SEE ALSO: Harrod's Swarovski Limited Edition (Fragrantica perfume #7166, 2009) This is, in fact, the same fragrance WITHOUT the crystal-adorned sparkly bottle and cap...and in my opinion, the jewel of the entire BOND No9 Harrod's Collection. Originally created by Laurent LeGuernec, in 2009, this was available online and in boutiques and select counters in Level 1 stores. After a call to shoppe at 9 Bond St NY,NY this morning I found out that it is now only available from the boutiques (no online availability) and the wonderful SA was not sure if the production of this scent was to be continued. *pauses to dab tears at the thought...* I have a call into the PR liaison at Bond and will update info here as soon as I find out. Even with the dark smoky Harrod's Agarwood in the gold & black flacon; I find that owning both (despite the hefty pricetag of either bottle, plain or adorned) would not be redundant...and am now locking my precious decant of THIS in my fragrance vault, until I know for sure. Wouldn't it be ironic if Fragrantica listed this plain bottle only AFTER it became unavailable to the masses??! I, for one, always thought (until a few years ago when I reviewed this at another perfume blog) that the 100 ml Swarovski bottle for $625.00 USD was the ONLY way to own it. Bottles DO in fact remain at the NYC stores, and the price increase of early this year means that; if it is available, it'll be in excess of $335.00 USD-and well worth it!! *fingers & nostrils crossed it stays around* NB: Notes of rose and saffron are also in this jus

Extremely unique juice with the unusual combination of green and animalic accords (my favorite combo). Two accords unlisted here are a big, rich (expensive) musk, and a fat dollop of galbanum.

Accurate note breakdown. Smooth and fresh with a mild green tinge. The damp vetiver base really shines over a bed of cumin and an amberous overtone. Good, linear mix. Very wearable but very mature. Somewhat animalic.

This is a spittin' image of Songe d'un Bois d'Ete. Very well done. Long lasting. It's a dry, animalistic beauty that women would love too. Syrupy, leathery feel to it also. Songe d'un Bois d'Ete is one of my favorites, and this is an identical twin, if possible. I don't know if Harrods Oud is still available, though.
