New York Forever Limited Edition

I don't feel like this fragrance gets enough attention. NY Forever is a beautiful warm scent, perfect for fall - its harmonious notes not spicey but well blended. The dry down is not brash but exudes wafts of musky vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. I don't understand how the hype train missed this one. It's a solid cool weather EDP.

I'm testing a sample given to me by a kind Bond SA who I know. I'm a fan of the house and I've owned many vintage and modern, but this one is a snooze fest. It starts off camphoris which I assume is the patchouli. The cinnamon is there but it's not a very good cinnamon imo like I've had in other niche perfumes. After that, it starts getting warmer, a little sweeter, and the honey shows up. The honey is good but not top notch, as with the cinnamon, I've smelled better niche honey notes. That's pretty much it. An unremarkable and forgettable experience. If you notice the notes on this one are the same as Dubai Diamond in Jet and Crystal. As I said I'm a fan of this house, I but this but this just feels lazy. It's not bad, I wouldn't throw the bottle away, but I have no interest in acquiring it. On the plus side, the bottle is beautiful. If you're looking for a holiday gift for a woman, and want a newer release, I suggest New York flowers which smells great. Longevity on my skin is over 6 hours. Scent 5/10 Performance 6.5/10

How is a new release fragrance with no comments has a 5.0 rating already? I still want to buy it.

Smelled this at the Bond counter and I MUST HAVE IT. Simply perfect for cool weather.
