The Scent of Peace for Him Bond No 9 I came across SOPFH when I was purchasing a batch of decants from my regular decanter seller and he gave me a test spray from his SOPFH leftover decant. My impression of it was good in that it has the pineapple opening, fruity and quite musculine. Since then, I've been on the lookout for a decent priced FB/partial. At one point of time I was pretty hyped into pineapple opening scents and of date I have at least about 13 Aventus like alternatives and a couple decants including the impressive yellow bondno9.com which I'm still looking for a fb for a good price. So here it is my first bottle of Bond No 9. Wasn't much into the brand. Very nice presentation and box. Bottle looks good but being blue in color doesn't make it a blue scent. The bottle's thin width doesn't make it stand well especially if you like to display your bottles, it tends to clumsily topple. The Cap doesn't fit tightly and secures well, especially with that black clumsy bowtie there, even without it, it just sits on it and is kinda lose. The nozzle spray head seems kinda too low and close to the bowtie too, any sprays may get slightly obstructed by the bowtie so I rather remove the bowtie to do my sprays. The Opening, what an explosive clean, bright, refreshing pineapple, fruity but somewhat synthetic and this pineapple projects to impress only like probably 2 minutes and is literally gone and goes behind hidden into the background doing a small supporting cast role. I wish the opening from the immediate sprays can last longer, even 5-10 minutes would suffice. I read with interest all sort of bad reviews and criticism and some good ones. SOPFH isn't really projecting well off my skin, it's pretty intimate after the initial minutes. I did put in quite many sprays from the start. Perhaps I'm getting some Olfactory blindness now as I continue to sniff my arms I'm not getting strong whiffs of it but it's there on the skin. Maybe I'm in a pretty strong air-conditioned environment. I did went for a short walk outside to the gardens in this fine morning and it did seem SOP may be more suited to perform better out in the warmer and humid conditions. Nonetheless I'm happy with the smell, it's comforting, calm, peaceful. I feel the pineapple, juniper berries and bergamot combines in the opening and stays there intimately for quite a while as the currants buds gets the say and main stay as heart notes giving a not so sour and ammoniac like scent together with the opening notes. The cedarwood and Vetiver also emerges and blends with the currants buds and pineapple. I don't think Fragrantica has the base notes correct as the drydown here has a slight oakmossy musculine vibe along with some musk and patchouli. SOPFH isn't like Aventus except that Bond No 9 made it along the lines like a fruity type profile with musculine accords. The Bond digital bondno9.com has similar notes but is closer to Aventus. Scent of Peace For Him does suits many intimate settings and occasions where you don't want a scent to be dominant and offends. It has pretty decent longevity on skin. Just felt that the projectivity is pretty weak in cooler environments. SOPFM retails for SGD$596 locally here in Singapore and I don't think it's worth that price in retail. I'm glad I managed to acquire a new bottle at Usd$175 and it's mainly the brand that's being paid for because the juice itself probably isn't even worth this amount to be honest. But it's a good juice to wear, nice, Calm, comforting and peaceful, just can't smell much of it after a while. I suggest you try a decant first before buying.

