Queens

Bond no. 9 Queens was my first Tuberose love, in fact it was my first exposure on tuberose. I've heard about the flower, and I knew there were perfumes on tuberose, but it wasn't really occurred to me until Queens, I love the scent so much that I searched and compared up and down to know the actual scent of tuberose. This tuberose is creamy, probably due to the mixture with champaca and sandalwood, a bit spicy too, probably osmanthus, like an elevated scent of a garden. The scent is wonderful, really unisex, and stays more than 8 hours on my skin, with a lot of compliments following me, very versatile usage, both on working environment and evening party.

This is definitely a berry filled tuberose! I have probably tested all of the Bond 9's but this one and Chinatown are the only two that I own because I find them outstanding. I give credit to the house for all the outrageous scents that they have developed and even more credit to those who can pull them off! As for me the two I mentioned are the most captivating for my tastes. SPRAY ON MY FRIENDS♡

Got a sample, tried it and BOOM my new absolute favorite! I can see the "uniqueness" of the scent is a subject of contest among the reviewers in here but to put it up shortly, if you are a person who enjoys dark, expensive and very dominative frangrances (like myself) this is your go to perfume. Simply AMAZING! Longevity 8.5/10, Sillage 7/10, General projection 8/10.

A very sensual scent. The sweetness of tuberose in the opening and the intoxicating blend of amber, sandalwood and musk in the drydown just leave me mesmerized with this new fragrance from Bond No 9. I love it and the best way I can describe it on the skin is sexy! Lasting power on me is over 8 hours.

This is my favorite fragrance from the Bond no9 house. Very unique combination of blackberry and tuberose notes. Got many compliments on this one and it performs superbly. Not a blind buy, but it can be certainly appreciated as unique and complex. 5 out of 5

Grape-y tuberose satisfaction. Masterpiece. Among Chinatown and Coney Island, but this rises to the ranks of groundbreaking new fragrance category. Unbelievable. Otherworldly perfection.

The opening of Queens instantly transports me back to being a young boy on a warm summer day in the local park. I am drinking a large glass of grape Kool-Aid. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the flowers are in bloom, the sounds of people in the park fill my ears. Life is simple, fun and uncomplicated. The fruity, syrupy sweet scent of the Grape Kool-Aid, paired with the blooming flowers, matches what I get out the opening of Queens. 4 hours in Queens settles down a bit, becomes a tad bit more mellow on my skin, but it is still sweet and fruity with a little white floral. After 6 hours the Kool-Aid impression starts to wear off and the scent rounds out into a pleasant, sweet floral scent. I get good projection and great longevity on my skin. Bottom line: If you like floral heavy scents, or have a hankering for Kool-Aid nostalgia, this one is worth a sample.

This is such an interesting fragrance to me because it plays between two very contrasting scent experiences. At any given moment through the duration of the wear, I pickup either: 1. gentle wafts of a sophisticated floral accord (primarily osmanthus with just hints of champaca and tuberose), or 2. vibrant blasts of artificial grape/purple flavored kids' drinks. Imagine you're sniffing a lovely floral arrangement when suddenly the giant Kool-aid pitcher from the commercials comes bursting through the wall, spilling purple Kool-aid everywhere. Strangely enough I find myself really enjoying this discordant experience! As far as performance goes, it has insane projection for the first 3-4 hours, as in noticeably detectable 6 feet away, through a mask. Longevity was solid at around 7-8 hours.

It is a true unisex & quite youthful scent but on a woman will fit better IMO. I would also recommend it for a teen boy. Suitable for spring/fall and early summer. It's a nice, pleasant and safe smell that I've experienced before in other Bond No 9 scents. So it's not something completely new. The longevity is about 6-7 hours and the sillage is moderate. Main notes are tuberose, champaca, osmanthus and musk. The blackberries add a youthful vibe in the scent and with the musk feels more unisex just as in CK Be. Champaca and osmanthus have better and richer feeling in these scents : If you love champaca try Comme des Garcons Comme des Garcons Series Luxe: Champaca If you love osmanthus try Eisenberg Le Peche Homme Just saying..

