Perlador

I absolutely love this fragrance, definitely not something that I would find myself reaching for everyday but every now and again when I want to experience something very unique and different from anything else. I'm sure you're here because you're aware that this is a PDM Carlisle clone and you're checking out the hype for yourself... the hype is real. I picked this up from fragbuy (Mar 2022, still lots of stock) and I was surprised when they also included a small tester of PDM Carlisle to compare it against, that was a really nice touch. This, shockingly, outlasts PDM by several hours, I found that I was still getting gentle wafting's of this after 8 to 9 hours of wear and the PDM had dried down to a skin scent in half that time. It's definitely not a 1 to 1 direct clone of Carlisle but it is damn close, like surprisingly close, the biggest difference is that Perlador is quite a bit more synthetic smelling while the PDM is far more balanced and rounded but let's be fair we're comparing a cheap(ish) clone ($68) against a PDM fragrance ($300+), that really shouldn't come as a surprise. The presentation is really impressive, the bottle actually looks very classy and would be something most collectors would have no trouble putting on display with the rest of their collection unlike other clone brands (looking at you armaf...). The box that it comes in is lined with soft felt and has a ribbon acting as a hinge. Definitely an exceptional value all around. If you're chomping at the bit for a cheap alternative to Carlisle then this will really suit your needs. This is a crazy deal for the amount of value you're getting out of this. To summarize it's a long lasting performer that smells at least 80% to 90% as good or similar to PDM Carlisle and will outlast it by a good amount of hours, I would not call this blind buy worthy however. Perlador and Carlisle are not going to cater to every taste, I'd strongly suggest trying a tester of PDM first before committing, unless you're a die hard fan of the notes that are on display here in which case go nuts but if you're at all unsure then try before you buy. I have the Perlador for a little over 6 months and it's now in my top 5 of my 50+ frag collection. First of all, I would like to say that the notes announced here for the Perlador are inaccurate and I really don't understand where they got these notes. Perlador is very close to Carlisle. I have compared them on several occasions side by side on scent strip and on the skin and they are similar, although slightly different. I suggest referring to the PDM Carlisle notes to get a much better idea of the scent profile. Some compare Perlador and Carlisle to Red Tobacco, but honestly, I find that they are closer to Mystery Tobacco or its clone, Exclusif Tabac (but Perlador / Carlisle have a more discreet tobacco note and a amp up patchouli note). Perlador and Carlisle share a strong patchouli base, which gives them a dark and earthy profile that can be quite polarizing. Personally, I prefer Perlador, even ignoring the price, because I find the patchouli note more pleasant and less offensive. To my nose, patchouli sometimes has an unpleasant smell of burnt rubber (for lack of a better description). This is the case for Carlisle. In the Perlador, I smell patchouli, but I don't detect the burnt rubber smell which puts me off. Also, the sweetness of Perlador and Carlisle have a different profile. Fo me, the sweetness of the Perlador is more fruity while that of the Carlisle is more caramelized. Finally, know that both are beast mode fragrances. The projection and longevity of both are among the best of any perfume I own or have owned. I made the mistake twice of being too generous with the Perlador before going to the office and I received a few comments like: "it smells good, but it smells too strong...” LOL

Intense, dark, and intoxicating, Perlador Barouge is one of the strongest, longest-lasting, and most unique fragrances in my collection. I bought it as an alternative to Carlisle by Parfums de Marly, which I’ve always admired and had a 10 ml decant of for some time. Perlador proves to be an amazing alternative, almost a one-to-one match in character. Really good quality for a "clone" fragrance. As a scent, it is bold and commanding, a true statement fragrance. Compared to most offerings on the market, it stands out immediately for its depth and intensity. This is not a safe blind buy. I would imagine it can be divisive: not everyone will enjoy it, but for someone like me, it is extremely intoxicating. There is a visceral reaction when I open the bottle, a striking sensation that hits almost immediately in the brain. That intensity means it should be approached with care, so I avoid over-spraying and steer clear of hot weather. Perlador is for fragrance enthusiasts, those who appreciate a strong, statement-making scent rather than something safe or generic. Sometimes I like to imagine which movie character or personality would match with a fragrance. For this fragrance, I immediately think of a dark, mysterious wizard, or a 300-year-old vampire. This is the kind of scent I imagine in a wizard’s tower, or perhaps in the lair of a refined, decadent villain, a fortress filled with shadow and intrigue. It is very dark, mysterious, and profound, with a slightly aggressive energy, but aggressive in a potent, commanding way rather than harsh or head-ache-inducing. It has a presence that lingers, drawing attention and fascination at the same time.

