Coney Island

Bond No. 9 Coney Island. There are a couple reviews below that I agree with as far as this scent goes, so I will try and not be repetitive. Keep in mind that fragrance, like taste in clothing, cars, art and so on, is a personal opinion, so although there may be a negative review against this scent, to you, it may be your new favorite. Don't be put off from getting a sample and giving it a try, you never know. On to the review: This fragrance is very unusual. There is nothing like it available that comes close to the unique properties of Coney Island. Fragrantica left out a note in the composition that I feel is extremely important to this fragrance, and without knowing it, you loose the feeling of what this scent really smells like. I will copy directly from the Bond No. 9 website the note breakdown: Margarita mix, melon guava, cinnamon, chocolate, caramel, musk, vanilla, cedarwood, sandalwood. Fragrantica did not include Margarita Mix in the note breakdown, and I'm surprised at that because that is the note that is first encountered when you experience this scent. When first sprayed upon my skin, I immediately think of "lime" essence (Margarita Mix-Top Note). It is not a soft opening, but very sharp and catches your attention. Once the fragrance settles down on the skin and mixes with the wearer's natural oils, the Melon/Guava notes come into play. These fruity/citrusy notes balance out the tart Margarita opening. Not a long time after, the Middle Notes of this fragrance start to appear (the Caramel notes). This lasts quite a long time (hours), and all the while it never completely looses that fantastic sharp opening. That is one thing I love about this scent. Each layer of the notes blends with the next, they are never completely replaced or lost, but enhanced or softened. The last note that I detect is the Chocolate. It creates a background/depth to the fragrance. If I sprayed Coney Island in the morning after I showered, carried on with my day, and went to bed, the next morning there would be this lovely trace of chocolate still lingering, and it is fantastic. The other notes listed: Cinnamon, Musk, Vanilla and Cedar & Sandalwood are not immediately prominent at any point within the scent (maybe the vanilla appears with the caramel a little), however these additional notes are definitely in the composition somewhere. I could only explain it as the way the fragrance never looses structure. Even when some notes soften, these remaining notes keep the balance of this unusual but superbly designed fragrance. One aspect of this fragrance that should be mentioned is “Where should/can I wear this scent?” Because of the great variety of notes, and the unusualness of the scent, this parfum can be used anytime of the year, during the daytime or the nighttime. It all depends on “how you wear it”. Meaning that I loved spraying this scent on myself during my vacation to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. I was sipping my frozen Margarita, looking at the beautiful water and beach, and smelling exactly like what I was experiencing and how I was feeling. On the other hand, last month when I was in New York City, I went clubbing, and used this scent. The fun night of dancing, drinking and enjoying the city was the perfect storyline for the Bond No. 9 Coney Island scent that I was wearing. Multiple people would turn their heads as I walked by or danced near, as they caught a piece of the intriguing scent that I was wearing, and it garnered many compliments. This scent is multi-talented in that it can be used in many locations and occasions and does it with perfect flair. After finishing up all my samples I purchased the 3.4 oz. bottle, and I finally can enjoy what I now consider my Signature scent. Thank you to the brilliant perfumers at Bond No. 9 for creating a scent that I consider “my personality, bottled”. ;)