For anyone having performance issues there are a couple of things you should know. #1. The Scent Of Peace For Him is a Tart Citric, Sharp Green fragrance. Therefore you will go nose blind to it. #2. The Scent Of Peace For Him performs best in Hot weather, & also in High Humidity. On Humid overcast Summer days & Evenings when its about to Rain, has Rained, or is Raining, this frag shines. In High Heat & Humidity The Scent Of Peace For Him projects so strongly it feels offensive. Now on to the Scent itself. The Earthy Greenness of the Vetiver, the Mild Piney Balsamic notes of the Juniper Berries, the Green aromatic nuances of the citric Currant Buds, & The sharp Citrus of the Bergamot all work together in order to enhance the Pineapple note & create a very authentic accord of a fresh, semi ripe, mildly sweet, Pineapple resting in a Cedar crate. Its like you literally picked up a Pineapple from out of a Cedar crate & took a sniff in order to check & see if its ripe for purchase. What you smell with The Scent Of Peace For Him is an overall accord that smells like the entire Pineapple from the hard waxy leaves of its Stem, to its Green, Earthy, intensely Citric, ever so slightly sweet Outer Skin. The Cedar note creates a soft woody creaminess that works to keep the Green & Citrus notes from being too overwhelming. The House of Bond done an excellent job of capturing the scent of an actual Pineapple with this fragrance. In no way, & at no point does The Scent Of Peace For Him smell like Creed's Aventus. In no way does the dry down of The Scent Of Peace smell like Dior Sauvage. For me The Scent Of Peace For Him is great for any occasion outdoors in High Heat & Humidity. Its a great fragrance that will garner compliments. I bought The Scent Of Peace in 2013 & I have over 10 years of experience with wearing's.

Scent of Peace This is one of those fragrances that has an adverse effect on my confidence. Pineapple, bergamot and juniper berries are immediately recognized. I see some say they don’t get good projection. I must have a rare bottle because the scent is letting me know “I’m Here!” The thing that baffles me about SoP, is that the pineapple is synthetic and somehow, still slightly authentic. Most synthetic pineapple fragrances have a screech factor. This is very mild, juicy and refreshing. The mid... I’m not even going to pretend I understand what Currant buds or baby leaves from Black Currant smell like. Moving right along... The Cedar and Vetiver in the base notes help to bring balance to the fragrance so it isn’t overly sweet. Scent of Peace is a unisex fragrance that leans masculine, in my honest opinion. It is definitely mass appealing and a safe blind buy if you like the notes. To take it a step further, it is back up bottle worthy and has DNA similar to Aventus. This fragrance is Spring and Summer appropriate, whether it be night or day. I say at the very least, if you’re into aromatic/fruity fragrances, get a sample and let me know what you think. I have a pine. 🌲 I have pineapple. 🍍 BOOM pineapple pine. 🌲 🍍 Pine pineapple apple pine 🌲 🍍 🕺🪩🕺 This scent is so good. And this house is SO good. Scent of Peace gets a lot of comparisons to Aventus. I love Aventus, very much, so knowing that fact didn’t really inspire me to try this one. But ugh, I wish I did sooner. This isn’t honestly even similar enough to Aventus to be noteworthy or make any sort of comparison. But I honestly think I like this almost as much as Aventus, and I think it's a bit easier to wear. Performance is great. Musk is soooo sexy and pleasant. Juniper notes are extremely refreshing and not overwhelming. It just smells natural, uplifting, and beautiful. Extremely versatile. SoP makes me want to toss out the rest of my collection. I could wear this forever. I recently learned the history of the Bn9 house, and as a big Creed fan (*pause for booing to subside*) , it intrigued me to dive into this brand. The creator of the house was originally the US importer of Creed fragrances to America. A lot of their scents were originally sort of twists on Creed fragrances. If you love that beautiful Creed ambergris base, like I do, I can’t promise you’ll find the exact same thing with Bond, but they trip my trigger in a veeery similar way. On the whole, of those I’ve tried, they’re a little more modern, and a bit more subversive than your typical Creed, but with a similar classiness and gentle, cozy muskiness. I’m extremely excited to dive deeper into the house and pick up some of their other fragrances, but Scent of Peace is an absolute winner.