I hated this when I first got my bottle. It was already a second hand bottle when I got it, so I figured it was fully matured. I was wrong. This transformed from a dusty, floral, powdery scent that reminded my of an old lady's perfume (that I literally scrubbed off of myself when I first tried it) into a deep, dark, bold leather and incense frag. It smells like a much better blended take on the Mancera Red Tobacco DNA with some added sage, leather, and patchouli. I tried Carlisle a long time ago, but I honestly don't remember it well enough to make a comparison. It is in the same scent category as CH Mysterious Tobacco, Red Tobacco (closer to RH Intense), and Boss Bottled Absolu, which is a winter time staple in my collection. It's rich, it's bold, it's POWERFUL! I would classify this as having nuclear performance, it's one of the best performers in my collection. Easy 12+ hours on skin, over a week on clothing. Monster projection for over 6 hours. Room filler. This is a good amount stronger than Tom Ford Ombre Leather and a lot stronger than Sauvage Elixir which are two of the stronger frags in my stable. I wouldn't use more than 3 sprays AT MOST! I would only wear this one late Fall and Winter. There are a lot of frags I classify as Fall/Winter/Date Night, I would not wear this on a date in the warmer months, it NEEDS cold air to truly shine. This can easily become overwhelming if over spayed or used in warmer conditions. I will be wearing this more in the coming months, and it will definitely be in my rotation this winter.

I am writing this review after owning this fragrance for about 6 months now. Having worn carlisle before, I would say carlisle smells a bit different than this although this is an extremely well done clone. Carlisle is a little smoother and has a different vibe off the top with slightly better quality. Perlador adds a very obvious middle eastern touch with a more pronounced oud and a very nice sweet tobacco note. Also the atomizer on this is crazzzyyyy !! Having said that, this perfume is an absolute beast in its performance. Longevity is eternal. Will easily overpower other fragrances. I applied about 3-4 sprays on my shirt, wore it for about 2 hours and hung it in my closet. It's been 8 days since that and I get blasted with perlador even now when I open my closet. Cuts through the cold like damn samurai sword through a sheet of paper. Gets me a ton of compliments. Most of my other perfumes get compliments like "you smell good", everyone who has complimented this has been like "oh my god what is that ? It smells so good", "I've never smelled anyone smelling so good". Not my words, theirs. The opening is pretty much dominated by the sweet smoky tobacco with a certain refreshing aspect to it. The dry down is a vanillic bomb. It is just beautiful and so so pleasing I can barely stop smelling myself. DO NOT think twice before buying this, absolute steal despite being a little pricy for a clone but the quality, scent and performance are all more than what you pay for.

I have owned Carlisle and blind bought this for how cheap it was. I believe I have paid maybe 50$ for it. I must say the presentation makes you feel like you just got something luxury. Packaging was nice and the bottle looks great and has some heft to it along with the cap. The atomizer sprays better than Parfums de Marleys! I compared it to Carlisle, and CH Mystery tobacco and this came in second place. It is dumb close. Like stupid dumb close to Carlisle. I sprayed this on my right hand and Carlisle on my left and put mystery tobacco on my wrist. The first initial blast smelled like Carlisle BUT it also felt like it had something in it that my nose just didn't like for the first 10 minutes. It had something in it that was harsh like mystery tobacco was at first. But once all of them dried down you can tell Perla and MT was inspired by Carlisle as they all smelled super similar. Perla was the strongest. You could just tell by sniffing. Then Carlisle, and last mystery tobacco. The dry down was beautiful, and I was smelling Carlisle and this and couldn't tell a difference. I tried. I really did but just couldn't pick anything else up after it dried down. I will let it macerate and see if that does anything in the next couple weeks but so far for 50$ this is pretty spot on to Carlisle other than that harsh opening!