UPDATE:::: This is definitely one of the fragrances that is dependent upon the time of year... DO NOT SAMPLE THIS IN THE COLD WEATHER! IT WILL NOT DO IT JUSTICE!!!!! This has OFFICIALLY become my FAVORITE summer fragrance! I was COMPLETELY unfair to this beauty before when I tried it back a couple months ago in the dead of winter!!!! I just tried this on a couple days ago, when the temps hit 78 here. IT WAS AMAZING IN THE HEAT! YUMMY! SO FRESH! Back in the winter all I got was straight lime and margarita... overwhelming so... to the point it knocked it down a notch on my love list. HOWEVER, in the heat, the sweetness of the caramel and melon started coming through mixed with saltiness of the margarita. The smoothness of the sandalwood and hint of cedar blends in nicely to allow everything to mingle in perfect harmony. MMMMMMM so refreshing and fun! I went to bed that night and woke up the next morning, and COULD STILL SMELL IT! The sillage is moderate to heavy depending on how much you spray. I sprayed on the crook of each elbow and once on my clothes and that was ENOUGH! The longevity lasted a good 14-16 hours! When I smell this I instantly thought sitting on the beach smelling the salty sea air, sipping on a margarita, and eating fresh melons and caramels... THAT IS MY HEAVEN!!!!!! When I got home from work, I changed my clothes because my husband and I were going to go riding the backroads with the windows down to enjoy the beautiful weather. I spritzed this on before we left. When we got in the car and rolled the windows down, he got a sniff of it.. his responds "What in the hell do you have on? It smells amazing!!!!!" I THINK I HAVE A WINNER HERE!

Coney Island by Bond No9 is a stunningly unique fragrance, a masterfully concocted marriage of gourmand and summer-inspired freshness. The opening smells intensely of a fruity margarita with a salted rim, briny ocean air, and, to my nose, funnel cake. As a New Yorker who has spent much time at Coney Island, this is extremely nostalgic to me and truly reminds me of its namesake. Many fragrances claim to smell like ocean air, and this is one of the very few that is actually realistic. After about half an hour, the citrus and fruitiness begin to settle down, and the gourmand middle notes of caramel and chocolate begin to come out. Admittedly, I do not pick up on the bottom notes hardly at all, and the cinnamon and chocolate notes are very slight, but do help contribute to that funnel-cake-like smell. The beautiful salt note stays present throughout wearing, which I am very thankful for! This fragrance is extremely light-hearted and playful, while still being appropriate for all ages to wear, and isn't especially juvenile. It is certainly unisex, but some may associate the salty note with more typically "masculine fragrances". The longevity is SUPERB and the sillage is also top-notch without being overpowering for those around you. Yes, the price is high, but in my opinion, this is worth every penny. If you are searching for a fun and unique yet beautiful summer fragrance this is one of the best options out there! This may be my favorite fragrance of all time. 10/10, a masterfully blended olfactory experience unto itself. I wouldn't change a thing!

This perfume was given to me as a gift a few years back. I was a bit reluctant to use it because Bond No.9 has become "en voque" and was no longer a secret juice. I tried it a few times and at first i was deterred because I though it was too strong on the lime, almost cleaning solution strength. I revisited this potion past December. It was a gloomy, morose day with snow outside and I just needed to get revitalized and thought to try a summer fragrance in winter. That was such a dash of summer! One thing I noticed, the vibrant lime is a lot more subdued in winter with warmer caramel and chocolate coming through more noticeably with scruples of cinnamon. Slight trail of spicy sandalwood would show up on the drydown. In summer, lime is a lot more stronger on my skin and I'm finally able to detect tequila and hints of guava , but in mid accords and not in top notes.I'm in love with NYC and Coney Island is a place where I go to escape the asphalt jungle. And this perfume captures the smell of the ocean, seaweed, shells, even the metallic rides and cotton candy and suntan lotion so perfectly! So whenever I need to get refreshed or get into good summer mood(in cold months) this is my escape.I absolutely adore the gourmand smells and I think it's a very creative step on mixing citrus/aquatics with gourmand notes. This juice has great longevity, up to 6 hours on me.