This is my dumb reach. Like... whatever event I’m going to and I don’t have time to overthink, this perfume side-eyes me and just sprays itself on. It knows. Black tie event? Maybe...Going out? Sure. Groceries? Absolutely. Chillin’ at home? Why the hell not? I love this sweet, kinda tasty scent and it sticks around for a VERY long time. I’ll go out, drive around, eat, swim, solve Gandalf's riddles or whatever... come home, sniff my wrist or shirt, and I’m like “mmmm I smell GOOD gawd DAYM.” And no, I don’t care if people say "iT kInDa sMeLlS LiKe sWeEt aVeNtUs." Bro stfu ion wanna hear allat. Firstly, it don't... and secondly... just enjoy the damn fragrance. If you don’t like it, mail me your bottle and go deep-throat Aventus if that makes u happy. This is unique in my collection, works in all weather, and for the price? Fair. Actually fair. You really have to be a D1 Professional Hater to find something to complain about. "t-t-this perfume s-smells SYNTHETIC haha! 1/10 !!!11!1!" bruhhh, go roll in lavender fields if that’s your issue. You ain't out here plucking berries and carving sandalwood logs with a machete either. Whats the problem with that man I know I'm spraying chemical aromas on me and not juniper berry extract and bergamot juice... tf?? Maybe that’s what “The Scent of Peace” really means: just enjoy it. And chill. I really feel at peace when I spray that, I don't care bout too much and jus enjoy that fragrance. I recommend it! :) 10/10. WILL buy again. Not would. WILL. Scent of peace for him definately falls into the forgotten gems of fragcom black hole. As a huge fan of this fragrance its something I am happy about as ive never smelled it on anybody else, no matter where I have been. I think the plethora of Aventus clones, the "blue" explosion and the hit/miss nature of Bond no9 fragrances all played a part in this fantastic fragrance falling into the shadows and never really getting out again. The fragrance itself is a stunner, it opens with a sparkling, very sweet almost bitter pineapple & juniper explosion. Its very crisp and effervescent, not cloying at all. It announces itself but doesnt shout "Im Here!!" The blackcurrant & cedar come to the fore at the mid/dry down stage. This gives the fragrance a superb balance, its blended very nicely. There is always something going on that keeps me interested yet it never gets cloying or screechy. The comparisons with Aventus are overplayed its not a clone at all but there are similarities between the two for sure especially if you catch the scent just in the air and are not actively paying attention to the fragrance. Aventus is definately more natural smelling especially at the dry down stage but Scent of Peace gives me more enjoyment and is the one id pick if I could only have one, its just pleases me more. All in all this is a superb, fantastically blended, highly versatile people pleasing scent that you can pick up at a great price if you hunt around. 9/10.

This one's a low-key MVP that never gets the love it deserves. Let's get the elephant out of the room first: yeah, people love to call this an Aventus alt because it's got pineapple. I don't really buy it. Aventus is smokier and drier, this leans juicier and greener. Same zip code, different house. Judge it on its own and it holds up fine. The opening is the star. Bright, sharp pineapple with juniper berries and a squeeze of bergamot — genuinely crisp and mouth-watering without going full candy. As it settles, the blackcurrant and that green tanginess come through, and then it dries down into a clean cedar-and-vetiver base that keeps the whole thing feeling grown and fresh rather than juvenile. Where it really earns its keep for me is summer. This thing thrives in heat and humidity — the hotter and stickier it gets, the louder and juicier it projects, so it's become one of my warm-weather staples. Performance in general is no joke: strong projection for the first few hours and it hangs around on the skin all day. My shirt still smells like pineapple the next morning. Only real gripe is the price, which is steep for what's essentially a fresh fruity woody. But it's crowd-pleasing, versatile, and different enough from the usual blue/fresh crowd that it stands out. Easy 9/10 and a permanent spot in the summer rotation.

Such a nice and pleasant scent! The pineapple notes isnt "in your face" like hacivat or club de nuit intense but it can still be recognized. This fragrance lingering on my skin reminds me of something expensive. Do i like it? I like it a lot but idk if I can justify the price tag. $195 to smell this good... IS it worth it? Update: Its already in my cart on online marketplace. Im so close to being broke but i really like this one haha. I tried Rasasi Qasamat Rasana decant cause people been saying its the dupe for scent of peace and I cant assure u on my nose its different and it dont have the smoothness that Scent of Peace have and the lemon is too overpowering and strong. The only similiarity is the dry down i would say 80-90% close. But the price difference is whats makes it interesting ($195 100ml vs $45 65ml). Update 2: I just found a dupe called Metropolis Masterpiece and I can say its 95% similiar. Theres that 5% that I cant describe, maybe just a placebo effect due to the price difference is too high lol. SPL is what u expected from a cheap clone it only cost $27 on my first try it become skin scent almost immediately (under 1 hour)