Damn, this one surprised me a lot. I never smelled Carlisle. I looked at the note breakdown and i thought i wouldn't like it. I don't like violet heavy scents (like Fahrenheit or Tres Nuit), incense is not a love for me. Basil wtf really. But i said whatever its cheap, and there is a lot of hype, lets try it out and blind buy it. And it surprised me. First off, presentation is beautiful. Great box, quality heavy bottle and cap with luxury looking juice. Looks like a niche fragrance for sure. Sprayer is like a Dior sprayer, great quality. And the smell has no alcohol initial blast like most clones do. I get spicy nutmeg, vanilla and oud, with a little leather background. I think i even get a little bit of chocolate in the back. It smells beautiful. Love at first smell. Performance is nuclear, can compete with some of my strongest like Oud for Glory or Asad. These middle eastern clone houses are really upping their game, they are even better than the originals for a great price. This one is a must buy. For nights out, cold weather and formal wear its amazing. Not my favorite (nothing can beat DHI), but one of my favorite fragrances. Great cheap buy. PS: I tried Carlisle yesterday and dang its close. Less quality than Carlisle but smells 90-95% similar. I wouldnt buy Carlisle having this

I will preface by saying that I have only sampled Carlisle once and it didn't really jump out at me as the type of fragrance I would typically wear, but there are many somewhat similar scents that I am very much into. I sprung for this because I was able to find a ~65% full bottle, fully macerated, and at a fantastic price. I received my bottle today and after reading many reviews I had high expectations. I was not at all impressed with this fragrance. It smells like something an old lady would wear, very powdery and floral. The projection was huge and it lasts forever, which I suppose are selling points in a pleasant fragrance. I found myself clamoring to scrub this off after waiting over an hour to see if it would settle down into something more palatable. I wouldn't call say it's completely wretched, it ust smells like something for a much much older person from a very long time ago, and it definitely leans very feminine in my opinion. I usually give away frags that don't really appeal to me, or if I think they suite someone else better, I wouldn't even know who to give this one to. I hear this is very similar to PDM Carlisle but I can't even remember what that smelled like, I can't imagine it smells like this.

I’ve tried Carlisle before (both in-store and from a decant), and while I wouldn’t say I’ve got a super trained “dog nose” for picking out every note, Perlador definitely gives me Carlisle vibes. Even though the two have quite different note breakdowns, there’s something in Perlador’s overall character that feels inspired by Carlisle. That said, Perlador stands strong on its own. It’s a beautifully composed scent. I’ve only worn it once since buying it, but I really enjoyed it. Longevity was solid too, around 7-8 hours on skin with just a couple of sprays, if I remember right. Regardless of the resemblance to Carlisle, Perlador has earned its spot among my favorite niche perfumes thanks to its performance and lovely scent profile. I’ll probably update this post with more detailed impressions once I get a few more wears in.

Not an exact clone of PDM Carlisle, however, it is quite close. From the initial spray, oud is slightly overwhelming the rest of the notes. This occurs for nearly 30 minutes to an hour. If you like oud by all means this is the scent for you, and if you don't like oud, don't be dettered from this fragrance. After about an hour the oud fades and the similarity to Carlisle really shines. The oud is still present but is no longer the main focus of the scent and amplifies the vanilla, sweetness, and warmth that makes Carlisle so great. Projection is moderate but the scent lasts for a loooong time. Over a day later and I can still smell hints of the fragrance on my skin. If you are looking for a PDM Carlisle clone, I could not recommend Perlador Borouj more.

Maceration is real, and a must for some fragrances. This one is a prime example of that. My bottle came smelling like a musty basement. I put it in a drawer for a few weeks, and behold: Carlisle. Well, Carlisle+. The sweetness came out to play. Keep this in mind when reading some of the negative reviews here. Not for the timid, and more for the mature in mind and spirit. Dark, patchouli and violet muskiness with a sweet apple highlight. Drying down to a smokey, sweet woodiness. A little Mancera Red Tobacco on the opening, but this is really mostly PDM Carlisle, so you must love that. Not the cheapest clone, but well worth the money if that’s what you like, and I love it. Great for autumn.

I’m a huge fan of Carlisle to the point where I would wear it around the house so when I heard about this one I had to get it . This is a high quality fragrance for the price . This one starts more focused on the woods, it is heavy with oud where Carsile seems to open more floral imo . Once you get past the opening it’s very close to Carlisle . I love how it is spicy, creamy, and slightly sweet, while yet it has a very beautiful, clean musk just like Carlisle . This has crazy performance, it lasts all day on my skin and will fill a room . Clones have come a long way . This is great quality for $45. To top it off it has a pressurized atomizer lol.

