I Love New York for Her

To me, this is a very interesting, beautiful fragrance and unlike any other I've experienced. In New York, there's so much going on that, if you blink, you'll miss it. This perfume is the same way. The opening is delicious spiced fruits and candied flower petals. You're transported to a corner store in NYC on a summer morning... the aroma of warm, fresh-baked blueberry muffins and fruity pastries is wafting up from behind the counter but, as you walk outside onto the street, you smell the bouquets of flowers being sold at the store front, their fragrance enhanced by the balmy humidity. The spicy sweetness of blueberry, mandarin, nutmeg, and vanilla merge with the roses and peonies. Just as the flippant, flirty fruits and florals make you feel so light and airy you think you'll float away, the leather and sandalwood emerge and keep you grounded in the Concrete Jungle. The base notes give this pink perfume a distinctly "urban", badass edge- as unexpected and titillating as a woman whose black leather underwear is peeking out from underneath her cotton-candy pink dress and innocent facade. She catches you staring at her and gives you the finger, displaying a perfectly polished manicure. Finally, you're at the dry down and there's something almost metallic underneath everything going on in this fragrance... and you get a glimpse of the train rumbling under her feet, beneath the city... and then it's gone. The dry down is quiet, pretty, and sweet. I Love NY for Her is very unique and memorable to me- an interesting blend of all different kinds of notes, which perfectly represents a city where all different types of smells are simultaneously competing for your attention. This fragrance is as busy as the city is, warm one second and cool the next, as if you're walking on the sidewalk, moving between the sunlight and the shadows of the buildings. It's feminine but not demure- it's so powerful and full of life. I don't think this is an everyday fragrance but I like to wear it on special occasions, or when I just miss home, better known as "The Big Apple".

Oh sweet Jeezus!!! I just want to scream from the roof-- I love this!! I'm a 35 year old gourmand lover... the sweeter the better! I like them foody, I like the fruity, I like them spicy, I like them with vanilla... And this blind buy was a SCORE! I'm in love! I found a helluva deal on a new 3.4 tester with 2 samples (that way if I hated the samples, I could still sell off the unused tester) but damn-- this is delicious! IT IS blueberry muffins! But not in a 100% food way. There is the underlying patchouli and the florals, which can throw the scent off sometimes. The opening is HELLA CANDY blueberry/grape lollipops. With a funky floral bit, and some weird sharpness from the nutmeg? And then it calms down and stays with the blueberry sweet. Then some flowers come out, and it's beautiful. Like fresh baked blueberry crumble next to a vase of fresh flowers. On my skin, in about 4 hours, it went thru all 3 stages, and dried down to nothing but patchouli. I hate patchouli, but.... this was soft and worth it for the rest of the fragrance. On clothes, it mostly stays in the 1-2 stage range for many more hours. It's softly long lasting, but not a huge sillage bomb. I used quite a few sprays this morning (8 over the course of 2 hours) in hopes it lasts me all day. Right now I have a light hint on my wrists and my shirt doesn't smell like much, but I do get whiffs as I move around, or go outside (in the 50 degree Fall). This is my very first Bond (a blind buy too) so I can't comment on the quality of other Bonds. I did order NY For ALL because I'm obsessed with coffee gourmands like Pink Sugar Sparks and Black Opium. I can't wait!

This was a blind buy, a rather expensive one at that. As soon as I received it I was full of expectations, and I was not disappointed. I knew from first sniff this was going to be a favourite. Even then, I didn't know how much this would grow on me. The first thing you will notice is that this isn't polarising and strange like niche can be. It's familiar and reminiscent of several perfumes I've encountered in the mainstream range. It's impossible to pinpoint exactly what this reminds me of, even if I tried. It's a unique, addictive and special take on a theme done to death, namely the fruitchouli. It's very fruity, juicy and sweet but also with a great depth and a bit of soap in the same way a blueberry shampoo can smell sweet and good enough to eat. All in all, this is a FRUITY CHYPRE - there is no discernible vanilla or bakery scent to this at all, to my nose. I disagree with the placement in the oriental vanilla family. The patchouli is sweet and acts the same here as in for example Miss Dior Cherie, Flowerbomb, Jimmy Choo and Allure Sensuelle by Chanel. You get the drift. It's incredibly girly and fun, in the same berry vein as Midnight Fantasy, and has that extra something to make me aware of it every time I get whiffs of it from my clothes. It lasts and lasts, making itself known several days later. Gourmand? Edible? Yes, in the hard candy way, not the pastry way. Your dentist will hate you. Did I mention how much I love this scent?