First impression on skin only: This smells like a lovely fruity floral perfume. I'm not sure I'm getting much of the base notes; on my skin it's mostly the top and mid. I'm a sucker for blackberry, and it mixes wonderfully champaca, osmanthus and tuberose. It's rather weak on me and leans feminine, but I can't deny that it smells great. It reminds me of something from my past, perhaps a girlfriends perfume or shampoo, perhaps Georgio Beverly Hills which I haven't smelled in 25 years, but I think this would be great on a lady in any casual situation. Heavens this is sweet. Too sweet for my taste. Its a bit like blackberry jam with some white floral notes thrown in. I really thought with champaca and tuberose listed that this would be a heavy, spicy floral hitter. Sadly thats not here. I suspect the poor osmanthus is struggling. You have to be patient whilst the sweetness eases off and you can make it out. This is my favourite stage. The resins seem to dominate all the way through. You couldn't wear this in the heat without knocking folk out in close proximity. It's too strong and heavy. It's a very pleasant but too mainstream sweet and girly for me. Good longevity and sillage.

Let me say this: if this was more affordable I would buy it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I don't love the opening. Right at the start I get a heavy hit on cardamom and it smells spicy like a spice market. But the dry down is AMAZING... the musk, sandalwood, benzoin and amber are blended so well and it's a comforting, warm, cozy vibe. I couldn't stop smelling my wrists. But I can't get past that opening. It disappeared around 20 minutes but I have to love it from start to finish to justify the price.

Hmmmmm...at first very Tuberose on me, white floral, the it turns to a mix of sandlewood floral. Kinda of different, it went back to a amber/ Tuberose. It turns to a plastic kinda of scent. Its not bad just different. If I had to say anything I’d say it’s very white floral. I’d wear this more in spring and summer not in the freezing NY air. I’m more of a winter patchouli person. This is super heady in in the white floral. I wouldn’t call it Unisex thou.

This was not the dark smokey tuberose I was expecting with the other notes but rather a light flirty kind with the Osmanthus really shining. All the spices seem lost to me and while the blackberry seems prominent on my skin, there is virtually no projection :0/ it smells very "white and pink". I could see some uses for it but not enough to buy a 100ml

Smells like a mash-up of a few other Bonds, namely, Harrods for Her and Chinatown. Bond releases so many few fragrances each year, I can understand they would be hard pressed to invent new scents. That being said, it is a pretty fragrance. Worth a try.

This perfume is just so....meh. It's another floral + fruity combo with no wow factor. Ive had it on now for a few hours and it's just so basic and boring. Nothing here you havent smelled a million times. Nothing is "wrong with it" per se - it just feels uninspired. Im on a Bond No 9 kick and this just doesnt give me that unique / intriguing factor many other Bond's do. I wouldnt take this even if it were free. Leans feminine. Quite linear. Try it yourself, however, every nose is different.

A nice fragrance that starts out super fruity like berries and grapes with a bunch of sweetness, then you get the powdery and sandalwood bits which are nice and smooth followed with a nice light base of cardamom or pepper spice. The floral aspects for me was really nice and subtle but very present, Performance is lacking which sucks as it’s a nice scent.

This smells like a toned down version of the original libre.. withouth the harsh top and the lavender

It opens very purple berryish, but its sophisticated and elegant, this will get attention. For a second it reminded me of Belle d'Opium. Then I get the tuberose, champaca flowers and osmanthus; this is a bright yellow floral all the way. The top berry notes makes it sweet, and the base provides the musky note. Its so musky, this can lean toward masculine or unisex at the very least. I admit that I'm not a fan of that distinctive Bond musky note, and it's in most of their fragrances. This one opens up really nice but that musky notes kinda ruins it for me. Its not masculine enough to be a true guys scent, and the base notes may turn off a lot of women. This one kinda sits in purgatory for me. Its too bad, as this has potential. I feel it needs a little more tweeking to make it work.

Boring. In a world of SO MUCH to choose from, why would anyone choose this rather generic and weak perfume to spend WWAAAYYY too much $$$ on? The description sounded so good, I made a blind buy. Tried it several times.. BIG sigh..does anyone smell tuberose? I don't.🫤 It's so tame and unforgettable I'm shocked anyone is impressed with this. Bergamot, musk and a weak benzoin/sandalwood in the drydown. It doesn't smell bad..it just doesn't smell like much of anything..also the performance is abysmal- a skin scent in 30 minutes..For the money, it's almost an olfactory crime. Bond makes quite a few really nice perfumes BUT this is perfume you wear when you want to be forgotten.

