Lexington Avenue

Beautiful perfume!!! Why the bottle is so ugly and doesn't suit the scent is beyond my comprehension , it was better when it had all the little shoes. Now the black and white is not good as it doesn't suit the creamy spicy sweet scent ! Lexington Ave is basically a spicier version of Chinatown. In fact they are very similar to my nose. If you have and love Chinatown this would be a save blind buy in my opinion. The same sweetness and the same cardamom yet lexington ave is with a touch of "belle opium" by YSL the one in the purple bottle. The creme brûlée is phantastic in here and the anis is incredible eatable ;) this is definitely a gourmand all the way. I also love the almonds. A little more winter than summer! As china town is very feminine and men should stay away from it THiS one is definitely the same feel BUT nice on a man as well. It's very unisex. But a little more on the feminine side as well, in my opinion. And my husband thinks so too.

I love this scent but the bottle is sooo bad! Why did they not try to make it somewhat similar to the old bottle, as they did with Success? I don't understand this bottle. I don't like it at all. I know they were trying to get away from the girly shoes so that men would buy it, but this bottle is now the complete opposite and why would any woman want it? The scent to me is slightly more feminine than masculine anyways, although still very much unisex. Anyways, the scent is amazing. It's creamy and rich, a bit gourmand and yummy, and great sillage and projection. I love the crème brulee note and the slightly manly cypress/woody note. Delicious. I just ordered this, but thank goodness I scored the old bottle! Thank you to the SAs who scoured the country trying to find me one of the last "shoe bottles" in existence! This bottle is just so bad!

This is not a review, but as there seems to be confusion, I just wanted to clarify. This is the same perfume as the Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue with the shoes on it. Bond had a contract with the Andy Warhol Foundation but it expired, thus Bond had to remove Andy Warhol's name and art from all of their bottles, therefore forcing them to change the packaging. This is the same juice as the shoe bottle. All the other Andy Warhol Bond perfumes also had packaging changes with, as far as I know, no change in formulation (I can't be 100% sure of that- it looks like the notes on Success have changed in Fragrantica- but Bond says the scent is the same!). Andy Warhol (the bottle with his face on it) has been discontinued, but the rest carry on with new designs and no Andy Warhol in the name.

This is such a warm, snuggly, feel good scent! I was rearranging my perfume cabinet yesterday and found it in the back...I bought it in the winter and found it SO gourmand and SO sweet, but it was a Bond and those don't exist in my area, so I purchased it from the little perfume shoppe on the corner (off of their clearance shelf no less - not going to let that opportunity pass!) and brought it home to languish with the other rare scents that I *might* wear someday but MUST have in my collection. So in the winter it was a too sweet edible dessert, but now in the heat of summer, with temperatures in the 90s and humidity thick and oppressive, this is a lovely, spiced sugar wafer with a boozy tilt - the star anise? Soft projection and great longevity - 10 hours so far.

It's a YES for me! This is a creamy, softly spicy, mildly sweet, rounded out beauty!! This pops for me in the warmer months, not 100F hot, but warmer - I tried this in the cold and all I got was cinnamon, which isn't even a listed note. But in the warmth, WOW. The cardamom adds a nice earthy spice, the cypress adds a touch of green, the citrus gives a bright and light feel, the almond delivers a nutty tone, the sandalwood leaves me with cream, the orris brings powder, and the patchouli enforces earthy, richness. And yes, I still smell a nice, dry cinnamon; might be the other spices together evoking cinnamon for me. I simply love this, puts me in the same space as the Rebecca Minkoff EDP.

This is the perfect winter holiday scent! The cedar and patchouli interplays perfectly with the cardamom, star anise and citrus, lending the scent a walking through the woods while sipping hot mulled wine vibe. It is warm and inviting without being overbearing, plus, just a spritz lasts all day. An olfactory gift for those wearing it and for those who are experiencing it

I love this scent so much! When I was a kid this was my mom's signature scent, now that I'm a little older I also have a bottle that I reserve for special occasions. To me this smells like a classy and sophisticated city girl. The scent also lasts soooo long and stays on clothes for days, sometimes even weeks!

Lexington Avenue is a Creme Brulee fragrance... It's yummy. That being said, I wish it projects better, but it's not. The opening is very lovely, however, for an edp, this doesn't last very long, and it projects well only for about 2 hours and then it turns into a skin scent.