I am beyond IN LOVE!!!! My only complaint is that you can definitely tell that the I Love NY line of Bond is their "economy" line. All their other higher end fragrances last 14+ hours on me, but this only last about 5-6 :( BOOOOOO and silage definitely leaves something to be desired! So I just walk around sniffing my hair and wrists because it stays very close to the skin after the first hour :(. I wish they would make a higher quality version of this fragrance that matches the "BOND" quality! I WOULD DEFINITELY buy it regardless the price tag! It definitely reminds me of walking by a NYC bakers in the spring and summertime. I am not typically a fan of patchouli but this scent has me IN LOVE! I see NO resemblance between this and Angel other than they both have patchouli in it, but Angel is overwhelming and Bond 9 is light, flirty, and sophisticated! Bond has hit the nail on the head with this gourmand done Right! It opens up with a fruity sweet blueberry burst, and warms with vanilla icing, peonies, musk, and a subtle kiss of patchouli. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this beauty!!!! I literally just bought a bottle of the original Miss Dior Cherie (pre-2011 reformulation), and MDC could be I <3 NY's little sister!!!!!! I notice A LOT of similarities between the 2! Both are sweet and sophisticated patchouli gourmands done absolutely RIGHT!!!!! They definitely favor each other!!!!!!

Ah, shit. Shit, dubble shit. I hate when my stupid curiosity leads me to this cool, hard to get, fantastic perfumes that I under no circumstances can afford!! I really need this lovely sweet original perfume on my shelf. At first I thought it smelled exacly like one of the swedish classic ice creams for kids (a frozen ice popsicle with pear flavour) so my first impression was that New york for her was kind of childish and overly sweet (like a candy bag stufft with sour candy) so I spended my budget on a bottle of New york for all instead, thinking that that one was "so much more wearable", come again? well, yes, that was my thinking. Probably cause it was close to X-mas at the time. But ever since that I cant get New york for her out of my head! I don't remember the super sweet, strong opening anymore. I now recall this beautiful, sweet and slightly sour (?) extreamy creamy dry down that was a true delight to wear. Not very childish at all. A really unik gourmand perfume that's actually quite wearable after all ;) Recived a lot of compliments when I was wearing it at work, NO one refered to it as overly sweet or candyish. Like many Bonds the perfume has it's own life. It's one type of person in the morning (kind of aggressiv) and a compleatly different one in the evening!

This smells yummy but to sum it all up it smells like blueberries and Angel....strong blueberry and chocolate notes..you will have predominantly blueberries in the beginning but then the blueberries remain there but in the background and the chocolate takes places with the blueberry and you have the chocolate from Thierry Mugler's Angel...if you love Angel you will love this because it smells almost identical with blueberries..If this were just more blueberries this would be my signature but i actually love the spiciness of New Haarlem more cause when i smell that it stirs me up and that is what makes a scent special..I am already use to Angel but the blueberries keeps it interesting so i love it.if Bond ever makes just a true blueberry scent then its over that would be my top fragrance because blueberry just does something for me...anyone know of a perfume that has a true blueberry scent besides midnight fantasy that lasts a long time?

I am crazy about Mugler's perfumes, and I have a lot. A lot, lot. However, I stopped wearing Angel a long time ago, due to the massive embarrassment I felt a few years back while wearing Etoile Mystique. We were visiting the ultra-rich part of the city of Scottsdale, and everyone smelled beautiful, but me. Angel, as much as one can appreciate the craft behind it, has this dirty undertone, that in heat turns into something that resembles an unwashed body, and that is exactly what happened that day. After that, I never wore Angel again, despite purchasing few different versions of it after the "incident" However, I Love New York smells sophisticated and expensive. There is a slight resemblance to Angel, but it never turns dirty, it remains fresh and sweet, and it lasts and lasts and lasts. I really love this one, but this too, I wear sparingly. Definitely worth having in the collection, and it beats Angel by a mile.

The second scent I've loved from Bond No. 9! I really had lost hope in this house in the past, but it's coming back strong. I Love New York For Her opens up with the sweetest, bittersweet/sour blueberry lollipop notes, so tangy & full of warmth at the same time. Mouthwatering & playful, I'm pretty sure this perfume should come with dental insurance - because this is sweeeeeeeet, sweet, packed with sugar! The heart is full of patchouli, but with the initial candy notes lingering around, it still manages to come off as a strong gourmand. The drydown is much calmer, creamier, less zingy - more like a gentle, sugar-and-spiced sun-dried blueberry note, which is amazing! There's not much else in the atmosphere of this one besides innocence (in the best way possible, of course), and something fun/a novelty for your collection! I will definitely make the Full-bottle investment when I come across a great price!

