602 Bois Narcotique

I see that mostly men comment here about this scent. But, as a woman I find it lovely, very unisex. The Vetiver note is prominent, the way I like it. Reminds me a lot of Lalique Encre Noir and slightly of my teenage Escada Country Weekend, a woody, green spicy fragrance with cedar wood and tart green apple. The name "Bois Narcotique" is a bit confusing to me though, as I usually expect the "narcotique" in the title when the white florals are present: slightly dirty jasmine, decaying lily... Don't really get what's narcotic about Vetiver, Cedar, Neroli and Black Pepper...? Spicy yes, mysterious certainly, damp and melancholic - for sure. But narcotic? I guess I have a different understanding of this term. Well, on a good note, I love it and glad I tried it this summer!

Delightfully creamy but not in a heavy or gourmand way. It is strongly suggesting Loewe’s 7 to me. Since it shares 5/8 of its notes with 7, that’s perhaps not surprising. But it seems somehow cleaner and fresher, almost like a bar of creamy white soap. A wonderful creation!

I don’t get the Loewe 7 connection. The incense is much less prominent in this and it smells much more green. Reminds me of a more refined and modern Salvador Dali Pour Homme. Like an old abandoned house deep in the forest Edit: I tried this one again (after wearing Loewe 7 several times) and I did pick up on the similar incense note. Still more green, but I get the similarities

it seems they reformulated 602 and removed the laurel bay note :(, what a pity, laurel is one of my favourite notes and it is what made 602 special
