New York Forever

This is such a beautiful fragrance and it definitely reminds me more of PDM Oajan than Angels Share (which I find too thick and syrupy). New York Forever is a lighter take on that scent profile and honestly I find this easier to wear in my opinion as it does not get cloying or heavy even after 10+ sprays, and somehow despite the notes it has an airiness about it. Everything is blended very smoothly in here and the scent trail this leaves behind is just gorgeous. It’s like you’re wearing the intoxicating aroma of a NYC bakery in the best way possible. Performance is pretty solid lasting about 7-8 hours and it sticks to clothes even longer. So cozy and warm, this is absolutely perfect for the fall and winter nights and it would make a great companion scent to Bond No. 9 New Haarlem. Totally blind buy safe if you enjoy the fragrances it gets compared to and personally I enjoy this one more. Lovely bottle although the atomizer collar was stuck inside the cap when I got it, but it slid back on securely and all seems good now. Anyway this has seemed to fly mostly under the radar practically everywhere since its release and it deserves more hype in my opinion.

This fragrance from Bond No.9 is absolutely amazing!! . It opens up with a very boozy touch to it and then after 5 mins and so on it's amazing. This is one of the best things I've ever smelled in my life the honey and vanilla combo goes so well with that amber and earthy touch. It's similar to angel share so I wouldn't recommend buying both. This fragrance is perfect for winter, fall, and cold spring days wear this when you go on a date or have a formal occasion and you will be turning heads. It reminds me of going into a speakeasy in the winter time ordering a whiskey glass and drinking it slow while you listen to jazz It's an amazing fragrance and my all time favorite for winter. This is a 9.5 out of 10 ITS THAT GOOD!!. I'm not overrating this it is simply a masterpiece for those who love boozy scents.

So this was my first niche Fragance I bought...because as soon as I smelled it on my skin...I FELL IN LOVE. Didn’t asked for the price at Macy’s and bought it right away! Longevity: 6 to 8 hours (maybe more if I didn’t live in a hot climate) Sillage: 7/10 (people at 5-6 feet away could smell me with just 2 sprays: go easy on the sprays at first when you buy it) Performance: 9/10 (at first the cinnamon is super strong, but in a good and sexy way! It then changes to a vanilla and honey with earthy notes that really smell so pleasant and women around me loves it) Overall: 9.5/10 (it would be a 10 if the sillage lasted more than 8 hours...considering it’s niche price)

Lovely fall and winter scent. I adore the dry down on this one, very much like Angel share. I have a 9ml decanter that I am enjoying even though it’s March ( I live in the PNW ) will definitely buy a full bottle before the fall. I also feel this lasts a good 5 hours and I usually burn through the scents pretty fast. This could be unisex but probably a bit feminine. I over spray a bit and usually get compliments so it can be worn if you want to make a statement. Best to sample first, since the spice can turn funny on some skin chemistry. The dry down for me smells like a chia tea with cream.

Beautiful, intoxicating fall/winter fragrance that evokes the feeling of snuggling with a loved one in front of a flickering fireplace. The evening demands a warm, oversized sweater as you get buzzed with a cup of cinnamon hot chocolate spiked with whiskey or a hot toddy. This fragrance smells like a masterful blend of MFK Grand Soir, Gentle Fluidity Gold and Kilian Angels’ Share. I ineptly tried mixing them on my skin to get Forever’s perfect sillage. Waiting patiently to buy at a discount before the Midwestern fall arrives. Edit: bought it and love it!

Love this fragrance. Shares some similarities to PDM oajan, but it goes its own direction. Sweet with cinnamon and honey with the amber and patchouli. Smells very luxurious. I actually prefer this over fragrances like oajan and angels share. Lasts a long time, and the projection is pretty good as well. Perfectly unisex. If you can find this for a solid deal, definitely worth picking up, especially since it's just starting to pop up on discounters. 9/10 Overall

New York Forever is a fragrance that truly hits different. A warm spicy cinnamon like Angels' Share that is suitable for the colder months. For me, this scent reminds me of childhood experiences in NYC, especially Sundays in the Upper West Side. The projection and longevity varies, it could last for only a couple of hours with poor sillage or an entire day with good sillage. A timeless, unisex, 10/10.