Good GRIEF, this is sweet!!! Cloyingly so!!!! 🤢 If you liked Giorgio of Beverly Hills back in the 80s/90s then this may work for you. If that means nothing to you (and i know it is quite specific, but it is tonally EXTREMELY close to that.. including the headache!), then you are going to have to REALLY like sweet, fruity florals to be able to take this one on! Absolutely NOT a safe blind buy!

Sweet berries, lots of florals, and superrrr powdery. It’s very sweet. The longevity, and projection is really good on this. Unfortunately I don’t like this, as I feel it is for an older woman.

I don't know what to say about this scent at all. It was honestly a rushed buy, because my friend took me to the store in SoHo, and convinced me to buy this for my birthday, of course with my own money, maybe that's why i have a bad impression from the start. I was smelling all kind of smell there so by the time i finished i wasn't sure what i am buying anymore. I can't say that i like it, because i am not. Bu i can't say either that i hate the smell either. Just simply no emotions at all. I wouldn't say that this is a unisex, for my taste is a clean feminine scent. I only get compliments from females, they say it's a sweet and nice fragrance. On the other side, when it comes to longevity i would say more than 12 hours. You can smell it in your nose the whole time, it's a little bit too much i think but because it's EDP. I oly smell flowers here, can't say that i smell any fruit. Edit: i need to add this is much better on spring weather. I get compliments that its a nice sweet smell. I guess i needed to give this smell a little time.

I purchased this for myself back in 2015. Bath & Body Works just launched a new fragrance 'One In A Million'. Oh, that Grape & Tuberose combo *swoons* Literally, from the initial apply down to the dry down it is the exact same thing. I kept asking myself where have I smelled this before because I was pretty much over by bottle of Queens after wearing it almost everyday for months straight. It finally hit me when I got him and I decided to do a comparison test. I put the OIAM lotion on followed by the body mist on my left arm and sprayed some Queens on my right. Surprisingly, when I woke up the next morning I could smell my left arm more than my right; maybe because I applied the lotion and the mist. Love Queens, but you can literally get Over 10 bottles of lotion/fragrance mist of this stuff in BBW form for the same price of a single bottle of Queens. Concluding the story, I left Bath & Body Works with 3 bottles of lotion & 3 bottles of fragrance mist. Spring is approaching. I prefer not to be judged. :)

On my skin I was surprised at how apparent the sandalwood and cardamom are, seeing how low others rated them. Starts with a big syrupy sunny burst of tuberose (and what I thought was ylang ylang) floral richness. The other florals start to make themselves apparent after the strength of the initial blast cools down in typical Bond style. This group of syrupy florals - osmanthus, champaca, and a candied tuberose - form almost a single note blended with benzoin to me. On top and throughout it keeps this lovely creamy sweet cardamom and sandalwood. It's strong, but somehow doesn't overwhelm me. It's very bright and happy smelling to me. Well blended, awesome bottle, feminine and playful while avoiding just screaming "FLORAL!!" at passersby 6 feet away. Two thumbs up!

It's close to eighty in Detroit, Michigan (and I have on a fleece sweater) and I'm raptured by this stuff-- I love it. It has got a lot of presence. It's rather strong, moreso it has got nice longevity. I consider it unisex thanks to the subtle benzion and sandalwood base, that gives it a nice balmy and mildly exotic feel being beneath alll of the florals. Never thought I could pull off a tuberose ever but I'm bold when it comes to my choice in fragrance I think lol but this one is just right. If you like grape koolaid, you will be intrigued because it has got a feel to it as such, but with a twist. Update: I think this is better for fall/winter. The heat doesnt radiate this much.. Not certain

In my humble opinion, Bond No. 9 fragrances are rather unremarkable and terribly overpriced - basically, customers are paying big bucks for cool bottles and relentless marketing, while their juices are just - meh... As to Queens, it has done nothing to change my perception of this brand. Queens is a fairly average soft tuberose fragrance. It opens with the trendy fruity notes of blackberries/blackcurrant/black grapes/blackwatever, and then we have sweet tuberose and osmanthus, with some benzoin in the base. There are countless fragrances in this genre flooding both the designer and niche markets; among them, the Gucci Bloom series probably has the best price/quality ratio.

