Dubai Gold

One of the best sandalwood fragrances I've tried. The brandy is sweet and strong in the opening, but mellows out in the dry down, focusing on the sandalwood, cedar, and saffron. The oils in this fragrance are very high quality. A very dry, woody, and classy fragrance. The spices are blended very well with this fragrance. Lasts 8 plus hours with a medium to strong projection. Can be worn in dressed up situations, or going out when your dressed well. Unisex fragrance that leans masculine, but a woman can rock this one too if you're into very woody scents. As much as I love Bond No 9 and this fragrance, I personally think it's overpriced at retail, but when you can pick it up at discounters in the mid $200s, you're getting a very high quality fragrance. Looking to wear more from the Dubai line, as I believe it's a very overlooked and underrated line of fragrances. Overall: 8/10

I FINALLY got a this one thanks to my brother selling me his bottle. I've wanted this ever since the first time I smelled it but I'm too cheap to pay full price, or even half price. This is mostly brandy, saffron, bitter orange, woods and musk with a pinch of oud and ginger. I've tried almost everything from Bond because I'm a fragrance nerd, and this is in my top 5 from the house. The boozy musky slightly powdery woods in this one are magic ✨ Very unique; and performance is great with excellent longevity and sillage. Definitely not suitable for hot weather; only cool/cold weather, night out scent. The only reason this doesn't get a perfect 10 is it's friggin SWEET (in the opening) and needs time to calm down. Scent 9.7/10 Performance 9/10

This one is great, maybe leaning a little more masculine, but I can wear too with no hassle. Unlike many other Bond scents (there is a definite Bond DNA to many of the openings), this particular opening really does surprise you with the bitter citrus note right upfront, but it is no bad thing at all. It melts down quickly into a boozy incense ball of warmth and comfort which is just gorgeous! Imho, this is a very, VERY well put together fragrance, and absolutely worth at least a sample!!!

Bond No 9 Dubai Gold is a bold and long lasting lasting scent for mature fragrance enthusiasts. It is warm, boozy and spicy. The ingredients are top notch. I would never pay $600 for any fragrance but it is well worth $246. This fragrance is not for teenagers or those who have not started a Roth IRA. This is a grown up fragrance that commands presence and attention.

Absolute Gem 💎 Very reminiscent of Overture Man to my nose but the difference is Dubai Gold doesn’t have that musty nasty body odor smell that Overture Man has in the opening. Very boozy woody and sweet. Slight powdery as it dries down. 10/10 🔥🔥 YouTube: Sirgarythe1st

Dubai Gold opens with oud, saffron, and brandy on my skin, with oud being the dominant note. The oud is strong and noticeable, but it is refined. It lets you know it is there, but does not slap you in the face like dome other oud dominant fragrances do. As it settles, I get the powdery, musky sandalwood with hints of citrus. Overall a very well blended and high quality scent. I get good longevity, but moderate projection on my skin. This leans more masculine to my nose. I can see this in formal or upscale casual clothing. If you like refined oud scents you should try a sample of this one. Shout out to Greg in Cincinnati for the sample!

Honesty I'm not very impressed; gold has become a popular theme and I have yet to find one that evokes something golden...I wish this one had more "sparkly" spices, amber, and honeyed saffron. I'd rank it alongside Emerald, after Jade, Black Sapphire, and Amber.

This perfume has a diverse profile which makes it unique. Opening up it's a warm saffron, 30 minutes away it's a beautiful woody accord and after 2 hours it's a sweet musky one.

This is almost identical to Dubai Ruby, better suited for day time wear. The same Oud DNA is present here, almost as a lab variation. I like it very much.

Very baby powdery but still nice.

First impression of Dubai Gold is: nice, but smells like a Montale release. Starts with orange and some fruityness (black currant maybe?) and a hefty dose of patchouli, which reminds me of Amouage's Jubilation XXV but done with less subtelty. Almost at the same time a solid sandalwood block of aromachems emerges toghether with Iso E and some woods (driftwood) giving the impression of oud (like I said before, in a Montale's way). As Led Zep would say The scent remains -almost- the same throughout the entire lifetime, which happens to be a lot as previous reviewers stated. Overall it's not an original smell (unlike Black Sapphire for eg) nor a top quality one (at least to my nose) and would be 'ok' at, let's say, 150 usd per 100ml. At retail price it's just a rip-off but in a fancy bottle.

Very nice spicy/woody/amber scent. Definitely evokes images of the Arabian desert. I was really attracted to the warm, exotic, character of Dubai Gold at first.....then I saw the price tag. $550 for this? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Go home Bond, your're drunk.

Picked up a sample at the Bond counter. Opens very fruity and a little bit bright with maybe some Musk and woodsy notes with. The booziness comes through too. It did not last long at ALL!!! Not impressed for the retail of $550!

My feelings are pretty neutral on this one. It isn't a bad scent by any means, but it just doesn't fit my vibe on any occasion. If you're an older, wealthy gentleman you could definitely rock this.

The predominant smell is a typical Bond with a gourmand note. Nice but not my fav. Just okay -

Dude... seriously at these prices?? After defending this brand like a moron for three years I'm starting to realize Bond No. 9 has captivating openings but lackluster designer-like dry downs. This one smells extremely sweet, fruity, and woodsy in it's opening but reeks of Bath and Body works into it's development. For $40 online you can find something that smells just as sweet yet a tad sexier than this. What a rip off! Gold? More like platted gold! Ugh EDIT: Performance on this thing is highly offensive. EXTREMELY difficult to wash off. The pinnacle of cloying. Smell gets extremely obnoxious after the four hour mark. Just don't buy this sweet overpriced poop in a bottle. Come at me bruh!

I went to Saks yesterday to find something new this year to give as a gift for Christmas. I had looked thru several Bond 9 reviews and descriptions. When the sales clerk gave me a sample of Dubai Gold the first thing that came to my mind to describe it was the smell of burning incense at a Catholic church. After it dried the smell got better. The runner ups were New York Nights and Madison Ave. I kept coming back to Dubai Gold as the final choice. It had a captivating smell, warm, pleasant, and not over whelming. I liked it so well I bought 2 bottles. Don't tell anyone but I may keep the second bottle for myself.

Tried this on my last visit to Saks. It opens up sharply with woods and is quickly tamed with intoxicating musk. It reminds me of Pegasus by Parfums de Marly but without the cool powdery notes. Instead warm and spicy wood accords play with the subtly present ginger. It projected quite well for over six hours. Certainly a pricey option but the bottles aesthetic says it all. Dubai Gold lives up to it's name.

Creamy scent, saffron and sandalwood come through prominently to me, subtle milky nuances with a touch of sweetness, somewhat gourmand. Well put together scent, stays close to skin, excited to try the others from the Dubai line.

Great scent, at high price niche quality.
