, but with two children aged 2 and 8, it was impossible. So I ordered online based on my taste in notes. This 601 on paper was nothing more than something in the style of TDH and that's exactly what it is. Very close. Terre d'Hermes has always been a signature scent for me and I've loved it for many years (EDT). Here, the notes may be less pungent, but it's absolutely delicious and I don't share the overall rating I see. It's also worth noting the beauty of the simple and minimalist packaging. The price is absolutely perfect for a niche perfume and I also like the idea of not giving specific names to the fragrances.

The original intention of mine was to buy a cedarwood - vetiver combination to add some missing notes to my existing sweet perfumes, that is 1.) and 2.) I love vetiver and cedar themselves. And yes, this is the slightly sweet cedar with hay-earthy note of the vetiver + zesty fresh, but somehow dark bergamot with piquant peppers. Easily worn on its own, and of course, open to a new layering combinations. Very good quality, a blind buy. And I am telling this as an experienced nose 😉😁

This smells so incredibly good! It is similar to Terre d'Hermès. So woody, so vetiver. Edit: after having used it again after a while and having smelt other vetivers by Guerlain and Hermès I realised its own special quality: there's something in it, maybe "violet leaf", that rounds sharper vetiver a little down and what a fantastic combination this is! The woody vetiver in it is so good that I got goosebumps! For me, this is better than TdH.

" for sure like TDHermes but.. this thing way more natural , more depth, more 3d, wow great job

I tried this in July and thought it was just okay. I found it herbaceous and interesting but not quite fresh enough to be what I was looking for on a swelteringly hot day. Now in September I tried it again and I just want to bathe in it! It's green, spicy, and unisex and uplifts my mood as I get whiffs of it throughout the day.