People who dislike this fragrance probably dislike sunshine, laughter and cute babies as well. Scent of Peace is such an uplifting and happy scent. It smells like drinking a freshly squeezed glass of fruit punch in the spring while mingling atop a newly constructed wooden deck. Pineapple fronts the melange of fruity goodness with a bright, juicy radiance and the base is held down by a clean and crisp nondescript wood which doesn't interfere but instead does a nice job of providing balance. As far as colors, this is bright reds and yellows with some green mixed in, and a healthy woody beige. Projection is great and it lasts a long time. I've been wearing this in the cold weather and it works very well. I think it will be even better in the spring. Scent of Peace functions as a casual fragrance and a work fragrance as well. It's especially effective in promoting a congenial, positive environment, and provides a little bit of pep wherever it goes. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's the truth. Wear this and let it put a smile on your face!

This one has taken me on a trip and this is how it went. The first time I wore Bond 9's The Scent of Peace for men, I thought, "Yeah this is fine. Nothing special." I saw it as a fruity generic scent. A few weeks later, a couple hours into the 2nd time I wore it, I thought, "Okay that's better than I remember it." The third time I wore it, in the opening, the bright pineapple reminded me a bit of Aventus, though it is NOT a clone and totally does it's own thing. I also noticed just how long this thing lasts. This might be special. The 4th time, I got it. This is special. It's a mood lifter. It's bright, fun, and loud. And it lasts a long time. A fragrance has never grown on me this way. If anything dark, complex, hard to wear scents are usually the scents that may grow on me. But never a scent I had written off as "generic" has changed so dramatically. This is now my "bright and fun" go to. Try before you buy. But try it a few times.

The juniper berries provide a cool crispness whereas Aventus envelopes one in a warmer tone. As a result, SoP skews more towards spring/summer IMO whereas Aventus skews more summer/fall. This has an austerity whereas Aventus, with its more pronounced fruity notes, vanilla, ambergris, and musk, wears more opulently, popularity-driven dudebro status be damned. SoP's use of cedar and vetiver, along with the juniper berry note in particular, really sets this apart. The question then becomes, are they different enough to merit owning both? IMO the scent is distinct enough to say yes, though for me, at present, I cannot justify adding a FB of this... yet. That being said, I do see adding one eventually. The relatively unstable bottle design that requires a bigger footprint than most doesn't help either, never mind the fact it's wearing a ridiculous bowtie... I don't need my bottles of fragrance acting all pretentious and shit.

Let’s start out with a couple things... This is not “Aventus like.” This is not “Sauvage like.” This isn’t even an ordinary blue fragrance. Sent of Peace is a very different “blue” scent, if you even want to call it that at all. To me it’s more of a fresh blue if anything. Very bright, citrusy & clean, with a little sweetness. It’s got a light spiciness going on in it that melds with it’s greenness & citrus nicely with the cedar & fruitiness sitting in the background. I really have no idea how anyone would get Sauvage or Aventus from it at all. But...I suppose we’re all different... The longevity & projection are very good with this one. Above average for me anyway. A lot of times fresher fragrances can lack in longevity, but this one doesn’t suffer in that area in my experience. It can be worn in the day or evening, but it’s more of a warm weather wear in my opinion. Really happy I picked this one up.

