Dirty Milk

Dirty Milk is one of the first fragrances from BORNTOSTANDOUT that feels truly cohesive from opening to drydown. From the initial spray, the caramel and milk accord are immediately recognizable, but unlike many lactonic gourmands, the sweetness never becomes cloying or childish. The condensed milk note is creamy and addictive without turning sour, overly buttery, or overwhelmingly milky. What makes this fragrance special is the black pepper. It cuts through the sweetness perfectly, adding a cool, peppery edge that keeps the gourmand elements mature and balanced. The spice is noticeable from the opening but never harsh or overpowering. Instead, it creates the sensation of a warm sweet milk drink infused with subtle spice and soft woods. The akigalawood is especially well handled here. Rather than becoming smoky, dry, or aggressively woody, it stays subdued beneath the condensed milk accord, adding a smooth fresh woodiness that gives the fragrance structure without overpowering the gourmand core. This is not a cedar-heavy or smoky wood fragrance. The woods feel polished, airy, and restrained. Despite containing iris and cashmeran — two notes/materials that can easily become powdery or fabric-softener-like — Dirty Milk remains surprisingly smooth and blended. If powderiness is present at all, it is woven seamlessly into the composition rather than sitting on top of it. The iris behaves more like a texture enhancer than a floral centerpiece. The vanilla and tonka bean in the base pair beautifully with the condensed milk accord, deepening the sweetness while maintaining the fragrance’s sophisticated character. The result is a gourmand that feels grown-up: sweet and feminine, yet calm, woody, peppery, and elegant. Compared to Candy Dust, Dirty Milk feels less overtly lactonic and more nuanced. Candy Dust leans softer and milkier, while Dirty Milk introduces spice and wood to create contrast and dimension. The balance between sweetness, pepper, woods, and creamy notes feels exceptionally polished. Projection is noticeable even without actively sniffing the skin. The scent drifts upward naturally, especially the condensed milk and pepper combination, making it highly wearable and comforting. So far, the fragrance performs beautifully in cooler weather, where the creamy sweetness and soft woods feel especially cozy. In very humid heat, the sweetness and milkiness may become heavier, but the pepper and woods could help maintain balance. Dirty Milk feels like a “cool girl” gourmand: sweet without being juvenile, woody without being masculine, and spicy without losing its softness. Easily one of the most well-blended fragrances from BORNTOSTANDOUT, and a standout for anyone who enjoys sophisticated gourmands with texture and contrast.

I tried it and I love it. It’s in the same family as Blanche Bête and Bianco latte. It resembles more Blanche than Bianco. It’s more sweet than Blanche Bête but it’s very similar. It just misses the whimsy part that Blanche Bête has, but on the other hand I really like the sweetness in Dirty milk. Since I own both of the above mentioned fragrances I really struggle if I should get Dirty Milk. Even though it’s pretty and sweet I don’t think it brings something special because it’s almost like Blanche Bête just sweeter. And Blanche Bête sold me more with the story, name and packaging. Also I think BTSO is a bit to pricey. My impression is that it’s catered to a younger demographic and just toning down the price for at least 20 dollars would be appropriate in my opinion. I know the ingredients are pricey but Bianco Latte has quality ingredients and it’s cheaper and in a bigger bottle. So in conclusion I am a fan of milky perfumes, and on it’s own this is a beautiful perfume but for me it’s to pricey and to similar to Blanche Bête. I would recommend this for gourmand lovers and people who like sweet and milky perfumes. If you want more whimsy and like to feel like a princess or in a fantasy world get Blanche Bête, if you want something more sweet and extra gourmand get Bianco Latte. But if you think Bianco is to heavy and sweet and Blanche Bête weird than this is a perfect fragrance for you. If I never smelled or owned Blanche Bête this would be an instant buy. Smell -10 Longevity -7 Originality- 7 Packaging - 6 (not a fan of their bottle design considering the price) EDIT: So I bought it. Did I need to it? Obviously not but did it make me happy. Definitely yes. I love this fragrance!

