603 cuir, encens, fève tonka

I am increasingly appreciating leather in perfumery. When I first sprayed 603, I felt such a relief. It offers a spicy, aromatic, green, incense fragrance enveloped by the smoothest leather accord I've experienced so far. The scent is rich, piney, and deep, yet it’s not overpowering. In fact, 603 is subtle, comforting, and classy. So, how does this fragrance feel to me? It opens with a hint of spicy lemon and features a clean, green violet note that is incredibly enticing. There's a smooth leather accord, alongside sweet and slightly dusty tonka bean. The incense is prominent, complemented by a forest-like scent from the cypress. As it dries down, it becomes resinous and sweeter. The longevity is decent, lasting 6-7 hours on the skin with soft projection for the first two hours, after which it becomes more intimate. 603 is gorgeous and grounding for me—an invitation to walk into the woods and reflect deeply within myself.

I tested this perfume multiple times now and I am loving it more and more. After the citrusy opening dissapears I get a floral scent that to my nose is extremely close to Narcotic Venus by Nasomatto. I know it doesn't share any notes but every time that's what it reminds me of. I don't like leather as a note very often in perfumery but it's smooth and quiet here, well blended with the creamy and warm tonka beans. It has freshness overall from the violet leafs. In my opinion that's what makes this perfume more versatile. This could be worn during the day or night in the autumn, winter but personally I would wear it on a cooler spring day too.

A solid option from Bon Parfumeur. Masculine leaning, but I would wear this for sure. Sweetened smokey ambery leather with a citrus opening. Not overly aromatic. I got prominent incense, although that isn't listed. The scent fits the color of the bottle, if the scent had a color it would be a warmer grey-green. The leather is smooth and in the background, not the heavy leather found in Falcon Leather for example. I get clear labdanum, too. It not very complex or deep but it is well blended. It has moderate performance, not beast mode but an elegant presence which is better I think.

603 is a subtle scent that isn't in your face at first, but rather creeps up on you. Quite weak sillage but make's it a more intimate scent great for dates. Unique in it's own way but nothing too special.

A very dynamic smoky leather with a touch of tonka bean. If you enjoy middle eastern leather-oud fragrances this is quite similar. 8.7/10 imo EDIT: THIS IS EXTREMELY NON-LINEAR. IT OPENS UP WITH AGGRESSIVE NUTMEG AND A TOUCH OF VIOLET, DRYING DOWN TO LEATHERY, SLIGHTLY SMOKY TONKA BEAN.

Citrus in the opening. Then a sweet, clean profile juxtaposed next to notes that are dirty, earthy and smoky. I pick up some herbs also, but this scent is a chameleon. It’s an odd one on my skin, but enjoyable.

I see definitely a similarity with Dior Fahrenheit. Dry down is earthy, dirty, ozonic and a little gaseline vibe like Fahrenheit. Good overall.

Opens with a bright violet leaf, nutmeg and citrus, along with the smooth creamy tonka and a soft leather in the dry down. Masterful blend, this is very easy to wear and can be both youthful and mature. Amazing for fall especially, but winter too of course. It’s not very strong, but this isn’t the type of scent that you want to radiate across the room. It’s more of a sensual scent, one only the ones close to you will be able to enjoy. Even though this isn’t your generic ‘clubbing dna’, I think this works amazing for a night out as well, you’ll definitely stand out from the crowd. I’ll usually spray this 4-6 times depending on the mood and weather! All in all, an amazing addition to my collection that I’m very glad to have gotten a steal on. Very slept on banger!

At first I was a bit apprehensive with the leather note since it's not much of a favorite of mine, yet. However this is such a delicate, sensual, easy to wear fragrance! It opens up very citric and spicy, you get this aromatic splash and then it quickly becomes this creamy, smoky tonka bean with a smooth, mysterious leather that I absolutely fell in love with. I feel this is such an intimate, simple fragrance that you would easily reach for multiple times. Definitely unisex, and perfect for colder days. The more i smell it, the more I feel like putting on my leather jacket and going on date night.

This fragrance is delicate, sensual, and easy to wear. It starts with a bright, citrusy, and spicy burst, then transitions to a creamy, smoky tonka bean with soft, mysterious leather that I fell for. This intimate, simple fragrance is perfect for colder days and feels unisex. Would suit well with saint Laurent or old money outfits A perfect date night scent!

Doesn’t pack the punch that Fahrenheit does, but has the watercolor feel of black saffron with a dirty floral vibe. Not bad, but delicate yet not super feminine.

Every notes are blended really well. Not skanky at all. There’s some kind of freshness in it. But it’s definitely leaning masculine, not for me.

Is this perfume different from 603 Cuir Sahib? Or is this the same, just an older bottle?