What can I say about Coney Island that hasn't already been said? This is absolutely a fun fragrance. It isn't trying to be sophisticated or elegant or dark and mysterious. It does start out deceptively strong-- a powerhouse of lime and salt. The margarita is strong at first. At first, it reminded me if Light Blue was finally old enough to drink and started to party. Melon and unknown fruit join the show. It does have, as others have said, a less strong but unexpected desserty kind of note. Like a caramel syrup you can put on top of ice cream. Or perhaps the sweetness of a scented sunscreen? I don't know, but they nailed the feeling of being an amusement park to me. It is an enjoyable juxtaposition. The bright lime, the salt, the caramel. I think they did a wonderful job designing this fragrance. I do think what other people have said is true-- this doesn't feel like an everyday fragrance to me. It is just so lively and free, I totally understand this being a summer only fragrance, or something you wear when out on an adventure. I mean, I am sure this is someone's daily favorite, and honestly, I would love to run into a bank teller who smells like a margarita and caramel sauce. They sound like a good time.

This went from like to love for me. It's uplifting and just puts me in a fun mood. Needless to say, every vacation this gets put in my bag and I've made many memories with this excellent fragrance. It is multifaceted and well blended so it will be a journey on skin. There are plenty of "margarita" scents out there but this one paints a picture for me. For the first couple hours it reminds me of an extremely well crafted cocktail on the beach with a nice ocean breeze. The notes in the mid pop in and out as if you had a couple chocolate truffles next to you and the breeze wafts their scent your way while enjoying your cocktail. Very fleeting but the mid is there if you pay attention. The late dry down still has the memory of the cocktail but the musk, vanilla, and woods now stand on their own. Longevity is 6+ hrs on my skin. The sun really brings this one to life. It does remind of Tommy Bahama St. Barts. However, St. Barts is like the margarita that your favorite drunk family member is whipping up for everyone at the weekend BBQ; not bad but not nearly as smooth. 9/10

Coney Island...what a place to remember. I went there a lot as a kid so when I saw this fragrance it was a MUST have. I love this fragrance. Truly unique and un-like any other out there. But that is the true Bond signature. They are un-like any other fragrance. This is very salty lime when first sprayed. Softens into a aquatic melon and dries down into a caramel gourmand. I do not get the dry tequila out of this fragrance at all. When I read my own scent profile I say to myself... 1. salty lime 2. melon/guava 3. carmel.... umm...classic BOND fragrance! Unexpected notes that don't usually go together! Mind blown...but that's what makes this so awesome! Can be unisex. I think this can work year round. And you don't need sweet taffy or cotton candy in your fragrance to remind you of Coney Island. Coney Island is very unique place and I think this fragrance is a great representation! A true collector would miss out by not owning this fragrance.

I am LOVING THIS! Perhaps THE most creative creation from the Bond No.9 house. And one that truly works (at least for me). "Sherapop" has already reviewed this in a fantastic and most accurate story, so I cannot add much to this, other than it is perhaps THE best and most enduring ozonic, aquatic, gourmand scent I have ever encountered. If you think you have smelled all those "wish washy watery scents" before, think and smell again, for this one really wowed me. I love guavas and their delicate, aromatic fragrance is just magically captured here. This entire concoction is masterfully blended (Michel Almairac needs no intro) and I would recommend it as the ultimate summer holiday fragrance. If you live in the tropics and you are sick and tired of elusive and short-lived aquatics, you must try this one. SUMMER STORY MASTERPIECE! 10/10

Just like Coney Island the place, the fragrance is just as unique, weird and infectious. Its a perfect and spectacularly made ode to such an iconic place in our country. I will add that whilst I normally dislike Guava, i love it in this fragrance but thats because it smells like its been smothered in Caramel and Chocolate with a coating of Vanilla and a sprinkling of Cinamon, then its all shaken up to create a fragrance that smells something like a delicious cocktail or decadent dessert. Despite how heavy some of the fragrances sound, the fragrance is quite wearable. I love it during the warmer months because its not cloying or sickly, it stays cool and projects very well. I get alot of compliments when I wear this. This is definetly one of the very few Bond No.9 fragrances that is worth the price-tag. 8/10

It's definitely an oddball, but it grows on you. I try to give every perfume that costs $250 a bottle a "chance" so long as it doesn't make me want to vomit. I wore this one the first time and was unimpressed. Second time, it seemed a little better to me. The third time I wore it, I sprayed it on my bicep/upper arm by mistake, and a few hours later, when I reached for something on the left with my right arm, I was surprised that my skin wasn't "tacky" feeling. And then I "got" it. It really does smell like salt air. Personally, it smells more like Cape Cod or Cape May than Coney Island. The sand has a weird smell at Coney Island, and it permeates the air. While this doesn't smell like that (I wish someone would bottle the CI smell!) I really grew to love it. Lovely in the summer time.