The scent of Scent of Peace itself isn't groundbreaking or mindblowing but it's just such a pleasant, versatile, easy to wear fragrance with great longevity. One of those fragrances I find myself grabbing when I don't want to overthink about what to spray that day. While it's not quite one of the best or most unique things I've ever smelled, my girlfriend disagrees and she raves about it almost every time without me saying anything - and normally she couldn't care less about my fragrances. I really don't get anything reminiscent of Aventus. I think if pineapple wasn't listed as a note there wouldn't be any comparisons. Bondno9.com was closer to Aventus but still a twist of it and Scent of Peace is even further removed from that DNA. My one minor complaint is that this does smell a bit synthetic if you're sniffing it up close but that is not a practical issue in the air.

Currant and bergamot on top of vetiver and musk. The name of this fragrance is very apropos to me as it reminds me of my teenage years growing up in Worms, Germany. One of the fragrances that I remember the most is vintage Aramis New West, the blue and yellow bottle, this smells like that. So yeah, in regards to being peaceful I do get a sense of peace mainly because this is a mashup of different designer fragrances all lighty accorded together with patchouli I'm guessing, it's one of those fragrances that will remind different people of different perfumes that they've smelled and trigger different memories of days gone by"sigh"...Not the Tibetan monk kind of peace though. Just a note, in my opinion I don't get even a percentage point of Creed Aventus, this is so much better from top to bottom imo.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this scent yet, seeing as how it's one of my favorites! I used to decant this scent, so I've been through about 20 bottles of it. For those who haven't smelled it, this is soapy + pineapple + patchouli. It's a blue scent, and on the darker end of blue scents, but it sparkles. It bridges the gap between Blue De Chanel and Aventus. Longevity and projection are perfect. This is my favorite Bond No. 9 scent.(Dubai Indigo and HTTP, are probably tied for 2nd). This is also one of my top 5 or 10 fragrances overall. It's really a perfect masculine scent, albeit a bit pricey. But, after going through so many bottles, I will say that it is VERY consistent in both scent and strength, from one batch to the next.

I am absolutely LOVING this fragrance at the moment! I think since we are on the brink of spring wearing something like this is a fun breath of fresh air after wearing the darker, boozy, oud fragrances of winter. This is such an easy fragrance to like (and dislike for that matter) as it does resemble something you may find in the Sauvage line. I say that for comparison purposes only, this is it's own scent, Sauvage is just where this leans. Pricey...sure...but have you looked at prices in general across the fragrance world? Everything has gone up so this doesn't look to bad after all. Great buy, fun fragrance to come back to, can always count on this to put a smile on my face!

I newly discovered Bond09 and found The scent of peace very interesting as i basically love this kind of aventus pineapple genre. I have also tested the most significant scents of this style. The scent is very well crafted and has a great balance in the scentprofile. Very soft/fruity and sweet, yet masculine and potent. This one has no smokiness its just clean! Of all aventus dna i like the scent of peace most. Even if its a simple scent its so so delicious. I have to admit that i previously thought americans was talentless in the fragrance business.. but bond09 clearly changed my mind!! Performance Longevity above normal Sillage above normal Scent itself = fire

This is a very heavily slept on fragrance and it just maybe the sexiest smelling fragrance for men on the market. Sure there are a lot of other contenders for that they smell wonderful but I don't think that they have the insane performance that this one does. This thing will easily last two days or more on skin. Even with a shower you can still smell it. If you like Sauvage and Aventus you'll love it though it doesn't smell like either one maybe some very small similarities and it most definitely beats Sauvage for sure. The price is steep but considering the performance and that you only have to use three sprays of this to get 12 hours or more it's no contest.

I have owned Scent of Peace for Her which shined better on a woman but I would say that frag could work well in the cold weather for a man. This Scent of Peace for Him I liked but didn't see anything special about it. Today it is Summer with 110+ heat and I am here to say that it smells great! The Juniper Berries def come forward on this frag. The other notes circle around the Juniper well. I would say it smells like Aventus but the comparison is not all the way there. Honestly after a few hours I get tired of Aventus, this one I sprayed on my shirt and chest, and it was bumpin' all day long into the night and I never got tired of it. ~ mAKES Too mUch $cents ~
