Zest Z&T

‘Z&T’ is way more masculine than what I thought I would get when ordering a sample of a Gin & Tonic scent. Even though this is marketed as unisex I would definitely say not. The gin note is very prominent, and the juniper as well. It is giving after shave, or shaving foam, and in a way, it feels very intoxicating. I really want to continue on sniffing and sniffing this, but not on myself. The right man with a groomed beard and a clean shirt would absolutely send me shivering if he smelled like this. In the initial drydown the pepper and citrus emerge, and the sage gives it a slight sweetness which I honestly think it really suits. On some wears it has turned a bit sour on my skin, it is something herbal that doesn’t work with my skin chemistry, and I can’t help but wonder if that is the coriander? I have the gene that makes coriander taste soapy, so I would imagine it smells soapier for me in perfumery as well. Nevertheless, apart from my own skin failing this scent, it is still a delicious herbal freshie. And I would say that the gin note in this one is pretty realistic. So, I’ll pray to the heavens and above for a man who smells like this ;)

A cold fresh gin mixed with some sharp citrus. A warmness to this. Boozy and fierce. An energizing citrus.

Fizzy gin with juniper and peppers, I like it.

Fresh, clean and aromatic masculine scent Gin, juniper and verbena

Opened up very green and aromatic. Pouchouli, Herby, Almost like a 1970s '80s Avalon vibe. Nice but very classic almost outdated (IMO). For some reason it reminds me of Pierre Cardin cologne, IDK why? It settles down a bit more, remaining very much aromatic but with some sense of depth and layers. It's like a nicer version of a classic clean green man fragrance (if you like that sort of thing) categorically, it's the type of fragrance I'm personally trying to avoid. Looking at the notes, I'm not such what accounts for the gin, but it's the only note that I don't get. Yes juniper is there, but not that gin. I feel like this is what most men gravitate towards when they are too afraid to risk something more unique, but I have to admit it's done well. Probably wore then in Anchorman, as it fits the bill. They should have called it that! Lasted easily over 12 hours, even after 16 hrs I have a more muted but very present skin scent. Just wish it did something for me personally.