OMG. In LOVE with this one! Now I am not sure how true the rumors are that the Bond No 9 creator used to work for Creed and most scents are similar to Creed parfums -- but, if you like Virgin Island Water by Creed you will LOVE this too! Coney Island is a treat to my nose. It is a truly like sipping a margarita. It is a fresh breezy aquatic scent that is perfect balance of lime citrus, sweetness and a musky cedar. As it dries it is becomes a little sweeter with the carmel coming thru. I love what the cedar and sandalwood add. The melon is there, but not too loud. I tend to detect melon easily and it can be overpowering but not in Coney Island. Seriously it is just right! It is very refreshing, yet yummy....perfect in hot summer weather, or and indian summer fall.

This is my perfume hill to die on. People love to hate this scent, but I’ve worn it for over a decade. What I get is a bright hit of lime and guava that slides straight into cool woods, and it’s perfect. On my skin chem, there’s zero cinnamon and no big boozy blast either. Edited to say, there is some FAKE bottles out there with FAKE juice. (either that or Bond changed the sticker on the front to a printed bottle, - feel free to DM and enlighten me) And at first I was mad. But the scent was super at it's top note phase - Lime, effervescent and refreshing. (Exactly what my decade old bottles lacked.) however the dry down phase was lacking which made me suspicious. Anyway, I still love this scent, even if there is a question of authenticity.

This is GORGEOUS!!! It may slightly lean masculine but I will wear this as a woman too. The combination of notes is stunning, If sea notes make you happy and beachy scents, please give this a try! This is a citrusy beach scent, kind of along the lines of mancera holidays but with the unique mix of melon, TEQUILA, lime and the base notes creep a little at the end, particularly sandalwood. I love the subtle caramel and dark chocolate too, but if you want the notes it's definitely the top notes which are the strongest in the unique scent and steal the show. I can imagine this in Miami as a summer fresh scent. A must buy.

A vacation in a bottle. It is spring here. I just pumped this onto my neck. This might be the best aquatic I have ever found. It is very light and fresh. Initial opening smells like my just finished drink with ice and lime sitting in the bottom outside by the ocean. It has transported me away to a different time and place. A slight sweetness is keeping this far away from having a lemon pledge smell for me. It is very unisex. After the opening the middle moves to melon, still smelling a sea breeze though. Everything in this is right up my alley, dare I call it my aquatic gourmand?

Just received my sample of this. This is an extremely unique scent that pretty much smells like a beach vacation in a bottle. It smells like a breezy day on a yacht cruise that’s serving premium Tequila. Like you literally both smell and feel the cooling effect when you spray this on. That’s the Best possible way I can describe Coney Island. Despite being a great fragrance in my personal opinion, I will only wear this on a beach in hot weather climates where I intend on being around a lot of ocean water.

Bond No 9 put a fun, sunny Saturday afternoon in the park right into the bottle. Nothing serious, just some laughs, and maybe there was never any intention for this to ever be taken for anything other than just that. It just makes ya feel good when ya wear it. Has good longevity and the right amount of sillage. Smells bright, clean, and fun. The quality and construction are very good. Try it, you just might like it... Sunshine and heat are good for this fragrance and bring it to life.