Not for everyone. I almost gave it away when I sprayed it on a tester strip. It was too smoky that it turned me away. I'm not a fan of incense or smoky notes. I gave it a couple days and I decided to spray it on my skin and damn that made a huge difference. On skin the tobacco pushed off my skin and there was a sweet note in it but I'm not sure if it's a green apple or whatever but its in most PDM Fragrances that give it that signature smell. Either way it made me fall for it. The notes in here are misleading. But yeah this is beast and it's seductive. Definitely a PDM Clone And you will stand out from the rest.

I love Carlisle and love this frag. This isn’t a clone or anything like Carlisle. It smells similar in the air, though. To me, this smells very expensive, even though I got it for around $80. It has a solid scent, and I wouldn’t say I like incense that much, but the violet mellows it out and makes it smooth. This lasts forever, around 10-12 hours on the skin, and projects very strong for about 6 hours; this is not a safe blind buy since it’s powerful, but it is an excellent formal scent. Carlisle will reign supreme like all OG’s. 3 sprays max or you’re going to kill someone. Rate it 9/10

My god this is strong. The strongest most loudest perfume in my whole collection hands down. Beautiful oriental that smells like a middle eastern twist on the original DNA, still very close to it. Feels like I'm splashing straight oil on my skin when I spray this one on, the atomizer is Dior-like and the shine it leaves on my skin tells me the oil concentration is at least 20% and up. Smells really refined but not for everyone and although it smells great, it might be a bit challenging for beginners. That oriental aspect is really prominent. Love this one.

Ordered this from Fragrancex and got it last week.Sprayed it like 5 sprays in the morningI returned about home about 5 hours laterI was outside and my auntie was.like 40-50 yards away and a couple of school kids.My auntie said she could smell it and she heard the kids talking about the perfume and how they could smell it .So enough respect this thing packs a punch. Just now wondering how I must have destroyed the whole entire office at work!! Thing is I love this perfume,will just mind the trigger from now on

Holy shit this is a really good tobacco fragrance. Really masculine and spicy but not overwhelming. I’ve sampled Carlisle and red tobacco and it definitely reminds me of both. To me it actually smells more like red tobacco just without the harsh opening. 9/10 for me especially for its price point. Great performance and longevity, with really high quality scent. I got mine in a discovery set from Borouj that I highly recommend. Perlador, Spiritus, Silage and Lamastat Oud are the standouts for me.

Yes , Its very close with PDM Carlisle to extent that I didnt need to buy Carlisle. in term of scent , its not for everyone but for those who look for a new trip in world of fragrances , those who need to be unique enough and bored of traditional scents .. actually to me this is GREAT masterpiece due to its unique scents .. Performance is very good , projects well for 4-5 hrs but you should know how to spray it and where another good point is the atomizer spray , very nice. overall rate is 9/10

Stunning fragrance! Rich but not overpowering at all. I love oud and Middle Eastern fragrances in general - I find them to be more potent than their Western counterparts. This is powerful stuff - 8-12 hours easy on my skin - I imagine it would go much longer on clothes - haven't tried it yet, too warm now. I could still smell it almost 48 hours after spraying when I sniffed the back of my hand. Got my eye on Lamasat Oud next.

Picked this up for a good price - $80 less than FragranceNet. Slightly coarse to begin, but when it dries down...wow. Close to Carlisle. Can only think some folk have got a dodgy bottle. This stuff is potent. Easily 10 hours off my skin with a good 2-3 hours solid projection. Going to test this for a couple of months. Top drawer.

This is a super dupe of PDM Carlisle. High quality and very powerful. A Fall and Winter super banger. Dark, Sexy, just downright badass!!!!!!!!!! I give almost NO 10"s. This is a 10. Is it blind buy safe, maybe not. It is unique and niche. On the other hand there is nothing off putting about it. Oh and it is a complement beast!