It's like a demeter fragrance it doesn't last at all but for one minute you get to smell carnival goodies. 200.00 dollars a bottle is too much for this fast fading fragrance but it does smell wonderful

#1026 in my "Tour de Fragrance" From the reviews I expected this to be more floral and feminine but it's neither. It's soft and intimate, still very unisex, but I would prefer to smell this on a woman than on myself. It's like n the outer edges of being gourmand. Not really sweet, though it does have a hint of desert. The notes say creme brulee, but you could mistake it for flan or banana cream pie. I can also pick up a hint of anise, which suits my taste, and some cypress and orris. It actually reminds me of a very inexpensive O Boticario EDT called "Quasar Fire." And that's about where I'd ranked the longevity and sillage, at an EDT level. This is car pool, elevator and close spaces safe. And think it's likeable, wearable, but not noticeable at more than arm's length. If it were priced under $100 I'd get a bottle today , but at $165 it's not an immediate priority for me.

Purchased this recently from the US online it smells just the way I remember it from a trip to Hawaii many years ago. Very creamy and sweet and the star for me is the peony note with the crème brûlée joining in. Slightly citrusy up top but it’s doesn’t overpower it. Settles down to a creamy sandalwood base. Can’t really detect the fennel, cardamom or cypress notes at all. Overall very happy with Lexington Avenue.

This is desert all the way. Sweet, creamy, eatable and smells like a pudding with fruits and spices. But after the first hour mark, a nice peony note makes its appearance together with creamy sandalwood. It ends on the opposite side as it begun, because it doesn't smell like a desert anymore; it's floral, spicy (anise), woody. 7/10

This is a beautiful sweet, spicy and aromatic fragrance. I have a thing for star anise why I find it very appealing. The silllage is moderate and the longevity too. But actually I'm more of a flower girl so I think that a full bottle would be much more than I ever could finish.

I'm sitting here wrapped up in sweaters and blankets, cozy as can be, sipping my cardamom chai and wearing Lexington Avenue. The opening notes of Lexington Avenue smell like cardamom chai. Very nice. Soft to moderate sillage. Dries down to a warm spicy sandalwood skin scent.

Got as a present, large bottle. I wish I would get perfumista avenue instead. If'te intwrwte msg me.

Spicy creamy unisex gourmand scent. Elegant and sexy and sexy in some point if you like warm sweet fragrance. For me this is not a groundbreaking fragrance. Also a bit overpriced you can get a few decent bottles for the retail price of Lexington Ave. by Bond.9

I’ve had this perfume for over 5 years and I’m trying to complete the 1.7 oz bottle. I don’t like the cypress, fennel and star anise. That’s all I smell. In an effort to make space, I’m going to give this away.

Nice bottle. Hated the fragrance - vague, watery, bland, anonymous. Soak yourself in it and you get.... a faint whisper from afar of... is that, snuffle, snuff, snooffle... cold cream soap? Eh?! Look at the list of notes that were allegedly in this fragrance, this should be spicy, creamy, woody, rich and complex but it is just a vague soapy nothing. This was my first Bond No 9 purchase. At £130 a bottle is it worth shelling out on another? I like the sound of Bond No 9 New Haarlem but I am going to have to forget all about Lexington before I take another punt. It's fortunate Kilian is usually very good or I might begin to think Americans can't make good fragrances.

I think this one is wierd. It has some kind of mentholated note in the beginning. Smells sort of like a fresh leather bag. It is a tad sweet, a tad spicy, and a tad aromatic. 4 sprays and it is still soft and subtle, which I don't mind.

To really break this scent down, this starts off with what you would think would be hard to pull off right; the creme brulee! It's actually not all that bad. Think of creme brulee with a couple drops of banana extract. The mid is where it does something a little crazy. It goes from creme brulee to freshly dipped scented incense sticks! (I guess that's where the holiday vibes come from) Out of many nomenclatures, you could compare it to banana nut scented incense sticks, or even butt naked for that matter. The drydown goes just a touch feminine with the peony. The transitioning alone gets a 9 out of 10. This is a very well done scent.

Wasn't really digging this. It reminded me of some sort of food or an ingredient used in burgers like a cooking oil. It's quality, and it stays on for a while. But, not my cup of tea. I know people that like it, and I respect that. It's warm & spicy, a bit gourmand but not all the way gourmand. Try it.

This smells so much like Murder Ballad Blues perfume oil by Arcana, which I love so much I want to marry it! MBB is a warm blackberry on the vine scent. Smells like bike rides on hot summer nights. Lexington is close but the price is too much when something even better is a tiny fraction of the cost.

spicy woods and shiny, shiny boots of leather...I get this incredible leather note which is not listed but is there... unisex really. The bottle is okay with me!

Yuck, really wasn't liking this. Was expecting creme brule gourmand yumminess based on reviews, but instead got a musky soapy cheap cologne smell.