This is a striking and unusual fragrance. It really intrigued me and has grown into a love. This smells like a Mexican getaway. Salt air, margaritas on the rocks, fresh tropical fruit salad (with Tajín on it!) and churros. Unisex leaning masculine, but I CRAVE this scent. It’s fresh, aquatic, ozonic, tropical, boozy, gourmand, spicy, animalic. It’s a loud exotic chorus. Performs well in heat, long lasting on me (6+ hours), moderate projection. Love it. You will smell different.

Giving this an initial full wearing today, and I must say, I have never encountered anything quite as unique, creative, versatile, and all-around wonderful upon first wearing as Coney Island. This will DEFINITELY become part of my collection and in the top 5 as well! Every sort of fragrance one can imagine, rolled into one. Unless you're only into "florals", you WILL find SOMETHING you love about this incredible fragrance! Worth every penny! A GENRE DEFYING... LOVE!!!

Great frag if you are on a beach, traveling to Santori, or just want something that brings a whole vibe for the summertime. I would say this has what Virgin Island Water is missing (although VIW is a great frag) also it has what Erolfa could be if it were to allow to drink gin, and it is a better compose version of Tommy Bahama St. Barts. That being said I really see this frag as being non offensive and a very nice frag for a collection.

This is my signature. I don't mind that not many like Coney island, it's quirky sits well on my skin and all my family and friends know me by this. I think its unique. I rocked it in my thirties ,enjoying it in my forties and know I will still be wearing this in my 80s (hopefuly I will still be around) wearing a fur coat and bright red lipstick not giving a shit riding the q train down to my beloved Coney island

I see mixed reviews and am happy to stick up for Coney Island. It's fun, creative, and smells delicious. I get a lot of compliments with this, but moreover, it's my "good mood" reach even when I'm just lounging about. Tropical notes play unexpectedly well with gourmand undertones, and it maintains a bright, summery presentation. The amusement park & boardwalk concept this evokes is spot-on.

A very laid-back, playful scent. Intense guava and caramel notes play on my skin for hours. Musk and vanilla eventually show up to extend the joy of wearing CI. With all its gourmand and fruity notes, it sounds like it could be a mishmash, but it's anything but! When I travel, I always pack Coney Island because it is calming, fun, and always provokes a smile from me.

I got a sample of this from Nordstrom and really like it at first. It is a wonderful scent for the summertime since the strong margarita and lime citrus is so prominent. However, there is seemingly absent note of carmel that is suppose to be reached that never developed on me. It lasted quite a while on me (7-8 hrs), but for the price I should smell it for 24hrs.

just got this in today as a blind buy, I have to say that I am very happy with it. It starts with a very realistic lime and tequila note, and evolves into funnel cake. definitely going to be wearing this lots during the summer!(I got this for 100$ off jomashop) sadly, this is discontinued though.

Adore. It stays citrusy on me. Very little gourmand. Perfect for a multi day work conference with social events in the evening. Am layering it over New York Chic body silk - use that on my legs and spray Coney Island on my neck, arms, chest. Wish there was a body silk for this, though.

I'm not sure why this one has so many negative reviews. It's interesting, unique, and pleasant. I think it's the perfect beach/vacation fragrance. My wife also loves it on me, and there are very few niche fragrances I can say that about. A winner in my book!

Fantastic perfume in every way. Brings me back to my childhood days at fairs and amusement parks. Cotton candy, chocolate, funnel cake, you name it! Best worn during summertime in my opinion, since it has a warm summer feel to it. Great perfume!

just got a sample for this after a little time away from smelling and I remember why I love this one; so unique and now I will be buying a nice fresh bottle for the warm weather coming in a few months.

A gorgeous fragrance for a hot day .I mostly get the citrus notes.

