Dubai Amber

Dubai Amber is a special, special scent. I'm a big fan of Bond, I have four Bond fragrances now and I think this one might be my favorite. Now that I think about it, this might be the best amber scent ever created. It's rich, strong, smooth...unisex, leaning masculine. The oud gives it an edge and uniqueness that separates it from other amber fragrances. It's got a middle eastern vibe no doubt but it's not a typical middle eastern fragrance in that the amber is the star of the show. Projection is phenomenal, sillage amazing. It's just a special scent that you're not smelling on anyone else. It smells like money, it's got a ton of character and it's got an extremely addictive quality that you don't find often in an otherwise very saturated fragrance market. Dubai Amber is just that scent. Dubai Amber is him. Dubai Amber is it. God is good.

If Bond came out with a Dubai Amber EXTRADOSE, with the oud being even more emphasized, i would buy that, too. This fragrance is so upscale and perfect for what it sets out to be that i grow more enamored with it every time i wear it. A true shirt lifter, this is. SIDE NOTE: i edited the list of fragrances that i own— just made a more curated and representative-of-what-i-wear list versus everything i actually own— and realized Bond is my favorite house. I’m legit shocked to be saying that, but i have more fragrances from them on my “forever” list than any other house. I’m also shocked by what didn’t make the list...yet, at least.

I would say that Rasasi Al Wisam Evening smells similar. But not exact by any means. I do love this one more however and find it easier to wear. I have been wearing this one everyday. It's just the way I like it, one reviewer said waffles and another said sex, I agree with both, but it's not as raunchy as some of the others I own. You can keep your freshies and your aquatic pink unicorn frappachino perfumes, I prefer Turkish coffee and high octane motor fuel, so I will cherish this one, It's the only one I own from Bond, I have yet to smell any others in the Dubai collection. Favorite in my collection!!!

My favorite amber. Not too sweet, not too loud... Perfect. Smells exactly how you would think amber would smell, not as a perfume but, as an odor. At least how I would conceive it. MUST try on skin. Smelling it other wise may come across too animalic or even too sweet (to some). On skin you'll find the sweetness is solely there to counter the animalic notes. Also it's persistent. So altho it's never in your face (loud) it does linger into your nostrils as you go about your day. Do NOT over spray. Doing so will only ruin the experience. Upscale. Masculine. Unique. 10/10 for me.

Opens up sweet, quickly drys down into a tart, gooey, resinous oud. Oud & Amber very prominent. Oud teeters between barnyardy & sweet, probably something like a 60/40 split. Very potent, spray cautiously. Any oriental fragrance lover should enjoy this without a doubt; not for those looking to get into Orientals for the 1st time, too strong for that.

An Expensive beast but worth every penny. Smells expensive, really smooth and complex as hell. One spray and that ́s it. Smells niche but still wearable and gathers a ton of attention. Try it out if you can

the best amber money can buy. period! good lord this is what money should smell like, if fancy was a smell, it would smell like dubai amber...

If you are a die hard amber fan....one word for this creation....Orgasmic......

This is one of those fragrances that's fun to wear because it feels like an occasion each time I wear it. It opens with a powdery, resinous, initial sweetness reminiscent of gourmand pancakes and syrup 🥞 After that you get Oud. Even though it's not listed in the notes, trust me it's here. The oud here is not western. It's the slightly barnyard variety and it definitely has civet because it feels animalic. This would be a good beginner fragrance for someone that is looking to try Middle Eastern Oud perfume because the oud is not overpowering (provided you go easy on the trigger). Slightly daring but could be very daring for someone not used to Oud and Civet. Sample First. Fall/Winter/Spring. Long lasting and projects well. Smell 7/10 Performance 8.5/10 Update: I bought a full bottle. The more I wore this the more I loved it. It's a beautiful animalic amber that makes me feel like a middle eastern Prince eating pancakes and Belgian Waffles.

Definitely suitable for oud and amber fans. My sample isn't a spray and I unintentionally doused my arm to the point of almost getting a headache. This stuff is still going strong, even after an immediate rinse and application of hand sanitizer. I may have to do another proper try out as I didn't perceive any of the top notes initially. I get the pepper, saffron, and a bare hint of vanilla and some floral note, maybe rose. I prefer to wear more intimate fragrances. Did I mention it's woody?

This is a rich, opulent, bold Middle Eastern style amber, saffron scent. There is no hidden funky chemical mess hidden, thank goodness. Unfortunately lately many niche companies add these kind of ingredients to enhance the longevity and silliage. This one is definitely high quality. It is warm and hugging, thumbs up.

It's a very funky (oudy) woody type of amber; I actually quite like it! If you find this a little too much--both the scent and the price, Zegna's Amber Gold is a good alternative :)

Smells like funky, sweaty, musky private parts with toffee treacle spread over. Very rude! Lol. Personally, I think of is vile, but as the saying goes: "One man's poison is another one's pleasure!"