⸻ I own Blanche Bête and Blanco Latte, and while they share a similar creamy texture to Dirty Milk, the DNA is completely different. They all feature milky nuances, but that’s really where the similarities end. Dirty Milk is easily the most lactonic gourmand of the three — rich, textured, and unique. Out of the ~20 BTSO fragrances I own, this is firmly in my Top 5. It’s not a linear scent, and that’s one of the things I appreciate most. It opens with a tangy, almost Greek yogurt-like note that might catch you off guard at first, but it quickly melts into a buttery dulce de leche or white chocolate accord. The drydown turns slightly darker and deeper, adding a cozy, resinous warmth that gives the scent complexity and balance. In terms of performance: • Longevity: 8–10 hours easily on my skin. • Projection: Moderate. It creates a noticeable aura in the first couple of hours, then settles into a more intimate scent bubble — perfect for close encounters. To me, this leans more cold-weather appropriate — fall and winter are where it truly shines. That said, if you’re someone who enjoys gourmand scents year-round, it’s versatile enough for evening wear in any season. This was a blind buy (100ml), and I have zero regrets. It’s comforting, distinctive, and addictive. 10/10 — a true love.

This is, without exaggeration, one of the best perfumes I’ve ever smelled — possibly the best in my collection. Dirty Milk takes the idea of a milky fragrance and elevates it into something addictive, sensual, and unexpectedly sophisticated. It’s creamy but not childish, sweet but never cheap. There’s a slightly edgy, almost provocative undertone that keeps it from becoming a basic gourmand. It feels intentional, artistic, and incredibly well balanced. On my skin, it develops into this warm, lactonic cloud with depth and texture — smooth, slightly sweet, a little bit dirty in the best possible way. It’s comforting yet bold at the same time, which is such a rare combination. The compliments are nonstop. Every single time I wear it, someone asks what I’m wearing. It leaves a memorable trail without being overwhelming, and the longevity is fantastic. If you love unique gourmands but want something elevated and niche-feeling, this is a masterpiece. I could honestly wear this every day and never get tired of it.

The composition opens with sweet, charmingly creamy milk notes. At this stage, it is difficult to relate the fragrance to its name. There is nothing truly dirty about it. At most, it feels slightly dusty. As the fragrance unfolds, the creamy sweetness of the milk remains, though it gradually settles, allowing woody and musky notes to take the lead. These accords lend the fragrance a little more depth and a subtle dirty facet. Even so, I remain rather ambivalent about the name Dirty Milk. It is not an overtly sensual fragrance, nor is it challenging to wear. The heavier accords simply add maturity, making the composition feel more refined than many straightforward, linear milky gourmands. And yet, something in me still resists the idea of answering the question, "What are you wearing?" with "Dirty Milk."

Gorgeous milky caramel scent but different than other popular ones! What makes this fragrance stand out is that it doesn’t rely heavily on vanilla to deliver its gourmand character. Instead, the condensed milk and caramel take center stage, giving it a creamy custard-like richness. Akigalawood, and black pepper are present (mainy in the opening) but soft, adding depth and sophistication without pulling attention away from the milky gourmand core. The dry down reminds me of the LOTTE korean cow milk candy! Definitely not beast mode. Mediocre Sillage with great longevity. I can still faintly smell it on my cardigan a day after wearing it. A win for those who find that blanche bete lacks a certain amount of depth but also think bianco latte smells overpoweringly sticky/surface level and screechy. Though i love it Commodity’s Milk+ is fluffier and i personally get too much amber(which i love) for it to be considered a milk scent. Dirty Milk is THE lactonic caramel/condensed milk scent!

A true masterpiece of 2025. Yes, it does remind me of Bianco Latte or Blanche Bete, BUT I'm not a fan of those two scents, especially Blanche Bete (nearly makes me gag). But this is a love, it's pure comfort, cozy beauty, yet with an edge, where if still feels very contemporary and appealing. It is well suited for gourmand lovers, but it doesn't smell exactly like food. Akigalawood is lending it a beautiful unexpected twist in the best way possible. Throughout the wear it luckily doesn't evolve much, if anything it only just gets a tiniest bit sweeter. No unpleasant musks or anything like that. Super cozy, fuzzy, cuddly, and at the same time insane lasting power, lasts incredibly well on skin and on clothes... My hall still smells of it from my outdoors jacket. Incredible performance!

The fragrance is pure tenderness! 🥹 At the opening, I sense a soft caramel, it’s not cloying but beautifully balanced in sweetness, with a very natural feel. Gradually, the caramel seems to dissolve into warm milk with a pinch of spice, creating a comforting and cozy sensation. Akigalawood adds lightness and an airy woody touch, softening the sweet facets and giving the composition more depth. As it dries down, the scent slightly reminds me of Blanche Bête, but while Blanche feels bolder and more intense, Dirty Milk embodies tenderness, airiness, softness and comfort. It feels like it was made for those moments when you crave warmth, coziness and the gentle touch of a fragrance.

