Nolita

I love NY for Mother’s Day is one of my favorite fragrances and it’s so sad it got discontinued so when I read how similar this (nolita) is to NY Mother’s Day, I HAD to order a sample and today my sample arrived... LOOOVE it, it’s basically the same smell with NY MD being a bit more citrus-y (or loud) at first spritz but a few seconds later they both smell quite identical! (Actually comparing them side to side Nolita has a bit of a sweeter drydown where NY MD smells a bit fruitier) Either way glad to find a substitute for my beloved Bond no. 9 I love NY for Mother’s Day!!! I’d rate it a 10/10 I also received a couple other samples from Bond: -Spring Fling: lovely, 9/10 -Gold Coast: hmm, ok, similar to Chloe but I miss the rose-y drydown, 6/10 -Sag Harbor: wow, this surprised me... I started rating it a 5-6/10 but after it dried down I'm giving it a 8/10 -Greenwich Village: bleh, smells just the Burberry one which I recently got a free sample of and gave it away immediately... it smells like lip gloss/lipstick to me! -Coney Island: wtf is this? There’s so much in this fragrance that my nose and stomach disliked I don’t even know where to start... maybe I’ll just say: this doesn’t belong in a perfume bottle, specially not in such a beautiful one like the Coney Island one!

I always gravitate toward fruity floral fragrances, but it is always absolutely difficult to find the ideal ones since a majority of those fragrances are likely to be synthetic and boring. However, many of the fruity/floral scents from Bond No.9 have different perspectives, especially Nolita. It is a beautiful dreaming juicy tangerine scent with graceful freesia (I think freesia accord from Bond No.9 is the best) and lily without any sharpness. Some people say it is too overpriced for this scent, but I believe this is stunning in my opinion. Also, longevity is incredible. Edit This scent is beautiful as I described above but, longevity and silage are awful!!!! I have tried it at Fenwick very recently and found it extremely weak!! I do not know why nobody talks about that; many people say it has prominent silage! It stays on my skin, but definitely not matching the price tag...

Nolita isn’t mind blowing and it’s extremely overpriced. However, it does smell really nice and you can’t go wrong having it in your collection if you love feminine scents. Like everyone has said, its the niche version of Victoria Secret Bombshell. If you’re the person that calls VSB juvenile (I know a lot of women wore it as teenagers in middle/high school) but you still love the scent, you would wear Nolita as an adult. The musk, amber and sandalwood balance out the citrusy white florals very nicely. This is definitely an easy reach for spring and summer for all occasions...work, daytime dates, brunch, errands, anything. It lasts around 5-6 hours before it starts to settle into a skin scent with moderate sillage.

90's kids- does this take anyone else back in time?? to me it smells like 90s shampoo but literally in the best way possible.... reminds me of carefree summers- swimming all day, lipsmackers lipgloss, riding bikes til the street lights come on, playing Nintendo 64 with my brother, sleeping in til the afternoon, no homework so we go play outside with friends, parents dont know what to make for dinner so we're ordering Pizza Hut Stuffed Crust i will love this scent until the day i die, RIP to 90s childhood days, we literally had the most fun growing up- the simple days, house phones, dial up internet, ice cream trucks, fun summer days without being glued to our cell phones

I hadn’t been reaching for this fragrance in the past couple of years that I’ve had it. The weather is warming up, so I spritzed a few nice sprays everywhere that I apply to get a nice scent bubble. A few hours later I kept getting lovely wafts of candied tangerine with slight freesia, a touch of the jasmine and the musk, sandalwood and amber. Yes, this smells clean and bright. Yes, it’s kind of smells like a slightly fruity and fresh shampoo in the best way possible. I would not pay Bond prices for a bottle. There are too many places that you can score a BNIB authentic bottle of this fragrance. G

Based on the notes, I wasn't expecting to love this scent as much as I do. I'd never call Nolita generic or describe her as a "pretty girl" perfume. Frankly, what does that even mean? Are plain people not allowed to wear fragrances? There's definitely a strong floral note here, but the tangerine burst in the opening is a knockout. Freesia is prominent, but I pick up the voluminous, fresh, green scent of Jasmine Sambac all the way through. The drydown is incredible ... musky and spicy with a hint of sweetness. Sexy, complex, definitely full bottle worthy (and what a charming bottle it is).

I bought Nolita a couple of years ago after trying several Bond No 9 fragrances. I thought I’d prefer Gold Coast over this one, but I prefer this one. This is a nice floral, slightly fruity musk. She projects on my skin and she doesn’t need to be over sprayed as she lasts on my skin and clothes for 5+ hours. As far as projection, the first few hours she projects at arms length. Thereafter she wears close to your skin. I appreciate her for what she is a beautiful, clean, floral/fruity musk. She doesn’t need a o be loud or to project far. She’s a lovely Spring and Summer stunner.

