The reviews just piss me off. It's called burnt hair for a reason. Why would you buy this thinking you can actually smell good with it like you old heads gotta stop ruining fragrance meme culture with your deadassedness. If you bought this to wear you aint doin it right. What you gotta do is: Buy it, Go to an event you know someone you dont fuck with is attending, spray their clothes while they aren't looking. Just spray til you cant no more and then maybe slip them a vodka shot in their cocktail, maybe, idk dont do that but yeah just enjoy life bro.

Extremely serious review here. The first time I touched the box, I cried. I bought this for my 106 year old grandpa and he died from a dopamine overdose after smelling this. It makes sense that Creed ended up copying this in their underground indie fragrance "Aventoos." I would also agree with fellow fragrance experts in comparing this to Office for Men. Performance and SIllage: After my first spray four years ago, I have been quarantined due to the godly aroma this produces. Proceed with caution. Overally: 7/10

From the official website: “Just like leaning over a candle at the dinner table, but without all the hard work” “Stand out in a crowd! Get noticed as you walk through the airport” ...Ok?

Put this exact same juice inside a Xerjoff bottle, credit it to a perfumer, and have the company be any other neutral name and it will have a rating greater than 4.3

  • em inglês

It smells like burnt hair... like the name suggests. Don't know why anyone though it wouldn't.

  • em inglês

Honestly if a Niche house did this , all the Niche snobs would be salivating calling it art.

  • em inglês

I unironically love this fragrance. It smells like wood smoke and cherries.

Actual review leaving all the rest of it aside... I'm impressed, this is quite well done. It doesn't exactly smell like burnt hair imho as that would be repulsive, but it is similar. To me this is in the ballpark of the more smoky leather fragrances on the market, but with what smells to me like a huge dose of dark roast coffee to try and imitate the burnt hair idea. If you know the coffee note from Lush's Cardamom Coffee or Piguet's Oud Divin but think of it on it's own in large dose then you'll know what I mean. Someone below mentioned burnt popcorn, there is a bit of that feel here. If this was by some well liked indie niche house I think it would be high rated, it's pretty interesting and not at all repulsive if you love fragrances such as T-Rex like I do.

Just got my full bottle (or shall we say "fool bottle"?) It does not disappoint! But it is an utterly impractical fragrance that is -- uh, "challenging". That's the whole point. I don't think anyone will be wearing this. The bottle was sweating like a rancid piece of pork when I took it out of the box, so it got on my fingers and I didn't have to spray it. It smells like somewhere between a room where the previous night saw a lot of cigar and cigarette smoking, and a burnt bag of microwave popcorn. The most similar perfume I have run across is Hendley Fume, or maybe one of the more challenging creations from Leo Crabtree/BeauFort London, with a schpritz of Amouage Opus VII in the mix. Tons of cade and vetiver with a smoke accord? Who knows. But I like being provoked by provocateurs in art -- I like experimental noise music and power electronics and other off-the-beaten-path avant garde offerings in visual media. I will eat durian fruit, weird seafiood, questionably sourced Pangolin, etc. Now I have a bottle to gross out my frag-head friends.

  • em inglês

As a novelty or avant garde fragrance, this kinda works I guess. I’ll need to spend more time with it, but I definitely get the burnt hair accord first upon spraying (once on the arm). It then quickly evolves into a musty, woody, slightly nostalgic yet edgy scent with. It’s giving me either biker dude at a dive bar, or old grandma vibes. The burnt hair resemblance is still there, just toned down. After 10-20 minutes, it’s surprisingly wearable. When to wear it? That’s the question.

  • em inglês

an apt tweet I just came across “You know where else there is the odor of "burnt hair"? Ukraine, where Putin has incinerated 1000s of innocent civilians. You're contributing to the stench of death by personally cutting off Starlink internet access to Ukrainian defense while also parroting Putin's propaganda.”

  • em inglês

Burnt hair? Kinda what Elons hair looked like before his transplant and BBL. And what trumps toupee looks like now...frizzy billionaire tiny Tiny tiny...frizzy burnt hairs. 💩 really. Eat the rich!

  • em inglês

The name does not mislead you. This smells exactly like burnt hair. Not a perfume I would wear but definitely a conversation starter for when people look at your collection.

  • em inglês

I wanted to believe this was going to be something worthy but it's a joke. it truly is burnt hair... and money. He wins again.

  • em inglês

Welp there ya have it. Smells like Tuna, bad tuna. 👎👎👎👎👎🐺. Worst part of this it's sold out. I suggest not to open the bottle.

  • em inglês

I don't want this fragrance i want nothing to do with elon musk I don't like him and I can't stand him elon musk

  • em inglês

@ fragrance_girl Stop crying, you will survive without buying this fragrance and knowing what it smells like.

  • em inglês

I'm thinking he thought ' I could sell poop in a jar and they would buy it.' And here is the proof

  • em inglês

Amazingly revolting. Beautifully nauseating. 0/10, but I don’t regret my purchase at all!

  • em inglês

Elon Musk is a cunt. That is all. -1,000/10. Fuck off Elon.

  • em inglês

Try it and you’ll become one of his reptilian troopers.