Sprayed side by side with carlisle and in the opening you will get more of a "stinky" oud right off of the top but in the dry down it really starts smelling about 90% similar to the dna up close. In the air almost indistinguishable. Luxurious bottle, packaging, and atomizer. Get your hands on it if you can 9.3/10

This is a really similar fragrance to Carlisle, just a little woodier and more tobacco-esque. Despite the notes listed, I do get a slight sweetness (like with Carlisle) coming from tonka bean (I think). This is likely one of the best affordable fragrances out there. 10/10 imo

I purchased this after falling in love with another Borouj scent, Gravity. It's a perfect rich Spring scent for me. Not too masculine, and I am surprised to see leather in the notes-I never really noticed leather, just a wonderful complex freshie oud scent.

ive got carslyle. this smells pretty much exactly the same. carslysle more natural but really...wont be buying again as long as this exists. these other comments saying its not the same are pure BS. its indistinguishable right from the beginning

This is a great fragrance, beast mode, so would you pleaaaaaseee do not overspray. I got a compliment right out of the bat. Stronger than PDM Carlisle and surprisingly similar. Goood goood! strong AF. I pick up some Mancera red tobacco as well

Basically Carlisle... justttt a tiny bit oudier, barely perceptible... but definitely Carlisle. Great quality too, that caught me off guard.. and this perfume doesn't have an atomizer, it has THE ATOMIZER.

Smell very good, good perfomance!

Gotta be honest here... this smells very similar to Triumph Of Bacchus by Argos, which both of these smell similar to PDM Carlisle. Not a 1 for 1, but I'd say about 95% similar. ToB is much smoother top to bottom than Perlador. The oud in here had me worried that it would have a certain stank to it. However, I was wrong, the scent of oud is near non existent to my nose. I would say that the opening is a bit rougher around the edges as compared to Carlisle or ToB, but give it about 30min tops; once all the roughness settles, THAT is when the similarities between the other two Frags take place. Occasion: It's not as refined as the other two, so I would say casual. You can dress it up, but I'd guess let the Scent linger amongst you for the 30 minutes before exposing yourself to the crowds. It's rougher all around, settles after 30min, but continues to strong arm and show a little muscle throughout the dry down. Like James Bond still in his suit, but just got done fighting off a few henchmen. Time of year: You can get away with this in the Spring on cooler evenings/nights. Winter it will shine, and fall, it will do well. The best way for me to describe this fragrance? Triumph of Bacchus is the man who CAN be of eloquent taste IN HIS OWN WAY, but not nearly as refined. He's the popular guy of the group. PDM Carlisle gives off pure refinery and gentlemanly vibes. He's the metrosexual man of the group; always dressed to impress. And then there's Bouroj Perlador. He knows the best way for him to turn heads to maintain that slight strong-armed presence amongst his polished exterior, which by the way, he does a great job of showing he can still be rugged within his polished exterior. 8.5/10. May edit this after another wearing tonight.

#1388 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is not remotely a clone of PDM "Carlisle." I base that on a side-by-side I conducted this morning. A side-by-side with Hugo Boss "Bottled Absolu" came much closer. Another on the shelf that comes close as well: Boadicea the Victorious "Complex." Complex is more resinous and it's myrrh note is much more pronounced than the incense in "Perlador", so I would say Perlador is Boadicea "Complex" with some of the teeth pulled. Boss Bottled Absolu is very close to Perlador, but slightly different as sage gives a more "desert weed" green to the Perlador. But Carlisle isn't close to this at all. This isn't likely to offend anyone in any setting and the quality is quite good for the money. What I noticed as I drove to the lake is how absolutely woody this stuff is in the dry down, which is the aspect that most reminds me of Boadicea Complex. But of course Complex even on sale as a tester cost me $160 and the Boss cost me $75. This Perlador I got for $45 and I'd say the quality is better than the Boss, but far less potent than the Boadicea. So my advice, if it fits your budget, get Boadicea the Victorious "Complex", but if not, skip past the Boss Bottled Absolu for this Dumont. I'm definitely going to buy more of this line to try out.

Any other opinions on how strong the Oud is in this? Thinking of pulling the trigger on it - but "Oud!" -- I really don't care for it when it dominates. EDIT: Broke down and risked a FB of this juice from FragBuy - and Yeah, I like it! The Oud is well blended into the interesting body of this mesmerizing frag. Should present no problem for any Oud-o-phobes out there (like me). A very mild and tasteful use of the often odious stink-Wood -- adding in this case some real character (and a little punch) to what is a good quality PDM Carlisle dupe (MINUS the Green Apple & Nutmeg opening). Possibly the best dupe of Carlisle on the market. (Whether this was intended by Borouj or not is up for debate, imo. If it was intended... where's the Fruit & Nutmeg opening?) In the mid to deep dry-down, the Leather turns smoky. A bit of a surprise at this point. But still... alright. I'd prefer it remain just Leathery as it was. Very Oily stuff would be my only knock on it. Recommended, if you can't (or don't wish to) afford Carlisle. Really nice overall.