Omg!!! I love her! I’ve wanted her for so long Nolita! She’s beautiful, fresh, fruity, floral, flirty. She’s not my typical vanilla fragrance but I’m here for it! I can’t stop wearing this since I got it. I love it! Soft, clean, feminine, sexy, sophisticated. I’ve honestly never smelled bombshell from VS but like if it smells like this will I like it? Idk I’m used to niche fragrances now. Anyways will someone let me know. Also please try this fragrance. It’s stunning!

Love love love! Bond no. 9 has some haters, I'm definitely not one of them considering I own 19 from this house. Nolita is a stand out pretty girl scent hands down. It's so fresh, juicy, sweet, and the amber gives it depth. It's extremely enjoyable and it lasts pretty long too. I can layer this with anything fruity to morph its character. Layered with BR540 it glows. Sprayed on top of Delina Exclusif it's divine. Will always keep this in my collection.

Pucker up because the opening notes of this fragrance smell like a kiss like it's just kissing you all over (it's the Freesia) and I absolutely love it very fresh and alluring I found myself continuing to go back to my wrist to smell it it's a very unique fragrance for me I haven't smelled anything quite like it and I love that it's definitely my signature fragrance right now for the last few days and I'm so enjoying it...

Lovey smell that fits perfectly with the bottle colors! The scent is sweet, fresh, still delicious and super candy-yummy-like. At first spray I was trying to find the main ingredient, and to my wonder was Tangerine Orange Slices!!! And I love it! Follow with some fresh flowers and musk. Bond n9 Nolita is not a in your face fragrance, the scent stays with you several hours but noticeable enough for your taste!

Love from first sniff! Such a lovely feminine scent...so delicate...I get sweet citrus, freesia, lily, rose jasmine on bed of warm amber sandalwood that is balanced by cleanliness of musk...so well balanced...like most Bond 9 perfumes. Notes are pretty familiar but it smells very unique and universal in terms of wear. Can be worn any time of the year and for any occasion

Just copped my second bottle. This has been my go to perfume for this spring/summer. It's a pretty white floral scent that reminds me of a classy Gen Z boss if that makes sense lol. I agree with everyone about the price point and there probably are better options but for me its a must have in my collection until I find a better/cheaper alternative.

This is the fragrance that kicked off my jones for rose/animalic combos. I love the sweet, juicy tangerine. I love the heavy muskiness. I love the florals. It's sexy af. This is not a scent for the faint of heart. It radiates confidence & sass. A keeper. ❤️ This is an excellent substitute for Bond No 9 I Love NY Mothers Day.

I love, love, love this smell and have for years 😍 HOWEVER, my baby Nolita does not last long at all which is unacceptable for the price. I actually don't know anyone who says they get more then 2-3 hours. I have the original but would be more then willing to find a dupe/ clone. Nowadays these dupes are killing it!. I

This fragrance is so beautiful! Juicy white florals, smells sweet, fresh, sophisticated, classy and rich! The longevity and silage on this is crazy lasts forever on me! Lots of compliments. I love this scent I think the fragrance is well blended and grown but sexy.

I’m surprised nobody has said this has a lipstick smell. It’s a nice fragrance but I smell something that gives red lipstick that or moms would wear lol I wonder if that’s the point! I mean look at the bottle. Am I the only one?

I love Bond I Love New York For Mothers and this is the closest I’ve come to replacing it. Fruity, musky, easy to wear.

Such an adorable girly teddy bear cuddly like scent. Innocent, joyful, free spirit, mildl sweet. Love it.

Nolita smells sexy and sophisticated.

I sat down to write this review based on my last spray of Nolita 1 month ago after owning it for 2 months and spraying about 3 times. I was so confused by the reviews stating this was feminine and pretty. It smelled like a male cologne. Not bad, but I don't like masculine-leaning fragrances so I really disliked this. Each time I sprayed I couldn't help but wonder wtf everyone was talking about. It was a blind buy and I didn't have anyone to blame but myself because I know the risk of blind-buys, it's just that I intensely studied this one and saw rave reviews with nothing saying anything about it being unisex, I mean look at the bottle! As I got up to refresh my memory and spray it once again, something unexpected happened: finally, here is the sexy, feminine, flirty, and delicate fragrance everyone was talking about. OMG. I suppose it just needed to macerate, which I would say took a month or 2. It's floral, I can see where the VS bombshell comparisons come from, but it's much more complex than that. I'm glad I didn't write it off as a blind buy that didn't work for me. That's why fragrance reviews should be done in layers and different situations: initial review, wear after some time, wear in different seasons/weather and wear in specific situations. I can't wait to wear this on a night out and see how long it last.