As the most decorated ICE agent in the U.S of A, I love to rock this when I cuff Guatemalan single mothers and drag them off to the volcano we dispose of them in. Sweeter than the smell of left wing tears mixed with the aroma of a freshly demolished abortion clinic. This scent will be compulsory for all women to wear...it will be on your hipster clothes, your blue hair, the migrant who attacks you will be wearing it ...the breeding stump you will be chained to will be soaked in this juice. When it’s your male owners birthday you don’t even need to think...to worry your pretty little women heads about what to buy the man in your life. Anyway, I got to get back to work...apparently 2 dozen Tren deAragua members are currently loitering near a school. Rest assured I will be wearing this as they are zip tied and dispatched to God Emperor Bukele and his big secure building where he keeps all the violent dregs. Scent:10/10 Projection:14/10 Longevity:88/10

Ok, it's an attempt at humor. Fine. He's a vain man with hair plugs and his last name is "musk". He also thinks he's a comedian because he retweets stale memes, so it cobbles together into something vaguely satire-adjacent. But what's the actual joke? It's not a witty or subversive, or hell, even superficially ironic skewering of either luxury goods or his own cult of personality. The former is impossible because he's in the luxury goods business, and the latter is impossible because he takes himself so deadly seriously in a way that no amount of aughts 4chan humor can paper over. The man may have successfully landed a rocket, but he's never once landed a punchline in spite of his very public and very labored attempts at being funny. “Boring,” indeed.

  • em inglês

Luxury products have insane margins for just a few ingredients. If you can bankroll the creation of a perfume, it is almost guaranteed to be a lucrative opportunity. Unless your perfume completely sucks, of course. By name, this would be expected to be a niche fragrance, with a limited amount of customers, mostly those who enjoy unexpected scents or who are looking for the next thing. But will this actually be a daring scent with the smell of burnt hair? Or will it just smell like the transplanted hair of an aging billionaire when he blowdries it for too long? At this point, we cannot know. I welcome every daring release, niche or designer, and I will be sampling this.

  • em inglês

If you buy this you have too much money and you're giving that money to someone else with too much money... I encourage you to go watch the YouTube video Jeremy Fragrance made about how much it actually costs to make a niche fragrance, per bottle, including hiring a WORLD RENOWNED Perfumer to create the juice. Hint: $6/bottle....SIX FECKING DOLLARS A BOTTLE AND HE'S CHARGING $250 -350/BOTTLE. Y'all are paying it, too!!! Elon's was probably cheaper than that because he didn't hire Alberto Morillas to create his juice. 😳

  • em inglês

Did anyone really try this or they „blind" hate this fragrance like those from Fragrance One. Seriously, some people just want to know what other people think of a fragrance, not that you hate the CO of the house or whatever... I'm not a fan of Jeremy or Elon, but I don't hate them either. An admin could open a forum thread and delete all non reviews from here, including mine.

I wish the "perfume rating" on Fragrantica was used to evaluate the actual fragrance itself (how well does it smell on a scale from 1 to 5?), without taking into account voter's opinion about the person behind the fragrance, longevity, projection, price, bottle design or anything else. Some people are just interested in the fragrance and nothing else.

  • em inglês

Oh, it's ON! After reading this bunch of p**** hurt, fluid (in the head!) Leftists id-iots, I just ordered a bottle. I-cant-wait! You are all mentally ill to come to fragrantica to spout your inane, protester, nonsensical drivel. When you all decide to join the land of GrownUps, come see me.

  • em inglês

why people fighting in the comments over E Musk's honor over this perfume. If everything is ironic for that natzee guy, there should be no discussions and no purchased over this piss water. Stop giving nazis your money.

  • em inglês

The “not a flamethrowers” are being sold online for a lot more money than people paid for them. Just FYI. As crazy as it is, this is going up in value if you leave it in the box. That’s just how the Internet works.

  • em inglês

Beavis & Butthead level humor from someone who’s completely unlinked from most of us humans here. Really. Spend your money on a serious effort that people can actually enjoy on all levels Mr Musk. 🙄

  • em inglês

All these reviews and nobody has even purchased or sampled it. This is a problem with this site. You should have to verify your purchase before being able to write a review.

  • em inglês

Top notes of entitlement and privilege, middle notes of smarmy affectation and unctuousness, with a lingering base of a desperate need to seem relevant to others.

  • em inglês

In case anyone cares or has remorse from the original sell out, this is for sale again on the Boring Company website. Please don’t get scammed from other sites.

  • em inglês

It's a prank guys! A laugh at the current perfume industry, though it seems pre-orders reached $1M apparently. .. He's genial!

  • em inglês

Why didn't he make a musky fragrance that was actually good? And why not call it "Elon's Musk? I would buy that.

  • em inglês

The smell of the burning dumpsters and a leftists protest. plan on going out and protesting ? this is the smell

  • em inglês

For some reason I can't get the notes to load on this one. Sounds awful in any case; really, burnt hair?!

  • em inglês

LOL! The man is a genius with a fantastic sense of humour! How not to love him!!!!! Go Elon!!!

  • em inglês

Maybe his next fragrance will be called "Elon's Musk." "You'll smell like a trillion bucks!"

  • em inglês

Cheap bottle cheap name and it apparently smells like shit all for 100$ lmfaooo 🤦🏻

  • em inglês

Probably smells like totalitarianism. Willing to bet it’s too ́Musky’ for me.

  • em inglês

I just wanna know what’s he gonna do with all the money he made from this

  • em inglês

DUA just cloned it, not a joke. Notes listed as Burnt Hair Accord.

  • em inglês

The notes bring out the cry baby libs. I love it. SOTD every day.

  • em inglês

Top notes: hair, soot Heart notes: absent Base notes: white musk

  • em inglês

He’s been figuratively “lighting hair on fire.” I get the joke.

  • em inglês

Lemme guess, the notes are just going to be Elemi and Musk??

  • em inglês

What's with all the leftist crybabies in the comments?

  • em inglês

Layer this with Baccarat Rouge 540. Thank me never