My review is a bit different from others because 1. I have no idea what Carlisle smells like and 2. I'm a woman. I blind bought this and a couple of others from Borouj back in 2020. Why? Because I was bored and curious. There was absolutely no info out about the scents or even really about the brand but they were around $37US each and marketed as unisex so why not. When I received it I absolutely hated it, too masculine to be considered unisex and had a strong unpleasant opening. I banished it to the bottom of a deep drawer where it sat for 4 yrs 😬until recently when I decided to try to declutter some scents. Gave it a test and while it's still more masculine than unisex, whatever was screechy and unpleasant in the opening before has mellowed out and now this is an almost intoxicating slightly smoky, warm woody scent. I look forward to giving it a full wear and layering it under some of my feminine vanilla scents that could use more depth.

No basil and no leather in this,, this is definitely oudy, medicinal oud, its ambery sweet, and its also warm spicy.. but definitely no leather anywhere in the scent. it gets smoky when settles and also is aromatic. To me this smells 97% similar to PDM Carlisle, I own both and spray them side by side often hoping to smell some difference that would make Carlisle worth the money I spent on it, If my Carlisle bottle wasn't opened and I smelt this first, id just buy this. I love this scent, it's a beast for the price and it's polarizing to some, but it's not bad quality at all.. quality is high!! Id rate it 8/10 I wear this to give off the vibe of "someone quiet and interesting but better if left alone"

Smells exactly like Laverne Tobacco, which smells like Red Tobacco Mancera, so i believe its a direct clone of Red Tobacco! For 85ml, the price is really high at 600 AED which is niche perfume price, but u can get it cheaper in sales or at resellers! The quality up till now is really potent and good, sillage and longevity needs to be tested with a full wearing. Laverne tobacco is less than half the price of this and also cheaper than Mancera Red Tobacco, so if u wanna try this profile first spend money on Laverne Tobacco! Then invest in such an expensive perfume!

Has that same sweet chapsticky vibe that Red Tobacco has in the opening and lingers like that for a bit until it settles into a slightly smoky woods with a medicinal undertone to it that I still find appealing. Sadly, the bottle came very busted up upon arrival and had some scratches too. Atleast, the sprayer was still working perfectly fine!! Juice is pretty solid but not a love for me. Yeah this aint smooth like Carlisle, also smells synthetic, but idc. "Eww u smell so synthethic," said no one ever. Overall this is a great substitute for Carlisle. On the air it smells 95% like Carlisle, but if u smell it up close, it smells diff. The only down side from this is the oily juice, other than that, this is a lovely purchase for the price tag. It even lasts longer than my Carlisle, projection is the same as Carlisle on the new batch.

Very mature smoked musky velvet scent. Something an older man or very out of touch woman might wear. Vague resemblance to Carlisle. Can work in a casual environment, like a hookah lounge. I can detect mildly rubbery leather and a little bit of amber with an oud accord in the mid. It’s not an easy wear. High quality considering the price tag.

This reminds me of a more masculine Carlisle with Killian black phantom and a dry down of red tobacco. This is a banger.

Very middle eastern and long lasting

Dry down smells like Carlisle but opening is very powdery because of violet. Opening is 6/10, dry down is 8/10. Overall 7/10. Not recommended

Good but too mature for me. Definitely not a safe blind buy if you’re under the age of 30 or own less than 3 leather jackets.

This was one of my first blind buys after just starting my fragrance journey and after doing a lot of research I found out that this was a PDM Carlisle clone. Now I have not smelled Carlisle but to my nose and skin, it smelt like tar (asphalt and cough syrup). I figured I let it macerate for a a few weeks to a month and it never got any better. I understand my nose may not have been developed as seasoned frag heads but I don’t think I could like this scent. Fast forward a few weeks later, I swapped this fragrance for Lattafa suqraat and a throw away Ferrari amber essence. I described the scent I was smelling and he said that I was smelling the Oud. This was my first Oud fragrance and I am NOT impressed but I do want to continue giving it a try, ordered Paris corner satin Oud and plan on ordering Lattafa woody Oud later. If this is close to what Carlisle smells like, u guys need to get your noses checked