I have a full bottle of this. To give an idea of what I like from Bond I have full bottles of Nolita, highline, little italy, scent of peace, fire island, New York Amber, saks for her. I like this. The Bond promos promote this as "flirty." To me that's code for "trashy" but only in the best way - like la belle poubelle- The good trash! Like the way la vie est belle is trashy but well liked. Doesn't smell like la vie est belle it is just appealing in the same way somehow. The sillage on this is very strong. The lasting power for me is 10 hrs. Very very good. I think this is a good night out fragrance but I'm someone who will wear fracas in the day at work and just not care - so I wear this to work too!

Ok I have to agree on the more expensive version of Bombshell, I love Bombshell its just unfortunate it has NO staying power, this one though from Bond infact does. I have half a mind to layer the two at the moment. Sprayed it this morning and I can still smell it, faint, but way more lasting power than something from VS. At first I was like "no way this smells like Bombsh...ok it does"....I had to give it a bit of time for the drydown and now I can see why people say it smells quite a bit like it. Id move the musk and amber in the notes to mid. Definite heavy musk on paper and also on me.

Wow! The ambery note literally blooms in hot weather and turns Nolita from the floral-next-door to a voluptuous cloud of delight. Warm, confident and above all womanly – I find it suitable for an accomplished career woman who sitting behind her desk spreads this gorgeous aura in her office. Besides amber, the most prominent notes are tangerine, fresia and lily. I daresay there is a dash of cumin too. Too bad I can’t afford a whole bottle. P.S. It took me one day to pinpoint what it reminded me of: Raman Red by Al Qurashi - same exquisite spicy amber.

I somehow agree with pretty much everything everyone else has said. Yes to 90s shampoo, yes to Victoriaʻs Secret Bombshell, yes to mainstream/generic, but elevated! Yes to green apples. Yes this smells good. Yes this is overpriced. I do really enjoy how this smells, but I wouldn’t pay Bond No. 9 prices for it. The dry down is grassy on me, and smells almost identical to High Line’s dry down when I did a direct comparison, and I already own an FB of High Line. I could see myself getting a decant for when I’m in the mood for some nostalgia, though.

I have a full bottle of this. I like it more and more every time I wear it. My daughter asked if I was wearing bombshell from VS and I didn’t initially compare the two, but I can certainly pick up on similarities between them now. Nolita is more sophisticated and has better sillage and longevity whereas BS if more playful with weak longevity. I don’t really see this as an office scent, maybe a date night scent, but I tend to wear whatever I like whenever I want.

Smooth, sweet, citrusy and light florals with an airy fresh quality with a nice musky finish coming off super clean. You can definitely feel the tangerine with its sweet citrus and the powdery fresh flowers. I’m also noticing a lightly soft spicy vibe which is nice. The musky, sandalwood and amber base I’ve seen bond use a lot always gives it a great base to ride on.

Not sure how or why I was convinced this fragrance was a particularly sweet one...it’s essentially just your average semi sweet floral that doesn’t stand out from the rest of the market in any way. I honestly do not understand how this fragrance has received so much hype but perhaps it would be good for layering with other florals. Pretty unremarkable.

Pampering type of scent and unapologetically feminine. Johnsons&Johnson Baby shampoo on steroids. I loved it. It is a sophisticated blend and quite rich in facets. Intense sensation. Very feminine, building a new scented signature out of many flowers.

This smells like a celebrity fragrance... But is is a sexy one for women that men would like. Smells a LOT like bombshell by vic secret which I own. I wonder if this is the bond perfume they are referring to in the song Poblado,

I wish someone could explain to me, like I am five years old, what it is that makes American fragrances so identifiable. With the exception of Tom Ford, I can smell an American fragrance a mile away. Unfortunately, this is not necessarily a compliment. There is always a bit of an aldehyde sourness and an absence of anything “naughty“ even in the fragrances with Jasmine. Maybe it’s because I’m such a fan of the mysterious, falsely innocent, saucy and sweet (think Vivienne Westwood’s Boudoir, Putain des Palaces by Etat Libre d'Orange and L'Heure Bleue by Guerlain); so I guess my favourite type isn’t made in the USA. Perhaps that’s it? The notes in Nolita are amongst my favourite in the world. I obviously like powdery, but some of my second favourite scents (Jicky and almost everything Guerlain) are not powdery. There is something nervous and perfectly American in this scent, it’s missing an earthy sexiness that I love. But what-is-it and why is it?

