Bond Number One

This is fantastic! Starts out with a classic clean musk that borders on soapy, but in the best way possible (do yourself a favor and wait for the drydown). I get a hint of that ylang ylang, but it's definitely not overpowering or too heady at all. You may think that this is a "light" scent upon first spray, but as this starts to dry down and warm up on the skin, that musk starts to deepen and the patchouli, albeit not strong, supports the musk and gives it dare I say, a sexiness? and that's when it really starts to project. The drydown is where this fragrance shines. This is feminine, it's sensual, and the final development of the musk note is done so well. It's almost akin to the sexy and almost carnal musk found in Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDT, that never becomes too animalic. This is blended very well, and creates a feeling of warmth with the tonka and the vanilla swirling in the background giving it a gentle sweetness. The florals, jasmine and rose, are not prominent to my nose. This is a beautifully done musk fragrance, that is fully bottle worthy for me!

Is there a fragrance that even when you're sick and stuffed up and can barely breathe....it becomes a momentary salve? Hell----oooh! Did you hear me say Bond Number ONE? To be honest when I saw the bottle I figured I wouldn't like it. I foolishly thought it would be very masculine leaning. I had NO idea this would make my heart readjust in my chest cavity. Top to bottom. Open to close...this is it! It's clean. It's mesmerizing. It attaches to you like a new puppy when you walk through the door. The musk...the musk...THAT MUSK...it feels like warm cotton and iris and violet but those aren't listed. It's clean like fresh laundry. It reminds me of distant cousins to Valaya. It's like Tocca Giulietta or Ceramic from Andrea MaackK. This is on the MUST HAVE 100ML ASAP list!

This is a very luxurious vanilla fragrance. At first it is very Sweet and Vanilla forward with a musky/amber/cashmere feel then it dims down and the powdery, musky and creamy vibe becomes more apparent followed by some amazing rosey florals. It lasted all day for me and radiated nicely. It is more feminine leaning but as a man I really enjoyed it can see myself using this often. Price is high but a great scent nonetheless. Perfect for cold weather but still has a nice light airy feel even if you want to try warmer weather

I tested this one today and was shocked at how much I loved it. I’ve been sniffing my arm all day and finally caved, pulled the trigger on a full bottle. As much as I detest these bottles (honestly, I think they’re downright hideous), the fragrance itself is beautiful. It opens with a gorgeous musky vanilla and settles into a powdery, slightly floral dry down. It’s been on my skin for about six hours and still going strong. Not a lot of projection, but it stays close and cozy, and I absolutely love it.

This musk is comforting and soft!!!! Finally a Bond fragrance that I love! It does share similarities with The Body Shop White Musk, but Bond is sweeter and overall less sharp - which makes it way more pleasing imo. This fragrance makes you want to keep smelling your wrist. It's very sensual. Wearing this naked in bed with your significant other kind of sexy, in a loving and cherishing way - not a Dirty Dancing way - which is my favorite kind of sexy fragrance. Leans feminine, which I'm happy about

It took a minute, but Bond is finally putting out some bangers again. Number One reminds me of a marriage of two of my most beloved perfumes; Mizensir Poudre D'or (musk) and Roja 51 Parfum (florals). If you like either of those, this will be right up your alley. BN1 is feminine, sweet, and texturally soft without being powdery or dated. I also agree with @JoyousOne's review below - though not listed, there definitely Iris/Orris hanging out in there somewhere.

Smells incredible. Very creamy and the vanilla and musk combination go well together. The only negative I would say is the price point, $460 is an insane price. I bought wholesale for only $130 and it was very well worth, but I personally would not buy this for $460. Some might find the bottle a little bit tacky, but I personally like how it looks. Overall a solid fragrance, and definitely going into one of my favorite fragrances in my collection.

Too many people around me think this is too feminine for me to wear. I respond by asking them how I smell. And they always say I still smell great. I think anyone can wear this. If you have someone in your life that likes rose/vanilla, it doesn't matter who they are, get your nose on this/get their nose on this. This is an amazing intimate scent that I hope everyone loves.

Holey. Effing. God. I went to the west village store and had the lady spray some on my hand. MUSKY VANILLA. HEAVY. This thing is strong and has the potential to be the next big thing. I love musk so much so this is right up my alley. Heavy on the musk. Heavy on the vanilla. Dropped $460 right then and there. Cannot recommend this enough (if you love musk and vanilla).

Love this perfume! There is a blast of sweet vanilla in the opening then it dries down musky. The vanilla is present throughout the wear. The musk is not overbearing. This could easily be a signature scent. It smells like a quality perfume, not cheap as some musks tend to smell. It's a 10 for me.

Absolutely beautiful! Very well blended, sits very close to the skin, last allllll day long. This is the vanilla musk scent I've been looking for for many years, I just wish it was not to pricy its not worth that price point.

This is it, smoothly executed, I can tell the quality is top notch in this one, the musk is there up front, velvety and clean, backed by power flowers, this strongly reminds me of the old Jovan musk craze of decades ago.

Love this release from Bond. This is the first musk I've ever fallen for! The combination of florals, citrus, and musk is heavenly. Simple but sophisticated. This is an easy reach and signature scent worthy.

Smells like scented Shea butter lotion. Like vanilla powder. I like it, it doesn't smell like cologne to me. Light fragrance, but its very good!

This one literally smells like you're walking past a Lush store in the mall. To me, that's a good thing.

This smells soooo good 💜 wears very well. Smelt very VERY good when dried down.