FIRST SNIFF: While standing at the Bond no9, being treated to the 9 dubai scents one at a time, This one stood out from the rest as the most unique, and different. It has a strong acidic almost rancid amber-oud-wood, tastefully tempered with a generous helping of sweet new harlem style coffee and waffles. It is a very shrill scent, and it teeters on the edge of being easily cloying (likely to induce headaches I am sure!) So be careful of when an where you choose to wear this one. There is not a lot of evolution in this scent, it remains steady and strong over time. From application to dry-down, it is true to its advertisement. IN THE BRAND FAMILY: I found 3 of the 9 Dubai collection to be remarkably interesting, Amber most of all. I believe that if you like new Harlem, you will like this, because IMO it is a 'roided up, rich cousin of it. FULL-BOTTLE-WORTHY? Yes PARTING THOUGHTS: This is a strong strong strong scent. It's linear but dynamic and interesting. If you like oud, amber, or amaretto coffee scents this is a must try. It stands apart from anything else I have ever smelled. A marvelous scent that will last you decades, because it's a one spray and done kinda scent.

I had kinda quit wearing this in 2023 & recently I started back wearing this some & every time I get complemented left & right 8 plus hours in!! I was on this amber kick at one point in my buying of fragrances with ones like Grand Soir etc & now bored of almost all of them lol. But not this one!! My initial though not long after blind buying it was a man had on an oud fragrance & a woman had on Grand soir & had wild crazy sex and left the sheets smelling like this & sweat & whatever else lol!! I can see this being loved or hated & not much in between! This has a lil more sweetness taken from it with whatever it is they done..It’s smooth amber flirting around with the addition of castoreum & a bit of that stanky oud? Perhaps?? It’s just what I think & not what I know so Hope the Oud Police don’t come for me! Maybe just enough maybe to peak one’s interest with just a touch of skank. I have recieved some complements on this one lately But again can see many people also not liking this one, But on the right person with the right personality I’d say this one is special!

This fragrance is a pure Powerhouse Amber. It opens up with a bit of that Middle Eastern good funky oud vibe with a plum fruity note, remnants of Andy Warhol "the face" juice. It's not a in your face oudy smell that's off-putting but more of a playful sweet synthetic imitation of the real thing. The oud scent only hovers around for 15 to 20 minutes. After that it's starts to dry down in a very sweet vanilla and sappy amber with a touch of lite florals and turns into a slightly powdery sweet amber. After the first hour the sent becomes linear for the next 12 plus hours. My overall experience with the fragrance was very wonderful not to mention a sweet smelling compliment getter. Longevity is 12 hrs. Scent trail is 3 to 4 feet. Price point is $550...is it worth it?Well that very subjective, it all depends on who the individual. There are "oud ambers" out there that's just as good for a fraction of the price, like Montale Paris library of fragrances. Overall this Bond no. 9 Dubai collections is quality juice but it comes with a Manhattan price tag.

This is straight up civet to my nose, with a touch of amber. Very sour, acidic, animalic, and acrid. It does get less intense over time. Reading reviews I thought this would be more gourmandish in the dry down but I get very minimal sweetness or much to offset the civet note. I got this to introduce myself to animalic fragrances and it definitely did. Not sure I would ever wear this in public but I’ll hold onto it and revisit it later and see if it becomes more appealing when my nose develops more. For now I can use this when I get sick of sweet fragrances and want something different. After wearing this it definitely makes me miss sweet fragrances again. I got this for a good price online, nobody should ever pay retail for this. After 7 hours the sweetness finally takes over and the animalic nature dies down and it’s actually quite nice. A very daring scent for bond no 9.

I love this Amber Oud fragrance. It is just superb. I get nothing but Amber & Oud & I love it. Lasting power is 12 hours. I would say that this is more of an evening fragrance for special occasions. This is going to get a lot of wears as soon as the summer season is over, as its a colder weather scent in my opinion. That being said, I have been wearing it now, although its summer. I nabbed this for a great deal on Maxaroma. When the mail man walked up to my front door, he would not let go of the package until I signed for it. I went to take the package from him as he looked overwhelmed with his hands full because of typing into his machine the delivery notice for me to sign. He held tight onto the package until I signed for it. Usually, I get handed a package & then asked to sign. Not on this occasion though. I could not help but laugh when thinking about that incident.

Borderline animalic but still wearable without being too offensive. The amber isn't particularly sweet and the oud is leaning more banyard, and even though it's not mentioned in the notes it is there and you'll notice right away upon first spray. This fragrance is strong so go easy on the sprayer. Middle Eastern scent through and through, and it will certainly get you noticed. Would easily compliment Ruby from the same line - beautiful melange when layered.

Omg, such an incredible scent. This thing is strong, powerful, it's NUCLEAR😳🤭, a few sprays and you are good to go. It will last 24 hours plus more, lol. If you like oud note, then you'll love this. I find this quite similar to "SHAGHAF OUD" by Swiss Arabian.

Amber & a bit of castoreum perhaps? Amber & sex? I dunno, Just seems like a dirty amber, But in a really good way!! Offers so much more than a lot of other amber frags. I always reach for this one or Rania J’s Ambre Loup over my dusty bottle of Grand Soir!

price a side its an wonderful fragrance, i have tried many amber perfumes and i own a lot of them, this one is the safest one that everybody will like, sweet and fruity at the beginning then woody and Amber in the base but still try before you buy.

This is one of the most nostril-burning fragrances I've ever smelled, right up there with Zoologist Beaver and Chanel Egoiste. That's not to say that it's bad. It is just so pungent that it feels as though your nostrils are on fire