For me I ♥ NY for her is the perfect balance of sweet gourmand but light enough for everyday wear. I don't get the blueberry muffin scent that other reviewers get although when a friend of mine tried this I smelled it so it just must be my skin. I do get vanilla fruitchouli that is unique and lasts all day. I've gotten so many compliments on this and it's nice that not a lot of people wear it. The initial blast to me smells similar to the wonderful dry-down of Angel but it soon morphs into it's own unique musky-vanilla-candy scent. My only gripe about this is the price, I think it's worth every penny they charge but the price keeps me from spraying too liberally. Like all Bonds the quality is excellent, longevity is excellent 8+ hours and sillage is perfect (not in your face but wafts of scent throughout the day). I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

This is stunning and gorgeous. It's a lot of patchouli and musk (which I adore) and a sweetness that reminds me of raspberry with a hint of rose. I received this as a Mother's Day gift from my kids who know New York via whirlwind family vacations. They understand how much of my soul remains there. Despite having lived most of my life in Southern CA I was born in New York, and I will always be a New Yorker as far as I'm concerned. The "I *heart* NY" campaign was an integral part of local advertising when I was growing up, so it makes me feel both nostalgic and inspired. There's something addictive about this juice and it's making me ignore all my other beautiful perfumes. I want to wear I Love New York For Her all the time. I think this fragrance is unique, sexy, fun, attractive, and I love it. And I LOVE NY!

I was expecting this to smell like Angel (which smells terrible on me.) I received a sample from a perfume boutique by my job and at first whiff, I thought it was kind of like every other sweet gourmand scent out there. About 5 minutes in, it hit me - I started to smell the beautiful, rich aroma of the middle notes. I was even happier with the dry down; it isn't powdery and musky like so many other gourmands out there. I really smelled the vanilla and leather and it was just stunning. As others stated, try this before you buy it. It is definitely not for everyone. I am a lover of sweet scents but not necessarily gourmands, and namely vanillas but I don't think this is a typical vanilla fragrance so I would suggest trying a sample, being that it is rather pricey.

This is amazing! I can smell the citrus, blueberry and nutmeg, and the patchouli is not as overwhelming as in something like Angel. I am now obsessed and I REALLY want a bottle. Luckily, this one is more affordable than any other Bond No. 9 Perfume! -------- Edit: This smells NOTHING like Angel. I just wanted to make this comparison because the last reviewer said it had a blast of patchouli like Angel, and I just wanted to say that I do not agree. ----- Edit: One more time... Ok I wore this aaalll day and it smells divine, like warm blueberry muffins. Don't hate me for saying this but this reminds me of a more expensive and well-balanced (and patchouli-based) version of Midnight Fantasy. I love it!!!!

I didn't expect to love this perfume considering the "for her" line on the perfume name, and when I see the color of the bottle I was like, "this must be very girly and all", hence it never occurred to me to try on this one from Bond (even though I'm a Bond fanatic)... but thanks to the reviewers here, I decided to give it a try, and wow, hahaha it's a very pleasant blueberry muffin scent, and I think guys can pull this off too... I Love New York for Him is too generic, and smells like designer perfume, but IMHO, this one is a yummy treat for unisex. As for the longevity and projection, it's the usual Bond standard... both are good, 8 hours minimum.

Pretty surprised how well this one is working out for me, as most of the other Bonds have not agreed with my chemistry. I enjoy the blueberry for the first half hour and then soft peonies and roses bloom in the air, and from then on a fluffy cloud of vanilla, not sweet, not bourbon, just so pretty, stays for hours and hours. That vanilla must be grounded by the other basenotes, but what I sense for the most part is a classy confection like a white wedding cake decorated with flowers, not yet cut, it’s just the vanilla fondant and floral aroma that is so enticing.

it felt sooo good to go from the I want button above to the I have button. satisfaction at last. I have loved this a long time but just held off as we do and it went away from my favorite department store to the gray market. maybe I should buy a back-up already. anyway from the moment I spray I am transported to a wonderful place. the first things I get are blueberry muffin and patchouli mixed in with a heavy dose of vanilla. It pretty much stays that way on me for a long time. Then eventually it fades to a soft rosy/vanilla palette of bliss. 10/10.