Okay, I’m really enjoying this! It’s sweet, has a lot going on, and keeps you coming back. Don’t worry about the “dirty” part—it fades away in about 15 minutes (I hardly notice it anymore). It turns into this creamy caramel vanilla with a hint of pepper? It’s hard to put into words. It’s what makes it not too overpowering but also makes it special. It’s just not as heavy as it could be. There’s a delicious scent bubble that I can smell the entire time I’m wearing this. This also has a great sillage. I’ve pretty much gotten a compliment every time I’ve worn this. The dry down is perfection. I literally crave it. I really don’t know what else to say. It’s a love.

It’s like a darker, richer more elevated version of Bianco latte. I love it. I love the name, the bottle, the longevity and projection is decent, I love the hint of pepper and the condensed milk notes. It’s a sophisticated gourmand.. It’s hard to find a classic straightforward vanilla/caramel/milk type scent that doesn’t feel juvenile and basic but Dirty Milk has done it for me. Don’t love the price but nothing new there. Perfect as the weather gets cooler in Australia. I’ve been layering it with Gris charnel for more spice.

When I saw this launch I had to get a sample from Luckyscent immediately and it did not disappoint. This is classic BTSO gourmand DNA— creamy, lactonic, sweet without being cloying or heavy. It has that signature caramel note found in several of their fragrances. Reminds me a bit of Sugar Addict and Happy Nuts, but still distinctly different. Caramel and milk are the stars here. The combination truly captures the sticky sweet texture of condensed milk. It’s a delicious wear. If you’re a milk lover this is a must smell.

As someone who cannot tolerate Blanchbete at all I was curious as to how this might be different. On paper BB is my ideal fragrance but on skin it makes me fee sick. Dirty Milk on the other hand is stunning on my skin, it is everything I want from a warm creamy lactonic fragrance and this will be the one I repurchase forever. It is beautiful and lasts all day. The day I bought it I sprayed myself with the tester in store (oversprayed) and I can still smell it days later on my scarf.

This is incredibly addictive for me. It’s a delightful combination of creamy milk, sweet caramel, and a hint of powdery scent that cuts down on the sweetness. It’s a more gourmand and less harsh fragrance. Another thing I love about this house is its strong fragrance for its category. That’s how an EDP should be and extrait line in red bottle are not concern. They’re all in very beast mode. Scent : 4/5 Longevity : 4/5 Projection : 4/5 Versatality : 2/5

Im a vanilla lover and omg I was so scared of this blind buy, but I will repurchase this foreverrrr Love at first sniff. Realistic condensed milk, spicy, creamy, gourmand Oh boy, don't even mention the projection and longevity!! Insane! both, on skin and clothes. Definitely worth the price tag. One or 2 sprays its enough for all day long I'm absolutely in love with this, unique, show stopper milky vanilla gourmand

this is the milky creamy warm sweet comforting perfume of my dreamsss!!! i got a sample recently and this has now completely taken over my life. i can’t wear anything else. i can’t go to sleep without it. i want to EAT IT. it also lasts forever, i spray it before bed and can smell it on my skin 10 hours later when i wake up! getting a full bottle asap. i simply cannot go on without it

Wearing this is like swimming in a vat of condensed milk and as a whore for gourmands, that’s exactly what I want in a perfume. Warm. Sexy. Cosy. Strong sugar notes in the opening before drying down into a milky, spicy, musky blend that lasts all day. Don’t love the price point but at this stage would probably sell a kidney for a full bottle (or at least a pinky toe).

Got a sample from luckyscent and this is one of the best lactonic fragrances I’ve smelled. Smells milky and “dirty” without veering into curdled milk or anything synthetic/plastic smelling. It reminds me of Commodity Milk+ without the screechy/cologney note. Update: After a few days this reminds me more of the best parts of Blanche Bete and Bianco Latte combined.

This is hands down my favourite fragrance I own. I love it so much. It’s light, sweet and creamy but also is deep, warm and a bit woody/smoky. I am usually very attracted to gourmand’s but they usually tend to be a bit linear and this one has depth. Longevity on clothes is also a huge plus for me and this lasts forever. This is my 10/10 fragrance.

Insanely addictive. A gourmand for sure, but the pepper and cashmeran keep it from being terribly sweet. Reminiscent to Bianco Latte, but with more depth. This has a very sexy quality to it and the projection is terrific because I was complimented the first night I wore it and I hadn’t oversprayed. Perfect for Fall/Winter!