I mean if you've smelled 'Oajan', this 90% identical due to the very similar ratio and combination of notes used to create the smell. Oajan is just a bit spicier and this one the spice isnt screaming as its brought down by the woodiness in this but overall its a great smell but just buy Oajan because its like way cheaper than this!

Very warm, cozy and beautiful cinnamon smell. Its long lasting, and smells very thick and rich. The dry down is very similar to Angels Share. So you dont really need to own both.

It reminds me of Oajan — in Angel’s Share, it winks at that main striking accord (excluding the boozy note, I mean the beautiful scent right after it), but here it’s wrapped in a dirtier patchouli and smokiness.But in the drydown, everything settles beautifully, leaving a creamy, vanilla ice cream–like trail — and that’s the best part.Actually, if you’re inspired by something or copying a DNA, you need to surpass it — otherwise, don’t do it, right?

Nice - it totally reminds me of PDM Oajan but not as beastly. This is an easy to love fragrance but there are so many that are similar in all price ranges that it may not be worth the price point.

Starts out very ambery with a hint of cinnamon and then the patchouli evolves and that’s where the scent ends for me as I am not a patchouli fan. Nice fragrance though. Longevity Good Sillage Good

It’s one of the better Bonds that I’ve smelled. The cinnamon does stick out and the longevity and sillage are amazing. However for the price, it is not unique enough.

I'm testing a sample given to me by a kind Bond SA who I know. I'm a fan of the house and I've owned many vintage and modern, but this one is a snooze fest. It starts off camphoris which I assume is the patchouli. The cinnamon is there but it's not a very good cinnamon imo like I've had in other niche perfumes. After that, it starts getting warmer, a little sweeter, and the honey shows up. The honey is good but not top notch, as with the cinnamon, I've smelled better niche honey notes. That's pretty much it. An unremarkable and forgettable experience. If you notice the notes on this one are the same as Dubai Diamond in Jet and Crystal. As I said I'm a fan of this house but this but this just feels lazy. It's not bad, I wouldn't throw the bottle away, but I have no interest in acquiring it. On the plus side, the bottle is beautiful. If you're looking for a holiday gift for a woman, and want a newer release, I suggest New York flowers which smells great. Longevity on my skin is around 6 hours. Scent 5/10 Performance 6.5/10

I really want to like this. But it feels like it came from a designer line like Burberry or even Prada. It’s a powdery woodsy soft gourmand. The combination of powdery notes, and Honey, are about the only unique thing in this fragrance. It’s a daytime John Paul Gaultier, Elixir.

Sweet, and heavy on cinnamon with patchouli in the background. There is some honey, vanilla and amber aswell. Overall nice if you like this type of fragrances but I don't think it's worth the money. There are plenty of alternatives.

Impotent Oajan. There might be some patchouli and a hint of anise in the distance, but performance is so feeble that it doesn't matter. Body oil street vendors render this cinnamon and amber DNA better for $8. Completely useless.

I just tried this one at Bloomingdales and it’s not for me. It gives me tobocolar Dior vibe , maybe angel share. Not exactly the same but kind of same family.

In my opinion, this is one of the better combinations of cinnamon and patchouli. The fragrance opens with a lightly spicy cinnamon note, and after a moment a gently resinous patchouli joins in with a touch of vanilla. The base is sweet, woody and slightly earthy. Moss, labdanum and musk create a perfect backdrop for the honey and amber. The scent is warm and enveloping, yet it never feels sticky. Longevity is between 7 and 10 hours, and the fragrance fills the room.

A vibrant cinnamon, patchouli forward scent. Its warm, reminds me of the holidays, with a spicy brightness to it. I like it and I think it fits in nicely with a fall/winter scent rotation. Criticism: I become tired with its cinnamon after a few hours, its a bit relentless.

Definitely a lighter Oajan by PDM. I love this stuff, it smells like a whole bakery off my skin and it's one of the better Bond's ive tried.

This smells like a spicier Angels Share. Very much a gourmand. Delicious winter scent.