Initially, I was disappointed with this, but it's grown on me. It smells like a fluffy cloud! Musky vanilla that is cozy and comforting; it's creamy too. I get the musk, vanilla, and a smidge of tonka; that's all that stands out on my skin; I don't get any of the other notes. With that being said, it's a pleasant scent that's great for winter, early spring, and fall. I think it might be a bit heavy for summer. It's long lasting and sillage is moderate.

I was able to try this prior to launch. It's definitely feminine imo and leans classic. It reminds me of something I've smelled in the past. The musk has a vintage, very very slight animalic twang, but I didn't find it particularly challenging. It's not my personal taste, but I think retro perfume fans may enjoy the powdery muskiness and florals.

Very sweet, vanilla, and powdery for the fall/winter—either day or night.

Leans feminine so I decide to try a couple fragrances to layer on top to give it a more masculine feel. TF noir extreme 10/10. SWY Oud 9/10. By itself I wouldn't wear it but if I smelled on a female I would say 7/10 maybe.

I surprisingly like this and I say surprisingly because I don’t care for this house other than one of their older classics I keep in my collection for nostalgia purposes mainly but I think this is a lovely musk fragrance but I wouldn’t buy a full bottle because Skin Musk by Attar Al Has gives me similar vibes, not a dupe, but similar realm and that one to me smells a lot better than this and the performance with it is unmatched. Still, this a nice fragrance but the performance isn’t great, especially for the $$. It starts off with a bang but fizzles out to a close to the skin type of scent pretty fast. Skin Musk isn’t cheap either though but the quality of the juice is better for sure but it is also harder to find and I think you can probably find Bond at a discount eventually but if you can sample Skin Musk I’d say try that one to compare before you buy this one. Again, they are not the same so I wouldn’t add it to the reminds me of section. It’s just a similar musk vibe if that makes sense. I would go with Bond though if you don’t want something that projects much, because Skin Musk, despite the name, is not a skin scent in the least.

I smelled this one and tried to figure out the notes before I looked them up so I could create an unbiased review of what I smelled. Instantly, I got the warmth from it. A very warm... and then I couldn't figure out the rest. It was like a cross between marshmallow and... hazlenut? I couldn't quite place it. But now that I looked up the notes, it must be the vanilla/musk/chasmere combo. This is the 3rd fragrance that I've called "warm" only to discover it has cashmere in it. (The others were Argos Fire and Desire and House of Sillage Batman Vengeance), and the marshmallow must be the vanilla- this isn't a normal vanilla you find in other fragrances. Someone below me said Shea Butter and I can get that. It's a very sweet, creamy, yellowy vanilla and maybe it's the ylang ylang that also gives it that uniqueness as well. Edit - I came back a week or 2 later to do a second round. When I tried it again, I got the lightest hint of gourmand notes (I pictured caramel) mixed with some freshness that didn't make it too heavy. As it dried down, the freshness disappeared, leaving a sweet ambery caramel type of fragrance. Not bad, but not for me.

Go ahead and look at the notes for Donna Karen cashmere mist. Then go ahead and look at the notes for this fragrance. As someone who works in the fragrances at Neiman Marcus, and has worked at Macy's as well in the past, this scent hands down is 90% Cashmere Mist by Donna karan!!! Powdery, musky, sweet, and overtly feminine. It's getting a little old at this point with Bond duping houses and charging $450. Honestly, go ahead and do what I just mentioned above. Heck, if you have the ability to spray one on each hand you will see that spending the extra $300 for Bond means that your sense and sensibilities are non-existent when it comes to finances.

Honestly, I dont smell any "gourmand" accords that would make this exclusive to fall/winter wear, as I get much more floral-powderiness than any real noticeable confectionary sweetness or spice. But I must say, I was completely prepared to be underwhelmed by this, but my lord, this actually does smell really good. Damn. I mean, I guess you could call it feminine if youre really hung up on the gender classification of scents, but just overall this is really pleasant.

Smelled this today and instantly fell in love! Such a well blended fragrance. I’m typically not a fan of patchouli but the dry some is just so creamy and intoxicating. It is definitely unisex my husband loved this on me. The scent was lingering in the wind long after I we left the store. It’s been hours and it’s still on skin and clothes 💙

Beautiful, soft vanilla fragrance . I haven’t decided if it is bottle worthy, but the star here is ylang ylang without a doubt. Yes there is musk there and I wish they dialed it down little . Overall, very good fragrance, feminine. It can be a man’s fragrance for spring and summer only .

This is a sweet musk scent. I mostly get musk, something very lactonic almost like the smell of heavy cream, tonka and vanilla. It reminds me of something from the 90's with a vanilla twist. It is ok, it is pleasant. Nothing to rave about but not horrible.

Just got my bottle in the mail (blind bought) and it’s ok. The musk is so heavy it’s nauseating almost. Im not getting much vanilla... or maybe I am?! I don’t know... might be selling this one on Mercari by the weekend 🤷🏾♀️

Wow, I’m seriously done with Bond. The notes in things are not blended well at all. It’s a floral vanilla mess. It smells like an old lady vanilla lotion. If anyone wants to buy a bottle, message me.

Leans a lot more feminine to me. Reminds me of a creamy body lotion from Bath & body Works or Victoria’s Secret. Not sure what the big deal is with this one. I won’t be adding this to my collection.

Had the pleasure of smelling this at blooming dales and it was amazing me and my gf loved it 👍 sweet and musky. Unfortunately the price for this is way out of budget for me or else I’d buy it 🤙
