Park Avenue South

My new favorite Bond Scent! I wore this for 2 weeks before I decided to do a review on it. Its young & vibrant, fresh & juicy, easy to wear & lasts all day on me. It opens up with crisp green/fresh apple which stays even thru the dry down. It's not "sharp" at all. Just a fresh crisp green apple. Then is morphs into a juicy peachy (just turning ripe) scent during the middle notes (with the crisp apple still lingering in the background. It rounds out a light musky ambery scent again with the apple lingering in the background remaining fresh the entire way. The scent lasted over 10 hours on me. I was able to work all day & come home & still get major compliments when I couldn't smell it any longer. It remained on my clothing the next day as well. It's extremely girly & not a very complex scent. It's just simply, fresh, clean & SMELLS GOOD! I'm truly in love!! Headed over to my top 5 to knock something off the shelf & replace with this one. Edit: Came back to say that I know a lot of people are comparing this to "shampoo" & probably with good reason; however, sometimes a girl like me just wants a perfume that smells GOOD & not be bothered with a bunch of complex notes that send the allergies into mayhem & is EASY to wear. I'm definitely one of those girls. It's been awesome wearing this on hot days. It's definitely not for everyone but It's just right for me. I will personally be purchasing this over & over again.

I purchased this perfume from Saks around 5/22, I found a sample in a magazine while in the doctor’s office. I must say I LOVE it, however, the scent does not last long on me, I have the body cream and perfume and I would love to keep it but I am considering returning it because once I put it on in the morning and yes (I layer it) with the body cream within an hour the scent is gone! What initially impressed me was I have allergies and this is so light, airy and it just smells like Spring time to me and on top of that it didn’t bother my sinuses. Generally if I smell perfume all day long it’s bothersome to me and I have purchase very expensive perfumes in the pass only to give them away to friends and family. I really hope I am able to hold on to this one a little longer maybe it’s just my chemistry but I spent close to $400 and all I have so far is a pretty bottle and jar!

Soft without powder Fruity without being sweet or tart Bright without aldehydes or citrus It’s beautifully blending right out of the gate, I don’t get sour apple or a screechy start. If one already has Petite Cherie by Annick Gutal, you don’t need this. Creed’s Aqua Floria is this with some fresh green florals making it seem for hot days only, imo. This is warm enough even in the cool Spring and chilly Fall. It seems more princess-like or innocent. It’s the opposite of “boss babe.” For reference, I absolutely loved Malibu Musk as a teen, but I don’t remember what it smells like and haven’t been able to find it anywhere for decades. Try this if you love pear based perfumes or want something really traditionally feminine, but don’t want something too sweet or floral.

Apple musk, nothing else, but does it last? No, not really. It becomes a skin scent very shortly after application, and one hour later there’s hardly anything to smell at all. You’d expect more silage and longevity for the money, and perhaps a bit more complexity in the scent itself as well, especially as it’s so short lasting. It’s not a bad scent, it’s just simple and brief, and that’s not what you are paying for when you spend over £100 on a fragrance.

The Scent might be sharp/chemical at the beginning, but then it turns to be a beautiful, airy, fresh and playful one that creates a nice aura around who wears it. The apple and the peach are immediately recognizable and they are juicy and yummy, a bit sour, just how I like it. For me it was love at first sniff from a sample that I've got to my order and I was delighted. The bottle is a nice one, too.

a fresh green apple and peach scent, which in my opinion, initially smells like thinner liquid. But then the peach appear. This is a good scent with moderate silage, a compliment getter too, but the longevity is poor...

Okay, I smell peach more than anything else, not apple, and I loved the scent! I wonder why people are so down on this one. I will get another sample to really decide on this one.

me & my family member both sniffed & like it. a light powdery green apple scent thats nice & a safe blind buy if u like simple scents, not complicated. if you like louis vuitton womens fragrances like attrape reves & similar ones, then youll like this, its typical just like LV womens scents (simple & girly). no “paint thinner or rubber” smell in sight like another reviewer mentioned, this fragrance WISHES it was that complex lol

Smells just like Malibu Musk that I wore in the 1990's! (Which is not entirely a bad thing). Malibu Musk was in a teal green aerosol can and was probably around $6.99 a can? I sprayed some Park Avenue South on this morning before work; however, now I just want to lay in my bedroom floor and read a Seventeen magazine while listening to Ace of Base. Has anyone seen my hair crimper??? Gotta go, Saved by the Bell is coming on.