Love this fragrance! On the fence first time I tried it, since I didn't think it was very special or unique. I was sampling, and very enamoured with, New York For All at the time, so I didn't give it a true chance. Once I tried it again I fell in love! The blue berry muffin aroma stays throughout the whole day with a bit of the flowers joining the soiree. When the dry down is in full bloom, the musky and patchoulli notes mingle, but never dominate the flavorful blueberry muffin fragrance. I already have in hand a full bottle! LOVE IT!!

This is so pretty! A gourmand scent in the same category as TM's Angel, but sooooooooo much nicer. The top notes are soft; the blueberry muffin accord is very nice with a touch of mandarin and nutmeg. All the middle notes: the patchouli, the rose and the peony are very subtle. Vanilla, sandalwood and leather warm it and makes it smoky. The musk rounds it out nicely. Everything is beautiful and very well-balanced, just like all Bond No. 9 fragrances. The high-quality ingredients make this a spectacular blend.

OH MY GOSHHH!! I just want to get rid of all my other perfume and stay with this one! So juicy, sweet and creamy gourmand!!! So freaking classy!! SO FEMININE. I LOVE this soooo much! It last so long and draws so many compliments in this summer weather in Florida. I think it might be great for any season actually. Also right now I am scenting caramel and juicy fruit which is the blueberry. This is life to the max!! I will repurchase in the future this lovely gem!!!!!! OH MY!!

My 15 year old daughter loves Bath & Body Works. She walked past me the other day & I said to her "Honey did u put on my Bond No 9 I Love New York perfume?". She immediately responded, "No mom, it's BBW Dark Kiss"!! It's almost a dead dupe in my opinion except Bond is stronger, had a bigger sillage & last longer. I couldn't believe how close they smell. I still love my Bond but if u want to save money, just purchase Dark Kiss.

And I also wanted to add the longevity... Being cheaper than the other perfumes in their line up I questioned the longevity of the I love new York series. to my surprise bond did not skip on the quality at all. I sprayed it at 7 am before I went to work and got home at 630 pm and the delicious base notes can still be smelled on my arm...... Making this the longest lasting bond in my collection (I own 8 perfumes from bond).

To me the opening smelled like incense and candy. Then as time wore one it smelled mostly like hard candy. Unfortunately this turned into a skin scent on me. That's ok because I'm not at all crazy about it. I am going to wear it out and see what people think. My husband loved it though. Edit: I decided to give this another try in the warmer season. I wore this in the summer and it is amazing! My new summer fragrance.

This isn't your typical sweet fruity patchouli fragrance. And the patchouli isn't like what you find in the Mugler lines either. This fragrance is smooth and sweet and strong and beautiful. It's got depth to it, so to my nose it's not cloying. It doesn't resemble La Vie est Belle or Flowerbomb or any of the endless copycats. It's got its own thing going on and I've never smelled anything like it.

omg! it smells like sweet candy love. i have never been to new york i want to go so bad it is unique. no scent from a canadian city can ever smell like this... after applying i wanna lick my arm(not in a creepy way) totally a pretty scent. (if i were to run out of this when i needed a sugar fix i would go to my princess night) totally irreplacable in my collection.

Sweet? Yes. Gourmand? Not so much. This is nicely sweet with a lasting dry-down, on clothing it truly lasts for days. Pretty, kind of yummy, fun and the sweet floral patchouli dry down is addictive. I am NOT an Angel fan, so that being said, don't let comparisons put you off. I layer this one with Astor Place......an expensive habit but I'm hooked!

Similar to MTL Pure Love. They share a sickly sweet vanilla base with NY being syrupy and MTL buried under a sharp/tart opening. Pure love has a bit of a sharp edge in comparison making it a bit more sassy. NY lasts an eternity and is the refined older sister. @perfumistabunny

a gourmand masterpiece. ferocious sillage and longevity...as with most Bonds you cant scrub it off cuz the scent still lingers on your skin. You will smell like fresh baked blueberry muffins all day....eat your heart out New Haarlem cuz this one is much more fun to wear.

What a happy slice of fun! It's tantalizing like the inside of a sweets factory where cakes and candies are made, blueberries are baking somewhere in the factory and so many other delectable treats. I love it, it makes me smile.

Is so sad right now. I just went online at Bond No. 9 and Nordstrom and you cannot find this there anymore. They must be discontinuing this gorgeous beauty! Why I cannot understand :(

Lovely blueberry muffin with a dash of nutmeg on top. The drydown is a heavenly blueberry/vanilla/patchouli mix. I love it!!!!