I like Bond 9 perfumes. Not all but many. But I only own a full bottle of Spring Flowers because as nice as the scents are, they really don’t last. Bond 9 perfumes are edt quality at edp prices and that’s just greedy and wrong. So while I like quite a few of them, I will only buy the ones I like in small 10ml decants. If Bond 9 would edp their perfumes, they would have many more customers. Id even be willing to pay a bit more. Coz as it is they’re putting all the money into that fancy bottle instead of the quality of the juices. And let’s be honest here only an idiot with too much money and no sense would buy a perfume only for the pretty bottle, because we all know it’s the juice inside that’s most important. But hey, who am I to judge? It’s your money.

This is a pleasant bright citrus fresh scent. I don't think there's anything truly unique here. I believe some others have compared this to a Victoria's Secret fragrance. If that comparison is true, and they are similar, then I definitely don't think there would be any reason to spend a lot of money for this particular scent unless someone are concerned more about brand than price.

A nice white floral with citrus for the Spring. I am not a white floral fan and so this fragrance does nothing for me. It has nice longevity and medium sillage. Would recommend for those who like quality white florals.

Initially great! I almost purchased, but after a minute the drydown became so, so boring... Would be a decent contender for the like category if not for that.

Smells like a generic perfumey perfume from 2000's. Another overpriced dud from this house.

*I rarely write negative reviews, but considering the price alone, this is truly a disappointment. This is the first fragrance that I've purchased from this house. I was expecting something extraordinary, something that would captivate my senses and leave a lasting impression. That's where I messed up. Soon as I sprayed it on my skin, I was greeted with a disappointing “scent” that did not live up to my expectations nor the hype that it received. Nolita lacked depth and complexity, and instead, I was left with a generic, forgettable aroma. Most importantly, it has ZERO performance. Honestly, many Bath and Body Works fragrances outperform this significantly. Does this smell nice? Yes. But I sprayed (not exaggerating) 10 times when I first received it. I rarely smelled anything, so I sprayed another 10-15x. I walked into the living room where my family was hanging out. Not one of them said anything about my scent. So I asked, “Do I smell nice?” My husband said, “I can't smell you, what are you wearing?” My daughter came up to me and sniffed my skin. She said “Ooh, that's a nice soft floral smell. Maybe you could wear it after your showers.” 😆 😩 I'm going to let it macerate/oxidize for a few weeks. I'll update my review then. 2/10 ⭐

It started off pleasant, but it did not wow. The dry down, however, was quite a shock - it smelled like a pungent gas station urinal. I scrubbed it twice now and it's still there... Never have I ever smelled a fragrance so awful. I should add that I am adverse to ambroxan and some other synthetic "animalic" ingredients that to others smell "like skin". To me they all smell unclean, like sweat and something else repulsive. I tested this because Ambroxan wasn't listed, but it smelled the same nonetheless. Must be the quality/quantity of musk used?

Instant headache in a bottle!!! (Fortunately also scrubs pretty cleanly). It is pretty and girly though, and the fruit and flowers just shine through.. but to me, even if I could stomache it, its just a bit 'meh'. Basically, it is nice but not unique or special, and I'd pick dozens over this one. That said, many really do like it so is worth a try for any feminine florals kind of fan gal...but it is NOT a safe blind buy.

Zzz... Waaaaay to similar to the Mother's Day scent. Attention buyers: The testers have embossed/printed lips on them (to trick the customer into thinking their bottle will be nice at the counter) but when you get your $350.00+ bottle and Revlon lipstick your bottle is slapped with a sticker imitating the lip design... A STICKER... Don't believe me? Compare the tester to the real product yourselves.

The first time I smelled this, I thought this was absolutely heavenly. I’m a huge white floral fan so it’s no surprise. And yet the second time I smelled it at home, I picked up on some ambroxan or something extremely synthetic, which makes the scent almost pungent. Lasting power is extremely poor; 2-3 hours on me despite multiple sprays at the same pulse point. Hard pass.

Green apple to a sweeter side. Very strange for the brand, very mainstream. It is quite difficult to make green apple an expensive fragrance.

This smells beautiful only 20 minutes after spraying. After 20 minutes it is very unpleasant, biting stinky stuff.

This is terrible. Smells like a cheap, unoriginal celebrity fragrance. It should cost 10x less. Super boring and generic. Not even gonna waste my skin on the sample...

Testing this side by side with bombshell victorias secret .. Both fall in the shampoo-ey fruity floral young juices .. but its like kerastase vs sunsilk lol Bombshell is the ratchet version of nolita , the opening has sharper synthetic cistruses versus the realiatic mandarin in nolita .. its much more screechy in general while nolita is more rounded and better blended .. Victorias secret isnt cheap and close to designer perfume price tags (atleast in my country) , they should seriously elevate the quality of the oils used in their perfumes ... anyway , i got a good deal on nolita so im definitely picking it and might pick up bombshell lotion to compliment it Nolita falls in same category as * versace dylan purple * lanvin modern princess * dolce and gabbana peony