When u are in the vicinity of this scent within the first hour it envelops you. The sillage of this scent in the beginning stages fascinates. I smelled it on a friend of mine and was literally 10ft away...OUTSIDE...lol. By the 3rd hour it calmed down a lot. Its a very beautiful scent worthy of the Bond #9 Brand and I would recommend frag lovers get their noses on it. I wore La Yuqawam the same night and preferred my scent to my friends but I was very impressed by the smell and sillage of Queens. I don't own it, so I won't grade it but wanted to share my impression of it from a different angle...that of someone experiencing a great frag on someone else.

I like this a lot. It's definitely flowery, but never completely feminine. If there is a berry or fruit note in this, it is just a whisper. There is a slight similarity to Bond's Chinatown (tuberose?). While Chinatown doesn't do much for me, Queens is pleasant and inviting. Not overpowering (after the first hour or so) and it lasts all day in my experience. I feel comfortable, as a guy, wearing this to work. I haven't received any compliments, but I feel like every time I wear this, people linger in my personal space. I don't know, maybe I'm imagining it. This is a great unisex fragrance that avoids the common citrus/aquatic thing altogether.

I somewhat dismissed Bond's Queens the first time I tried it. Upon second wearing, I can see (or rather, smell) its appeal. Queens has a strong presence, despite being a floral perfume. Yes, I get some tuberose in it, but the main accords to me are osmanthus and a somewhat watery floral (?champaca ?lotus) plus clean musk. In a way I would call it a lush, greenish floral tropical scent, with some echoes from Cacharel's Eden -not a dupe at all, but evokes similar feelings-. I can imagine this working better in spring and fall, maybe a bit too much in the heat.

I generally like tuberose so I really wanted to try it. Its very sweet candy like tuberose, with hint of fruit at the opening and bit of spice. I like this but it reminded me of Bvlgari Splendida Tubereuse Mystique which I already have (although Tubereuse Mystique is a LOT sweeter but its still has the same vibe). So nice sweet tuberose scent but way too overpriced for what it is.

Weird. I get a grape/wine note for the first minutes which is pleasant and similar to the wine/champagne note in Dom Rose, but later... in the drydown it gets a lot sweeter, and other notes develop and give a slightly rancid undertone...like a wet dog!!! why?? I wonder if it could be the champaca and sandalwood? It is sad. I almost liked this one. A sample is more than enough.

Very similar to Chinatown. The ever so slight additional touch of berries, champaca, and benzoin make it a bit more powdery and softer, but the waxy tuberose is still the main player here, just like in the beautiful Chinatown. Leans on the feminine side, but I as a male wear the aforementioned happily so I will have no problem enjoying this. Definite winner!

A retro sultry spicy floral scent by Bond 9. Reminds me a lot of Mackie by Bob Mackie that came out in the 1980s. It is full of mystery, sensual florals, spicy musks, and an "in your face- you must notice me !" vibe... A very pretty scent for women in the evening, I don't know a man could wear it though

I love this. I am not a super sweat heavy floral fan. Something about this is amazing. I love how this scent is strong and does have a grapeiness. One of my favorite bonds. I am not a Chinatown fan but I do get the comparison of the two. Whether you are a fan of Chinatown or not it's worth it.

I am not a fan of florals usually which is why probably I was not thrilled. There is a hint of tuberose, but its not full on tuberose scent. its best to be described as spicy warm floral. I think its rather elegant and "grown up" but its not for me as I am more of a gourmand lover

I don’t smell the top notes at all. Got a jasmine/rose/sandalwood scent out of it, but it stayed linear and never developed any other notes. Very thin feeling and slightly sharp like all Bond #9s on me.

I'm pretty intrigued by the idea of a Queens-inspired fragrance, seeing as how I've been a Queensite for most of my life, so far. I'm gonna get a sample when I can--a small mission for this fall.

Nice sweet fruity scent, the champaca makes it smell expensive, but, this is not one for me. Nothing edgy about it very wearable and unexotic.

Fianlly, they reach out to Queens. I'll definitely check this out ASAP.