I had a sample of this and I kept wearing it and loving it, knowing I’d never spend this much on a heavily gourmand scent I couldn’t wear to work. So, my husband bought me a nice huge bottle for Christmas and I shamelessly love it. It’s extremely sweet and definitely smells like blueberry muffins baking next to a patchouli bush. That is literally what this perfume smells like to me. I have been wearing TM Angel for years and I don’t find them similar. The blueberry in this and the chocolate in Angel make them smell completely different in my opinion. I’m not usually someone who assigns seasons to scents, but I cannot wear this in warm temperatures. It smells way too heavy and those blueberry muffins that smelled so delicious in the fall and winter, smell burnt in the spring and summer. The longevity and sillage on this are outstanding, as one would hope for the price. My 3rd grade daughter adores this scent, she tells me it’s her favorite...but it’s also one of my husband’s favorites and I’ve received many compliments on it. The notes don’t sound universally appealing, but it seems they just blend well and make for a universally appealing scent. I would not recommend this if you don’t like gourmands, patchouli, or sweet scents...but if you do, this is worth the money...even if it’s a gift.

A surprising amount of patch comes out on me when I spray this on my wrist. I certainly don't mind. The blueberry note is definitely the star player, but initially I don't sense much of the muffin, more like blueberry juice made from North American blueberries (Vaccinum cyanococcus), not Nordic bilberries (Vaccinum myrtillus). No, I am not splitting hairs here, this is serious business. ;) After some time the muffin comes out as well. I Ctrl-F'd "soap" but there were no search results on this page, am I the only one that thinks this is ever-so-slightly soapy as well? Or maybe that's just because I am used to everyone's mom buying liquid hand soap with various berry scents back in Finland (bilberry, wild strawberry, cloudberry, sea buckthorn)... Nordic people kinda have a thing for berries, because not a lot of fruit grows well that far north. In summary, highly pleasing and a strong like, but I am not drawn enough to the love button.

Normally I don't care for vanilla and patchouli together because it's been done so much. I also don't usually go for gourmands as sweet as this. Though on the higher end of the sweet side that I'm willing to go, it's tempered with other notes and the overall effect is like a refined dessert. I love the blueberry opening, it's something different. The patchouli and vanilla they're not rough the way many designer perfumes with these notes together are. I think what wins me over is the addition of leather and nutmeg. Without them it would lack its touch of sophistication. Despite the childish bottle it doesn't smell as such. It's fun & girly gourmand but doesn't only belong on a teenager's dressing table. I'm about a decade and a half past my teens and I love it a lot. It's not an everyday scent by any means, but it's totally scrumptious and enjoyable when I do.

This doesn't remind me of TM Angel at all. It is so much lighter, fruitier and yes very sweet. It does not have the heaviness that Angel has. The only thing that bothers me about this fragrance is the price/exclusivity given that if this was released by someone like Britney Spears, it would have a lot more unfavorable reviews stating, this is just another boring fruity floral. If you like sweet fruity florals, then yes I can see you loving this. But honestly there is nothing niche about this at all. There would have to be 1 million other scents that are similar and possibly even better for a fraction of the price.

Fruity with a touch of vanilla is my impression. Not extremely sweet but too fruity for my liking. Lasts all day, no touch up needed. As a patchouli lover, I should be able to wear this but my nose cannot tolerate the fruitiness. Maybe there is a citrus buried in the notes that my nose refuses to accept. This would be a nice fragrance for someone who wants something mildly sweet and lasts all day. Smells pretty nice but I have no desire to own a full bottle. I'm not sure this is a niche quality fragrance. I think Coach Poppy would be a good choice for a substitute.

Reading through the reviews, I can't think of another fragrance that has as many varied descriptions. On me, I smell mostly a vanilla frosting with a hint of blueberries, transitioning to a bit of blueberry patchouli in the drydown. I've discovered I like smelling like vanilla frosting, but this is a like, not a love. I just don't get anything complex enough to really draw my interest. It is pretty, though. The sillage is weak to moderate, and it had a moderate longevity.

I have been into the muskier "old lady scents" (wink) lately, and not a big fan of the gourmands but this smells really good. Of course, the magic for me is more in the vanilla amber dry down but the blueberry top and patchouli mid over that combo is magical. I really like Astor Place and want to get my hands on the Queen's Bond No 9 but I definitely will be keeping this for a cooler weather scent.