Bond no 9 CONEY ISLAND is such a quirky creation that it virtually cries out for hermeneutical analysis. Caveat lector... The acidic saline citrus opening evokes memories of one thing and one thing alone: the salty rim of a large margarita glass. The frosty blended green slush inside is strong and invigorating and, like an unexpected slap across the face, it leads quickly to a marked change in view to... a trip to a white sandy, wind-whipped beach, where vanilla ice cream cones are dripping faster than the children can lick them. The waffle cookie shell is slightly sweet and crunchy, shimmering in the sun, and the outer coating of chocolate is dark and sumptuous, softening slowly in the heat. Gleaming caramel swirls meander throughout the vanilla cream, yet somehow the ocean nearby keeps it all still salty, as though a white frothy wave splashed up on the eater's face as she prepared to take a bite, and a light mist of seawater sprayed into her mouth. Later, exhausted by the day's fun, it's time to sit and watch the setting sun, as darkness threatens quietly to descend. One by one the people begin to wander slowly through dimly lit labyrinthine paths back to their beds, where they will fall asleep and forget all of their worries and problems for a time. Lingering sweetness and light will fill their heads like a beatific vision, and they will dream only of salty caramels dusted with unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa as they drift gently away to an unreachable realm where there are no Blackberries or cellphones, and no one is asking anyone to follow them on Twitter. Only little Bo-peeps exist along with infinitely many miniscule sheep dotting the screen of the dreamer's shimmering green visual horizon like tiny white flower blossoms, bright stars illuminating the vast galaxy beyond. But what, in the end, does it all mean? you may ask. Your guess is as good as mine!

Starts with a smell of lemon, salt and fruit caipirinha (or margarita). Smell of beach and Sun. The Cedar could be felt in the very beginning. Is quite different. Nothing shy, great projection and dominates all of me. I mean, feel like I'm wearing a shield of lemon and salt. The salt note reminded me (I'm not comparing), Thierry Mugler's Womanity. Just came to my mind. Passed the effervescence of the lemon, appears a taste of cotton candy, candy apple and other goodies that we eat in amusement parks. But the smell of salty air remains all the time, now -one hour later-, with the musk and sandalwood in the background. Except for the chocolate, I could distinguish all the notes. Some more, other less intensity. Arriving and leaving, in their own time. The main attraction for me was, although it is a complex fragrance, it is extremely simple and objective on the sensations it wants to wake up to. I hadn’t been in Coney Island, but the smell makes me imagine I'm there, sitting on a warm and cloudy evening, watching gulls do party in dumpsters (there is really anything dirty, I think is the guava which gives that feeling), and having memories of a beautiful summer day. Maybe because I’m not safe to use this perfume on a really hot day in the tropics. The smell sticks to the skin and stays for a reasonable time. I bought six decants of Bond No 9, but when I chose the full bottles, this was not among them. Preferred New York Oud, New Haarlem, and So New York.Not regretted it exactly, but it's the first on the list for future acquisition, along with Chinatown.

Coney Island is a weird yet fun fragrance. First of all, I was surprised to see a fragrance with these type of notes being marketed for summer use. Cinnamon, chocolate, cedar? YIKES! Well...... Not so much. :) Coney Island is a unique composition that starts off with a blast of melon, cinnamon & aqua notes. The beginning is strong & comes at you full force, but don't let that steer you away from this beauty. As it mellows down after a couple of hours, the musk, chocolate, lime & melon all appear on my skin in harmony with no note outdoing the other. Coney Island projects nicely and last about 8 hours on my skin, which is good for a summer marketed fragrance as many of them are fleeting. I would think the cinnamon, chocolate, cedar & sandalwood are responsible for the fragrance holding up thus far along with higher quality of materials used. The only thing problem I find with Coney Island is versatility! If your not going to a beach & or amusement park, picnic, maybe even a zoo, I don't see where this would fit in. I would not wear this to the office as it does not fit in with that type of setting at least for me. I do applaud Bond No 9 for creating a fragrance such as this. They stepped out on a limb & ran like the dickens! Rather you like this or not, it deserves credit for what it is.