This is a milky dream. Very unique. So spicy and yes, dirty and I love it. I’m a dirty chai drinker. My go-to scents are all spicy and warm and this is just that! Might even layer this with Mochi Milk by Dedcool to up the smokiness and gourmand factor at the same time. This is added to my full bottle list, no brainer

At first I kind of hated it honestly. I tested it on my skin and was irritated that i had done so. Except, after about 30 minutes i kept getting a whiff of something addictive and delicious and something reminiscent of unwashed skin? it reminds me of the pheromones of someone you’re in love with plus caramel.

Ooo she's expensive. Sweetened condensed milk soaked cake. Caramel Vanilla Creamer left on the counter. It's not spoiled but .....left out all day. Thickened up, warm and dense. You got home from work and realized the mistake. I'll wait until next fall and probably get a 10 ml.

Loved this one. On initial spray it smelled like sour milk and I was a bit worried, however that swiftly passed. Dry down reminded me of a fancier Zadig and Voltaire, this is her. Great longevity- I could still smell it when I woke up in the morning. On the pricer side though.

How narrow-minded do you have to be to accuse others of being paid for their reviews and ask, “How can you hear something I don’t?” Seriously!? Is it so hard to accept that everyone perceives the same fragrance differently? Stop devaluing other people’s opinions already 🤦🏻♀️

To me his is Bianco Latte, but better. It has better projection and lasting power, and it feels a bit more powdery and a little less sweet. As a milky vanilla, it comes just beneath my favorite Blanche Bete, not to say that they are all that similar.

Is strong and bold milk scent similar bianco latte but there s a dirty trait bout it i ll say bottle worthy for gourmand lovers otherwise a decant will be enough to enjoy it, i went for a 5ml first no regret is good

reminds me of Bianco latte only stronger version. Vanilla cake with cream. Definitely not a masterpiece, a mix of montale, blanche bete and bianco latte perfumes.

The initial spray is... meh. Actually, really bad 😅 But give it some time, and the magic starts to happen. I bought it blindly, based only on the notes, and you can imagine how disappointed I was after that stinky first spray 🥹 It’s hard even to describe what it smells like at first — something plasticky, gasoline-like, chemical... 😱 But this is one of the most developing perfumes I own. After some time, I start to smell caramel and other sweeter notes coming through, and eventually it turns into a really addictive gourmand. It lingers on clothes for a very long time and creates such a nice scented cloud around you. This is actually the first time in my life I’ve had such a weird experience with a fragrance — going from “Yuck, this is a disaster” to “I can’t stop smelling this addictive scent.” I would describe it as a pretty heavy gourmand: sweet, but not too sweet, peppery, a little woody, and definitely with some edge. I guess the prettiest part for me is that sour sweetness combined with spices, but done in a modern way. Comparing it side by side with Blanche Bête — yes, there are some similarities, but not as many as I expected. Blanche Bête is more elegant and airier, with more noticeable florals. Bianco Latte is the densest of the three — a more linear caramel gourmand, safer and much easier to understand. Dirty Milk is like the middle sister in her teenage years: her mood changes a lot, she’s spicy and not always easy to understand, but overall she’s fun and surprisingly easy to love 😅

Testing Dirty Milk from a 2 ml Borntostandout official sample. I was so excited to finally get a sample of Dirty Milk’s, since I am obsessed with Bianco Latte and Commodity’s Milk+. I was sure I would adore Dirty Milk. First thing first, it is indeed similar to both these perfumes, but it’s too spicy for my liking. Out of three, I prefer ( and own) Bianco Latte even though it’s less nuanced and simply, straightforward sweet milk. I don’t really get the idea of creating a super sweet, milky and spicy perfume to be honest... I love a sweet vanilla, caramel heavy, lactonic perfume, but not the added pepperiness. It made me sneeze instantly as soon as I sniffed it. The addiction of black pepper and akigalawood is ruining Dirty Milk for me, otherwise it would have been a winner. I was convinced that I would love this... But if you don’t mind the prominent spicy aspect, Dirty Milk is a nice fragrance. Milk and caramel are the most intense notes, followed by vanilla, pepper/akigalawood and cashmeran. If you’re on the market for a scent that features intensely these notes and love gourmands, give Dirty Milk a try. It’s long lasting and projects well for the first hour. It’s pricier than both Milk+ and Bianco Latte, but if Bianco Latte was too linear/simple/boring for you, the black pepper in Dirty Milk might just do it for you. Cooler weather appropriate because it’s quite an intense, rich perfume. It might choke in the heat, don’t advise!

