Bond No. 9 x Harrods 175 Anniversary Edition

Picked up one of the very few remaining bottles of this today and I can say that it’s quite possibly one of the best frags I’ve smelled in a long time. The honey isn’t thick or overly syrupy, it’s a nice smooth honey that helps bring out the cinnamon and the vanilla stays all throughout the drydown. On my skin, I get strong projection (about 7ish feet) and it lasts between 17 and 18 hours

It was spicy, smoky, and incense goodness. The cinnamon was lovely. Unfortunately, it was limited addition and can’t be purchased anymore and the price tag was STEEP. But I definitely believe this one is full bottle worthy

As a fan and collector of Bond No.9, I decided to blind buy Bond No.9 175 Harrods from their online store. When it arrived, I was a bit disappointed. Why? Because it's very similar to Bond No.9 Nomad. They open in a very similar way—sweet and spicy with a noticeable rose. Maybe Nomad is a bit fresher at the start and slightly less spicy. Then they both head in the same direction. Nomad is supposed to be an oud-rose fragrance, but in reality, it leans more toward a sweet rose, with the oud barely noticeable. 175 Harrods, on the other hand, is more of a honeyed rose. Simply put, the rose plays the leading role in both compositions, supported by sweet notes. In the later drydown, Nomad becomes a bit more woody, while 175 Harrods leans more musky. Both scents have their charm, but if you own one, you probably don’t need the other—unless you’re a collector like me. Longevity on both is over 12 hours, and on clothes, they last until washed off. Is Bond No.9 175 Harrods worth it? I’d say not really. You can find Nomad at a much better price on discount websites, while 175 Harrods is exclusive to their official store.

The colours of the scent profile are so pleasing! I love how it goes from pale yellow to lavender.
