Drunk Lovers Extrait Extreme

It opens with a very distinctive red wine scent, with a subtle touch of bergamot that adds a fresh citrus nuance. It’s very unique and incredibly elegant. Then, a smooth liqueur-like accord blends with the floral notes, making the fragrance feel richer, more captivating, and sophisticated. In the drydown, a very wearable, non-challenging oud appears alongside hints of leather and woods, creating a warm, highly sophisticated, sweet ambery base.

This fragrance is incredibly unique, and it's my first experience with what I'd call a "wine-inspired" fragrance. I've tried BORNTOSTANDOUT before, but only fragrances from the white bottle collection. This is my first time exploring their Extrait line. Right from the opening, it reminds me of uncorking a fresh bottle of red wine. It has a deep, dark, luxurious scent that feels expensive. I don't pick up anything overly sweet or synthetic—it smells smooth, refined, and mature from the start. After about an hour, I start to notice subtle floral, jammy, and spicy nuances coming through. It also reminds me of those red medicinal syrups or candies, but in a surprisingly pleasant way. Keep in mind that I haven't smelled the EDP version of Drunk Lovers—I went straight for the Extrait. Because this is my first experience with the Extrait line, I'm not sure if I'll buy a full bottle just yet. There are still several others I want to sample first, like Black Guava, Black Mango, Oud Candy, and more. Overall, if you're someone who enjoys fragrances with a medicinal, wine-like character and a rich, sophisticated feel, I'd definitely recommend getting a sample of this one before committing to a full bottle.

A little dissapointed tbh. Smells like more wearable,slightly less sharp version of Purple Stain. Was expecting darker heavier version of Drunk Lovers. Jordi been working very hard these days since half of every new release made by him. But pattern is very obvious. Same same, slightly diffrent.

This smells almost identical to side effect by initio. Beautiful fragrance. That fact nobody in the comments has picked up on it tells me to not trust their opinion