Sticky condensed milk residue spilled and left to dry on a surface, but different lactonic dna from any other milk fragrance i've tried. On skin, i get a lot more butter and popcorn, even a certain saltiness. Sillage and longevity is quite good, sprayed once on one wrist but can smell whiffs throughout the day. Smell is not similar but reminds me of let the good times roll because of the strong butter aspect. Nothing like blanche bete for me, which to me smells more clean than milky and leans toward kleenex rather than gourmand. Not quite like bianco latte (more cookie and caramel) or commodity milk (which i am almost anosmic to and can only get a faint musk from). Not like other cheap Korean condensed milk scents either (milk candy). A little.. greasy? Drydown turns a bit more sweet and fruity then finally leaves a soft sugary cashmere vanilla.

I have learned to trust the process with BornToStandOut and ALWAYS give their fragrances (no matter how unwearable on paper) a shot on skin. Initially, I was very disappointed. Smelled like the condensed milk and something a little funky/musky. After an hour, the caramel and vanilla started to appear but still wasn't just fantastic. Seemed really one dimensional and almost like Bianco Latte without the coffee note, almost like a designer-ish gourmand. Then after about three and a half hours or so, really beautiful. Imagine a creamy homemade vanilla milkshake with a slight powderiness from the iris. BornToStandOut is truly utter art with how their stuff evolves and melts onto your skin and evolves into something really stunning. 8/10, well done.

I’ve only been collecting for over a year and this is basically what I’m looking for when buying a new fragrance - something that smells totally new to me. I’ve gotten totally burnt out from buying stuff that smells so similar to each other, and I think this really tries something different (at least from what’s in my collection so far)z Was super nervous because I didn’t know what to expect, but it really does live up to its name, just not in a bad way? 😅 I got really a strong whiff of something that reminds me of oat milk a little? Or condensed milk? As well as a really strong spiciness that adds to the whole “dirty” vibe but still somehow works with the creaminess. It honestly reminds me of an incense stick and its super relaxing.

The longevity on this is wild. I applied at night and could still smell it the next morning. Easily lasts an entire day, and continues to project. The thing is, the main note I get is definitely black pepper. Like, to the extent that it makes me sneeze. Despite that, I keep reaching for it and wanting to smell it more - and then I smell it and I have to stop and wonder if I actually enjoy smelling like black pepper. I am so torn on this one because there are addictive elements to it, but it makes me feel like I'm eating a caesar salad for dessert.

I keep going back and forth on this. At first whiff I was like WOAH - that’s too sweet. This is coming from a gourmand fanatic! But it was just a lot. Then someone told me they thought I smelled buttery and my perception of it shifted in a nice way - it totally does have a savory quality to it that is really interesting and pleasant. When I catch a whiff of myself wearing this out, I feel happy and surrounded by this cozy lactonic cloud. But the opening is pretty overwhelming to my nose - this is one that really shines most in the dry-down imo.

Decadent ooey, gooey, scrumptious, thick caramel candy that gets caught up in your teeth. There’s a ghee-like savouriness and nuttiness that attempts to make that caramel less sweet, but only ends up enhancing it. Babeluttes de Lille in a bottle of perfume. I have the tester strip in my bag and now the interior smells like a tin box of caramels by an artisanal confectioner. Not for me, but I imagine someone with a penchant for gourmands of this category might adore Dirty Milk.

It's very sweet, almost cloying upon initial spray. But I really enjoy the drydown. Maybe it's the iris, but something about this scent just works for me in a way that Bianco Latte does not. I would only recommend this to gourmand lovers, and it should not be worn in heat. If you can get past the initial sweetness, the drydown wraps you up like a warm hug.

It’s odd that it smells more pleasant near your nose than up close to it. Right on the nose you get a more lactonic sent but away from the nose it’s more sweet and warm spicy. Either way, I can’t stop to keep getting a whiff of it. The silage imo is incredible but smells like a different perfume all together from a distance.

Ama tende kaldıkça ortaya çıkan koku gayet hoş; vanilya, süt, karamel açığa çıkarak bianco latte'nin daha yumuşak ve daha sütlü hali gibi kokuyor, burası da ismindeki milk kısmı sanırım 🫰🏻. Kısacası kokunun başlangıcına alışabilirsem büyük boyunu düşünebilirim, dry down'u beğendim 🫶🏻 Edit: Dayanamayıp büyük boyunu aldım, maalesef ben buyum bu kadarım xjsjxjsdj. Başlangıcı hala çok baharatlı ve kötü, ama tende kalan hali çok güzel muhallebi gibi bir koku ortaya çıkıyor, keşke karabiber hiç olmasaydı o zaman çok daha güzel olurdu 🥲🫰🏻.