I smell the blueberry and frosting with an undertone of patchouli. Although I do not like patchouli, it smells very nice here and blends well with the rest of the notes. This is reminiscent of LaVanila Grapefruit but the citrus is not as sharp. I won't be able to afford the whole bottle; but for now I will enjoy the vial that I have. Questo profumo mi ha fatto ricevere vari complimenti alcuni anni fa quando lo usavo. Il bouquet è abbastanza vicino a Angel cioè patchouli caldo con note fruttate e vaniglia cremosa di sottofondo, un tocco speziato per non cadere nella noia e un tocco di spensieratezza. Va bene per tutti.

I agree with posters that this smells like Angel, but with more sugary notes. It's not cloyingly sweet, but I prefer the cleaner drydown of fragrances in the Angel line.

I find it similar to La Diva by Ungaro although much more sophisticated.

This smells to me like a handful of candies and raisins.

I made a special trip downtown to test. It was worth the trip to save myself from a $105 + tax mistake. This perfume does not smell "bad" or anything. It's just that on my skin, it smells like something by Britney Spears. I was seduced by its promise of icing, blueberries, and leather. It had so much potential to be a masterpiece! I sprayed it all over myself. It started out with much too much synthetic amber. Although the blueberry smelled synthetic too, I was willing to let it go because I love blueberry THAT much. However, I can't let go of the fact that the "blueberry" soon turned into a nondescript "berry" scent--just some kind of tangy berry. No leather ever came. After 10 minutes, I could no longer smell it on myself unless I put my nose directly to my skin. Terrible projection and average longevity. I envy the ladies who can bring out the notes on their skin that I wanted so badly.

Now, I love me some sweet scents and my wardrobe is shamelessly unapologetic. But this is sugar soup on me. Yes, I get the blueberry muffin accord, but smells like a plastic blueberry muffin. Think Yankee Candle. Then again, I don't know whether it's better to smell like an evocation of a blueberry muffin or an actual blueberry muffin. For my part, I'm going to bow out of both. Shameless sweetness can be had for far cheaper. And even better quality shameless sweetness can be had at a better price than this.

Really love the sweets and blueberries as a genuinely fun and different kind of opening ... Lol, for me it was an actual 'Wow!!' ... then the rose and patchoulli came forward and it became boring and generic. The scent in cheap drugstore toiletries. Ultimately a dirty undertone made it a scrub. It is a shame, because it started off strong It's a 'no, thanks!' not a hate, but this is the I Love New York I like the least so far.

Too sugary-sweet for my taste. I was hoping for a balanced pachouli scent - I got overpriced Pink Sugar instead (its only a sample, luckily). No leather, no nutmeg, no santal. I have the feeling that Bond also goes into the direction quantity instead of quality.

This reminds me of Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb, they are similar IMO. Powdery flowers with some vanillanin hanging out. What is not comparable between the two is their staying power. Bond's I <3 NY waaay out lasts Flowerbomb.

I am not into the spicy / sweet combination, this reminds me of cinnamon with sugar, maybe for Christmas i would consider it .. rest of the year it's a no no for me.

Yes, this is definitely a blueberry muffin accord. Not a 100% photorealistic one: it does feel a little bit synthetic but soft and blurred enough to be gentle on the nose. And it's nice and gentle and I like it but it's not going to go on my TOP 10 NEXT PERFUMES TO BUY list anytime soon. It just doesn't have that OMG WOW! factor that I was hoping for. And honestly the blueberry note is extremely similar to the blueberry note in Demeter's Blueberry and/or Laurence Dumont's Tarte Aux Myrtilles or even a softer, higher quality version of Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy (that note is listed as 'plum' but whatever...) So if a gourmand blueberry note is what you're after, you can do it for much cheaper. This is definitely a 'try before you buy' situation if you are looking for a very specific blueberry muffin feeling from your memories because it could be hit-or-miss. The projection/sillage are good and the scent remains linear throughout. Lasts around 5-6 hours if you do 6-8 generous sprays. This isn't very sexy but rather cozy and cuddly. I can totally see a kind-hearted kindergarten teacher wearing this to school and becoming everyone's favorite grown-up! Again, not for me, but definitely bound to be the beloved favorite perfume for someone. I just feel like the price is too high for the end resulting scent, and yet the quality is too high to relegate this to the Bath & Bodyworks price range where a blueberry muffin scent would normally belong. It's honestly somewhere in between and it's up to the individual buyer whether it is worth it or not.