This is a pretty, airy, delicate, fruity apple shampoo-type scent. I really like the fragrance itself but the longevity and sillage are both very weak for me. I blind bought it, and I’d likely not have done so if I had sampled/tested it beforehand. The performance is not worth the cost.

Someone below said this smells like paint thinner, and I get that. On me, I get green apple with a hint of rubber cement. I keep trying this, and I'm *SO* close to liking it, but that weird chemically smell is just off-putting. I'm not sure if it's the musk or the amber, but something doesn't blend well with the fruit and floral notes.

Just... meh. It’s not bad, but it’s not giving luxury, uniqueness, or even a reason to reach for it. I expected more.

Bond no 9, is this a joke? This smells identical to those body sprays people girls used to wear in the early 2000s after sports class. It’s ridiculously synthetic and cheap. I have been patient with this brand but they really take the biscuit. It has the most god awful synthetic, screechy apple with an overripe peach and the same musk from New York musk. This fragrance can be endearing on a teenager but I don’t see how it can enhance anyone’s image in any setting. What a weird clash. This would have been better played up as a true gourmand with a heavy bubblegum vanilla to balance the sharp fruits. The animalic musk just isn’t working.

On my skin, it ended up just smelling like a fruity shampoo. A NICE shampoo, but still. I never got ANY of the amber and musk in the base. Just the fruits and a hint of the jasmine.

Smells like a boring, cheap body mist from the dollar store.

This is for the person below that asked, NO, this does not smell like DKNY, I HATE tht stuff, never bought it, (& I buy many perfumes). That is horrible to me, & this is one the BEST fragrances on this planet! To the other reviewer, I never thought about Malibu Musk!! That was a FAVORITE of mine in my teens! I still buy the body spray to carry around sometimes. I would def say I see the likeness, but this is just a mindblowing PEACH fragrance. I will always buy this one! I do not smell apple, I only get the peach, I guess it covers up the apple for me. When I spray this in my hair, or the Hair/neck/shirt area I usually go for, I smell this ALL day long. I cannot say that with 75% of the perfumes I own. Which is well over 300. Not bragging, I am stressing the point that much. Lovely! 10/10

I just got a sample. I bought 8t caise the reviews said it was like malibu musk..(which in 90' was the strongest fruitiest powdery smell I've ever worn)... this one is fruity but nothing like that strong.. definately smell green apple but like I washed it in a chlorine pool then took a bite of the green apple. Its not as strong as the purfumista that I had before. ..its almost exactly like if I got out of the pool & washed my hair with salon selective shampoo. & I can still smell a hint of the pool. Its a good smell. But not as long lasting or unique. I could get the same smell by using the original salon selective shampoo. For sure. Which I do like that s.ell as well. Its a early 90s smell for .e

Alas, I was extremely unimpressed with this. The green apple note is prominent, backed by not much else, and it had the feel of a teenager's body spray. The makers of this must have gotten their impressions of Park Avenue by standing outside the sort of Manhattan private school where the students think nothing of paying $300 for the apple equivalent of Sun-Ripened Raspberry.

I have to agree with the others that say this smells similar to Malibu Musk & that it’s lacking in the longevity department. However, it does smell pretty good to me with a nice crisp green apple opening.

Smells like rotten fruit, NOT a safe blind buy. This is so off putting. I really wanted to love this because the bottle is so adorable, sadly it’s not even tolerable!!!

I smelled this that at Saks in Tysons,VA. It's a nice bite of sweet peach! We will see how long it lasts, but so far I love it!

Takes me right back to the 80's with Parfums de Coer's Malibu Musk. Just like supbury said before me!

Question-- since the main note is Apple, does it smell similar to the DKNY be delicious?