Got this one in the mail today for sample purposes. I have heard a lot about how it is very beachy and a great scent all around. I heard it was like Creed's Virgin Island Water which I own and figured I'd spend $10 and get a sample to see what the hype was about. I sprayed 1 spray on my hand and 8 hours later it is still going. I really like it. I think this is totally a summer scent. On my skin it is very Lime, Tequila, Melon, and Guava heavy. It stayed that way for a few hours. Nothing else came through on my skin until like 3 or 4 hours later and it was dark chocolate creeping in to tone back the lime and booze.. I still get melon and guava throughout and tiny bits of caramel mixing with the chocolate. This scent is unisex for sure.. but not in the sense that it is unisex where it's totally a woman's scent like Sag Harbor. I would say it is dead center. I've never worn a scent that could go both ways. It's great. My wife loved it and now I am debating buying a bottle. I do love the bottle and how it looks. As for this being like VIW.. I don't think so. It goes in its own direction. Worth trying if you have never smelled this before. 8/10 for me. Best in summer on hot days.

This used to be my beach scent in 2009/2010/2011. I kid you not. I'd spray this and hit the New England shores in the summertime. I was quite fond of it at that time for its margarita with lime meets ethyl maltol cotton candy meets dessert caramel homofuranol (of course I didn't know what either ethyl maltol or homofuranol was at the time, this was a number of years before I dove into perfume making). Yes, there is also a watermelon ketone and other aquatic materials here, too, and it does verge on egg custardy, which would account for why some are put off by it. I somehow had no issue with it then, but I had long ago sold what was a half bottle of it left and haven't smelled it for ten years or so. Now that my palate is much more discriminating, I wonder how I'd react to it today. It's certainly not a style of fragrance I'd seek out today, though. I'll give you that. This was the one and only Bond No. 9 I ever owned. I could never get past just how infuriatingly garish the bottles look.

This is not for everyone.. it’s not an it factor perfume . However, it’s bright crisp and fresh on skin on a humid day. It came in my Bon Bon Box I bought at Nordstrom. It was my least favorite and I felt it smelled masculine in the air and on paper. I happen to accidentally pack it when I went to Fort Myers Florida . It was 98 degrees yesterday and very humid . After my EOS fresh lotion this was the only thing I applied and it shined as my body warmed up.. yes it’s screechy yes it’s has an alcohol opening and yes it is not a sexy scent but as weird as this sounds it smells good when you sweat .. it’s like a a refreshing margarita. My fiancé said it wasn’t a sexy scent but he said he enjoyed my trail .. that in the heat my scent was refreshing . So no you’re not going to be the seductress with this perfume but you will smell like a refresher or spritzer that awakens the senses of those you walk past on a hot day

This was the fragrance that got YouTuber Sebastian in trouble when he trashed it and got into it with the brand. Based on this and other negative reviews, I didn't think I'd like it. But this fragrance proves just how subjective scent is, because I do like it. The perfumer did a great job capturing the scent of Coney Island. This smells like different carnival foods intertwined in the air at the fairgrounds, and a light sea breeze. This is not overly sweet and the marine accord doesn't go overboard. Not challenging at all even in the high heat. This does not smell like your typical high heat fragrance like tommy bahama St Barts or CK summer. This is much better and stronger in all performance measurables. Scent 7/10 Performance 7/10

This is a curious one. It does smell like a fruity cocktail being drunk by the sea shore. The citrus wains quickly and the aquatic element really kicks in. I think my skin really accentuates the musk. I can't pick out the cocoa. The alcoholic note is strong on me. I quite liked it at the start but it becomes to much of a boozy/aquatic/musk scent. The wood notes never get allowed to surface on my skin. It also smells overwhelmingly chemical. The sillage gets to moderate in this warm room. The longevity is above average. Sadly I'm going to have to scrub this off.

Although this is a citrusy fragrance, it lasts and lasts for a long time. I wore this to work and only sprayed like 10 spritz but it was too strong. People could smell me miles away and I also got compliments throughout the day. You don’t need more than 5 sprays or else 😅. It’s also a unique fragrance due to the lime and tequila notes. You’d love this if you are into weird scents. BTW, it’s more than 24 hours and I’m still smelling it in my dress as if I just sprayed it. Overall, I’ll give it a 4.5 out of 5 👌

I have never smelt such a dynamic fragrance, the notes change drastic in the matter of minutes to hours. Amazing in that sense. The opening is a sweet margarita mix fusion with lime and salts. Its smells dead on to a margarita drink. Very fresh very appealing. The mid turns into a heavy chocolate and carmel. Huge change from what the opening was...almost as if you were wearing another fragrance. The dry down reminds me over a hot funnel cake. the most creative and fun fragrance deserves more attention!

Purchased because the idea of a fragrance that's like a summer's day at an old amusement park was intriguing and this delivered. For me it leans a bit masculine but not so much so that it wouldn't work for women. There's a margarita in here, some cedar for the wooden roller-coasters, salty beach aromas and a handful of sweets for the food vendors. Different, evocative and nicely put together. A unique summer fragrance that's much like an experience.

An intriguing fragrance with a bright fresh lime alcohol opening followed by some sweet melon like smoothness. After about 15 mins you get wafts of some of that cinnamon accord that really is like a churro or funnel cake. After a bit it was a pure fresh aquatic scent with salty airy vibes and a little citrus, this part kinda reminded me of D&G Light Blue intense. Great for a sunny hot day especially at the beach. Makes me want to visit coney island

So indecisive with this 1. A unique scent for sure. At times i get a off putting stomach turning smell at the start. As i start catching wiffs of it, im getting hit with saltwater on a breezy day at the ocean with my glass of alcohol spilled on my skin. im getting like some caramel at the base as i conclude with this. this is not your typical summer aquatic beachy designer scent. this is a wonderful unique experience in my opinion.

Super-duper fun though kind of a difficult wear. The salty melon / cocoa combo is such a playful contrast, but what is the right occasion to rock this? Other than a day at an amusement park or a July picnic it's completely out of place. Don't get it twisted... I love this juice, the craft of it is genuinely underrated, but it's tough to get away from the novelty of it. It's the olfactory equivalent owning a swimming pool in Alaska.

Lemon head candy! First spray: Realistic lime margarita Mid: Lemon head candies...I get a lemonade vibe with this sweet funky undertone..very unisex leaning more towards the feminine side..honestly this could be a children fragrance. Dry down: fresh aquatic (aqua di gio feel) with lemon lime in the background Fun scent for the summer...close to skin but last a long time...don't think its worth the price tag though!!!!!!!

I've had the same bottle since I bought it back in 08 and the scent has stayed basically the same. The reason i still have a good amount left is because itnis very strong. You only need to use a little to get noticed which is nice. Trust me, you will def get noticed in this. It's very different than a lot of other perfumes which is something i like. I can't wear it everyday, but wheni do, i always get noticed.

The weirdest fragrance. The initial spray is almost revolting. 20 minutes later it becomes wearable with nice guava and Margarita (the drink). Hours later it smells amazing with dark chocolate. If you can tolerate the first 20 to 30 minutes you will get a lot of compliments. No more than three sprays are needed as this is one of old Bonds mega power fragrances. Just for summer.

This is a very nice summer fragrance - one that i never reached for the whole time I had it. But none the less, it does smell good. In actual, it smells like a salted brim margarita spilled all over me and it makes me a little upset that I wasted my money on such an expensive margarita when I could have bought one cheaper. A unisex fragrance that leans male.

I get a sharp chemical citrus with this perfume, but that doesn’t mean that I dislike it. The scent is so sharp, so biting, so sour and lemony, that it is doing something intriguing, something interesting, and because of that I’ll give it a slight thumbs up. It's not great, but it's certainly good, and it leaves me questioning. I like that.
